Think jok new he wouldnt catch the winner final 100yds and had a little left, also slightly hampered straight but only cost him half a length. Hold up horse but lets hope he is only held up 3 or 4 lengths off the lead today. may be another bet later.

Re: Dave's Bets 2010 230wolv Pomeroy 1pt win 5/2 generally. I backed this at 3/1 this morning and the markets appear to confirm it is strongly fancied. Top of my speed figures and into a handicap after 3 runs to get a mark. Tom Dascombe has had 2 wins and 3 placed from only 6 runners in the last 2 weeks.

Re: Dave's Bets 2010 340 Lingfield Bridge Of Gold 0.5pt ew 17/2 hills Unexposed but obviously had training problems as now a 4yo and only 3 career runs to date, all at 8f. Not run for 205 days but goes well fresh as won on debut in April last year. Highly regarded as second run was in Listed class, 4th by just over 2L. First run at 10f but Giants Causeways progeny have a good strike rate at 10f+. Updated Results- bets 10 won 4 S/R 40% stakes 10pts profit +4.99pts ROI +49.9%

From the same yard as tag team who have now had 3 winners and 2 seconds from last 6 runners. Since moving to John Harris has had 3 runs at Southwell and although he has run to a decent level there he is better on polytrack.

Re: Dave's Bets 2010 310market Rasen extra smooth 0.5pt ew 5/1BOG lads ( I took 11/2 BOG about an hour ago) Oops! forgot to put this up on the thread after backing it. Very lightly raced and obviously had its problems. Off track for about a year but now had 2 runs to get fit including 3rd by 12L lto. Has travelled well in both races just got tired towards the finish and should now be spot on.

Should come on for that run on its handicap debut although ideally I think it will need further later in the season.

Much improved hurdler in 09. Has form on soft/heavy. Trainer a win and 2nd from only other 2 runners in last 2 weeks.

Gamble just failed on hcp debut and return from 149 day break 2 weeks ago over CD. To far off pace, flew straight to go down by a head. Will have come on for that experience and only up 2lb
