Jolly ranch looks at home on the AW by the looks of things havng won his maiden over CD and a 4th on handicap bow back in jan/feb this year. Has since shown little on turf but again looked promise back round here last time out running a 3rd, runs off same mark still lightly raced and could still be improving. Yourelikemefrank was 2nd in front of jolly ranch last time out an is 2lb worse off and also loss of jockeys 5lb claim may be why he is a bigger price but I feel still deserves respect as again is lightly raced and still improving! Needs show a bit more on the all weather than he did on his debut but looks capable. Lucky mellor has been showing plenty of promising on the all weather at lingfield and is raised 2lb for latest effort and drawn reasonably well too. The other threat could be from an outsider wanchai whisper who won impressively in a seller round here but was disappointing off this mark on handicap debut needs to show more. 1pt win radio city 0.25pt e/w lucky mellor 6.50 Wolverhampton Chief red cloud seems to prefer the aw surface having won round kempton in june off a 5lb higher mark, last run a good 3rd last time out round here and gets to run off same mark lightly raced and sure to be improving and drawn well. Florentia ran her best race to date last time out round lingfield is raised 1lb for that but is another that is well treated to be improving and if building on latest effort should be there or abouts 0.25pt e/w chief red cloud 0.25pt e/w florentia 7.50 Wolverhampton Followtheflag was looking back to some of his best until last effort over this course but had awful draw and never got on terms but has a slightly better draw tonight and may have learnt something needs to be more prominent, Cannon back on board claiming 7lb which is useful. Phluke is also well treated on some of his best running and has previously won on all weather all be it years ago and now does little running around the aw scene, but may just kept him going again after a poor season so far. 0.5pt win/0.25pt e/w depending on price- darcey 0.25pt e/w phluke 7.00 Kempton Zalkani won well round wolverhampton back in april and has been running consistently without threatening has now dropped back down to last winning mark and useful claimer on board claiming 5lb big concern is the draw from stall 4. 0.25pt e/w zalkani 8.30 Kempton Tough handicap where nearly impossible to cross any of these out but musleh will need to dictate the race if doing so should have it in the bag in a small field should get the chance to do it, this race is easier than last and sure to bounce back. chris34 Posted September 25, 2009 Author Share Posted September 25, 2009 Re: All Weather Hound Winter 09/10 Will try and catchup with results on sunday busy weekend gotta do some extra work rubbish! 6.15 Kempton Randama bay showed a glimmer of hope last time out when second at Hamilton and is extremely well handicapped on all weather form when winning off a mark of 70 runs of 65 tonight and looks as if the step up in trip is working. Dinner date is another starting to show signs of a return to form and is only 1lb higher in handicap on last win round here in November, has run 2 good 3rds recently over this trip on turf return to all weather just may be the trick. 0.25pt e/w randama bay 0.25pt e/w dinner date 6.45 Kempton Arty crafty is gonna be hard to beat on form having won off this mark very readily at Hamilton and previously won round here aswell so surface no worry and just a typical Prescott handicap improver! The main threat is gonna come from CD winner last time out foxtrot Charlie who won in gritty style from a bad draw has a much better draw tonight which should help as he seems to be a prominent sort. 3pt win arty crafty 0.5pt e/w foxtrot Charlie 8.15 Kempton Diamond laura is taking a strange route in my opinion considering she won a handicap nicely and then second off a 6lb penalty and a great 3rd in a valuable conditions race yet has been put into claimers and is effective on the all weather surface having put a slightly disappointing second in at wolverhampton in a claimer, but looks even better treated here and Callan on board a massive positive and also a fantastic draw everything looks right and just cant help myself betting in a claimer may be proved wrong!! 2pt win diamond laura 8.45 Kempton Another claimer but I feel a decent bet again here with mutamared who won in real gritty style in a tough little handicap at goodwood at couple weeks ago for new yard and could well just be placed nicely here for a follow up with a horse who was prolific last winter in claimers on the all weather. 1pt win mutamared Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
chris34 Posted September 27, 2009 Author Share Posted September 27, 2009 Re: All Weather Hound Winter 09/10 4.00 Wolverhampton Suzi spends ran a much better 4th last time out on turf and form working out well from that race and goes well on the all weather having won off a 1lb higher mark than todays at lingfield in November last year. 0.5pt e/w suzi spends 5.00 Wolverhampton Mabait won well under Fallon last time out round here and looked to have plenty left up his sleave and is only raised 3lb for that effort is again drawn reasonably well. Hightime heroine hasn’t been seen on the all weather yet but has clearly got into handicaps off a fair mark when finishing second off todays mark sure to have learnt more decent jockey change to Moore!! 0.5pt win mabait 7/2 bet365 0.5pt win hightime heroine 4/1 bet365 5.30 Wolverhampton Cheers for thea is not one to cross off just yet won fairly comfortably round here a few weeks ago and although maybe slightly disappointing in latest run on turf clearly looks to like the all weather and 6lb rise shouldn’t stop her getting involved again main concern is the draw tho. Arashi ran his best race to date last time out round here off a 2lb lower mark but interestingly Fallon takes the ride today and is clearly improving and is lightly raced and has a much better draw today.
