Phoned and asked about expiry dates and there doesn't appear to be one. I have told Betfair that their decision breaches the code of conduct issued by their licensing authority, which states A Licensee shall not publish in any manner whatsoever through any medium and in any place advertising that (d) is false and untruthful, particularly about the chances of winning or the expected return to a gambler." I will write to the licensing authority to challenge the decison not that it will do me much good. Seems that WPT mag should do something about this. The ad/freeroll that appeared in the UK magazine DIDN'T include a clause about UK/Ireland readers but that line WAS put up on the American magazine's website in the States by mistake (WPT has a UK and US magazine, with a separate .co.uk and .com website). As it turned out, that still didnt deter Europeans who'd possibly taken the password from East European forums from entering the tournament, and Betfair didn't stop them. Anyway, as it looks, Betfair intended ANYONE to play (or, as stated in the freeroll, simply 'WPT readers'). As i've stated in emails back and forth with Kevan who came 2nd, we'll be looking at ways of stopping passwords appearing on other forums (amazingly, it appeared on Betfair's OWN forum before the tournament!!) to protect people who buy and subscribe to the mag, whether they be in the UK or Spain, or Poland, or wherever we sell our magazine across the world. It's difficult for us to stipulate officially 'UK and IRELAND readers' in the mag as that excludes genuine readers across Europe, but I see there is a problem that needs sorting). I had an even worse experience with Stan James a couple of months ago that destroyed two weeks of my life, dont let this eat away at you.
