Just get all these fixtures on a sheet of paper, get a mate to blind fold you, and spin you around and around for a few minutes. Then when he stops you, just point to the fixture list and there you will have your double. Brazil are too short for a friendly. Even if ROI are missing players, you don't know how intent Bazil are going to be. Really hideous set of fixtures to get anything from imo. I'll have a look before Wednesday, and see if there is anything, but right now, it's a no bet for me.

Re: Midweek International friendlies At first glance, the price on Cyprus may appeal. Iceland aren't exactly the greatest force in world football, and I know Cyprus are an improving football nation. Belgium over Croatia caught my eye too. I think Belgium are probably looking at turning their recent dismal form around, while Croatia seem to be going the other way, after missing out on the World Cup. Luxembourg V Ajerbaijan caught my eye too. Depending on who we think are the better side, there might be some value there. I would have said Ajerbaijan, but others might disagree. Just my early thoughts. I'll be looking for team news nearer Wednesday.

Re: Midweek International friendlies I might be crazy but I think the price on Egypt is great. Bookies give you 10/11 for Egypt to score and i'm on it with large stake. Will wait for team news but don't think man.Un will risk Rooney for this match.Defoe and Crouch leading attack?Moody Terry after loosing captain badge.Bridge? Will he start at all?I see Egypt causing some problems here. For now i'll go with Egypt to score only but i also like 7/2 on draw.Egypt is a good team and they play like one team, all depends on what players they will bring for this match. Any team news guys?:unsure

I think Egypt to score seems good, but I expect the usual dross from England. Lots of men behind the ball. Lots of possession. Two meaninful chances and a narrow win courtesy of a scrappy Lampard or Defoe goal.

Re: Midweek International friendlies Ireland - Brazil Paul McShane gives me so much confidence at backing Brazil to beat the handicap here. Ireland have suffered a serious setback with two of their three best players pulling out. They won't even have the crowd behind them. Brazil -1 @ 7/5

:rollin Well said fkiely! I've seen that lad a few times season and the highlight was when he actually made Titus Bramble look like a world-class defender! Possible Line-Up for Ireland: Given; Kelly, McShane, St Ledger, Kilbane; Whelan, Andrews, Lawrence, McGeady; Best, Doyle Kilbane most likely to be at left-back with O'Shea injured. Whoever plays right-wing for Brazil is going to have a field day.. If Ireland go for 4-4-2 against Brazil they're going to get slaughtered if Robinho and Adriano bother turning up. I'm sure Darren Gibson will be in the team if they decide to go 5 in the middle with Doyle up top. In-play game for me. Given is having a stormer of a season for Citeh and he always plays up on the big stage. Over 2.5 goals could be worth a cheeky punt too seen as Dunne is out.

Sport Football (Internationals)
Event Ireland - Brazil
Selection Brazil AH-1 (Asian Handicap)
Strength 10/10
Date 02/03/2010
Bookmaker/Price 5Dimes @ 1.75 (Back)
Reasoning Ireland goes to this game with some main absences like John O'Shea and Robbie Keane, both injured, and they will face a always strong Brazil, who is making their last game before making the final players list to the World Cup. Ireland is a well structured team but the absence of the experienced Robbie Keane makes them loose quality and the absence of Dunne will also make them poor. Brazil use to get good results at Emirates Stadium where they already defeated Argentina 3-0, in 2006, Sweden 1-0, in 2007, and Italy 2-0, in 2010. It is curious that this is the stadium where Brazil played more times since Dunga took charge as Brazil coach: 7 games! More than any Brazilian stadium, so this will be like a home game to Brazil. That why i pick a Brazil win with AH -1.

Re: Midweek International friendlies My initial thoghts were Brazil, then i realised how short they were, this is a friendly after all. The Emirates stadium has been very good for Brazil and they have good chance of winning there, but now hearing that Robbie Keane as been included Ireland might just have go at it, after all they have been playing well under Trappatoni, so Brazil -1 could be risky I'm not prepared to get involved in this but here are some tips Ireland +2 @ 3/5 Brazil to win by 1 goal @ 5/2

Re: Midweek International friendlies Some info you may find useful. The New Zealand versus Mexico match is listed as an home match for NZ. However it's being played in Los Angeles, as anyone that's been to LA knows, that means its a home match for Mexico. The NZ squad travelled to LA yesterday with the players flying economy class, back of the plane. Only 48 hours in country before game, weak team, no Nelson no Fallon. The coach has called up some players from the domestic NZ league for this game. Mexico should be 1.15 for this game, the 1.30 on offer for Mexico is huge. Lump on boys :ok

Re: Midweek International friendlies Ireland v Brazil - Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.96 BF Always a chance of goals when Brazil come to town but I think Ireland's defence looks quite weak minus Richard Dunne, they have a world class goalkeeper in Shay Given but I don't care who you are, if your defence is getting battered then you'll leak goals. Ireland will get chances, you'll get chances against a Brazillian side, match should feature some goals.

Sport Football (Internationals)
Event Netherlands - USA
Selection Netherlands AH -1 (Asian Handicap)
Strength 10/10
Date 03/03/2010
Bookmaker/Price Ladbrokes @ 1.88 (Back)
Reasoning USA is preparing the next World Cup and they will present their main squad, but they have three important absences due to injury: Clint Dempsey, Oguchi Onyewu, and Charlie Davies. Netherlands is third on the FIFA ranking and looking to their squad we can see impressive names, like the top form players Arjen Robben and Wesley Sneijder. Netherlands playing at home should win the game and i'm confident it will be a great game. I pick a Netherlands win.

Re: Midweek International friendlies Algeria - Serbia Serbia (4-4-2): Vladimir Stojkovic (Wigan Athletic) - Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea), Nemanja Vidic (Manchester United), Ivica Dragutinovic (FC Sevilla), Aleksandar Kolarov (Lazio) or Aleksandar Lukovic (Udinese) - Milos Krasic (CSKA Moscow), Dejan Stankovic (Inter Milan), Nenad Milijas (Wolverhampton), Milan Jovanovic (Standard Liege) - Nikola Zigic (Valencia), Marko Pantelic (Ajax) or Danko Lazovic (PSV Eindhoven) The left-back position and 2nd forward, are probably the only doubts for Serbia coach Antic who included even two long-term injury victims: Kacar (Hertha BSC) and Jankovic (Genoa), so Serbia are at full strength, with plenty of options in every positions and based on previous friendlies and the comments ahead of this clash they'll surely go all out to win this one. The price around 2.30+ for Serbia win is way too high as I doubt that Algeria can follow the pace of Krasic and Jovanovic, while Zigic will always be a huge threat up front.

Re: Midweek International friendlies Brazil Vs Rep.Of Ireland Nobody really knows how much Brazil will want this win, but one thing you can be sure of is they will attack with their "full-backs" or some would call them defensive wingers :lol My only bet will be Brazil to have the more corners. The brazil win is 1.48 with Betfair, yet the corner bet is 1.63 currently. With Brazil constantly getting to the byline with the likes of either Daniel Alvez or Maicon, alot of these are going to get charged down for corners. Corners match bet - Brazil @ 1.63 Betfair

Re: Midweek International friendlies In regards to the under 21's there are a few appealling options tonight as well. I know it's half time but the price of 9/5 on Iceland +2 was huge earlier and hopefully some got on it. They were 18's to win and could manage it still. (I think they're around 14's now) Bosnia to win tonight at almost evens looks quite decent value. They've finally gotten their campaign back on track after beating Wales last time out quite impressively. Scotland to beat the -2 handicap at 13/8 looks interesting also, what with them winning this exact fixture away last time out 4-0. Azerbaijan have been woeful and this should be a formaility for Scotland tonight. The last two together pay around 5/1 in a double also.

Re: Midweek International friendlies Brazil will no doubt play with plenty of freedom and usually take these games, especially at the Emirates as seriously as you can for a friendly annd they have plenty of attacking options, ROI have n't got anything to play for in terms of buliding towards the WC so might try a few things themselves tonight. Brazil HT/FT @ 13/10 (Bluesq)
