Superleague Round 4

Recommended Posts

Fri Bradford -26 (Bet&win) v Salford +32 (BlueSq) Castleford +16 v St Helens -14 Sat Wakefield +10 (Totalbet) v Hull -6 (BlueSq) Sunday London +10 (bet365) v Warrington -6 (Skybet) Widnes +22 (Ladbrokes) v Leeds -16 (Skybet/VC) Huddersfield +8 v Wigan -6 Friday Castleford v St Helens Castleford have been a real disappointment this season, and already there have been calls for Graham Steadman to be replaced, they come into this game really needing a boost, there only win this year has been against UTC, and in there last two league games have been outscored 26 – 66. St Helens on the other hand are flying, unbeaten from the start of the season, they are going to lose at some point, especially if they keep letting teams get a start on them. St Helens have some very important games coming up over the Easter weekend – Wigan on Good Friday, Bradford on Easter Monday. I think St Helens will be too strong and the wounded Tigers will be tamed. Bet: St Helens -14 10/11 generally available

Re: Superleague Round 4 Cas v Saints - didn't get to watch this one last night, but did catch the score at half-time, at 0-12, thought it was money in the bag, never mind. London v Warrington Last season London finished top-6 (fifth) for the first time ever, but they don't look like repeating it this season. To be fair they have the most horrendous injury problems at the moment, but their only league win to date was last weekend against newly promote Salford. In contrast Warrington are flying, they have only suffered one reverse (against Hull) and are in the semis of the Challenge Cup. They did a professional job last weekend in a fixture that had all the potential to be a banana skin. London do have the historical edge in this fixture, leading 6-4 during the Superleague era, but I think Warrington's superior current form will see them cover the 6 point handicap
