Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Tomorrows bets: 4.50 Catterick Willing to take a risk with this one glencairn star, has been off for well over 2 years and fitness has be a concern aswell as not treated that well on weights but relishes the soft ground and this looks a poor race to enter a horse that has run well in valuable races!! 0.25pt e/w glencairn star 8.25 Leicester Bombina has shown plenty of promise this year in handicaps and plenty of improvement possible looks as though good ground suits well 0.5pt e/w bombina 6/1 (bog bet365) 3.00 Lingfield Ever cheerful always runs well here at lingfield, runs off a mark of 61 today last won here off a mark of 66 last spring and has run well off this mark recently here, is also drawn well 0.5pt e/w ever cheerful 4.00 Lingfield Bluebok doesnt have a great draw but is more than capable on the aw lost his way over turf recently dropped back to 60 which is the mark he won off last time he won on the all weather at wolverhampton, j dean also claiming 5lb which could be a massive boost 0.5pt e/w bluebok 7.40 Sandown Emirates sport looks as though he can be a classy sort, go dolphin finally coming into some form and detori is ridng lot better recently, runs off same mark as a recent win on the all weather and could be fairly treated for return to turf. 1pt win emirates sport

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Thanx fin see your fine form is continueing well done mate aswell!! ;)!! Anyway have been out tonight and drawed these out last night so hope they are all still running etc and sorry if bit rushed! 4.05 Bath the tatling sadly dropped back into claiming company again, has been running well in handicaps and seems to always find 1 or 2 to good a mo, but is more than capable of landing a lowly race like this 1pt win the tatling 2.45 sandown Chris's jem get back it really lol, looks as though could be suited to faster and slightly slower ground aswell and looks well treated on handicap debut was in front of the prolific billybeetroot who has won off a mark of 60 since rathern light who was second has won off a mark of 62 chris is rated 68 and improvement more than possible especially with hughes booked! 0.5pt win chris jem 4.30 sandown Rayhani went off the boil end of last year but has run in much better races than this one last won off a mark of 89 when going fresh last year, rated 87 today and going fresh again 0.25pt e/w rayhani 12/1 (bog paddypower) 7.20 Doncaster Captain scooby last won off a mark of 72 only 70 today, that was on soft ground so can cope with the cut visored for the first time today which could help get him back in front and has been running consistently all year 7.50 Doncaster Happy anniversairy has been in cracking form but struggling to get infront, but yet is yet to finish out of the places in handicaps is raised a further 2lb but claimer booked today taking 5lb and seems to relish a cut in the ground 0.5pt e/w happy anniversairy 5/1 (BOG bet365) 6.35 Epsom Wotashirtful is another placepotter's dream 22 runs 19 places/wins and handicapper looks to be going easy on him runs off same mark when running a decent 2nd time before last, you can discount the his last run as that was in a valuable handicap and was outclassed although not totally but looks back on a fairer level today! 0.5pt e/w wotashirtful 5/1 (BOG bet365)

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread I hope he wins for you today Chris, but I would suggest, as a friendly piece of advice, to give up on The Tatling. He has no turn of foot nowadays, that's why he always has one or 2 in front. Don't keep chasing him in the hope he gets it right cos even if he does win 1, you'll still probably be comfortably behind on him as the odds won't be good enough to wipe out your previous losses on him. Just friendly advice and my opinion

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Yesterdays results: glencairn star was well beaten as was prob to be expected really emirates sport was extremely disappointing. Bombina ran a a nice race behind fav n 2nd fav sp was 11/2 so we did a bit better than that got 6/1 ;) Bluebok didnt let me down and was given a brilliant ride by a promising apprentice at 12/1 winner Ever cheerful was also pleasing effort coming 2nd at 11/1 Bank at end of yesterday: 113.76pts Todays results: Wotashirtful was withdrawn, both rayhani and chris's jem were hugely disappointing. Captain scooby ran a good race until the final furlong and could well be suited to a drop back to 5f trip. Happy anniversairy ran a cracker until showing no turn of foot what so ever but was 2nd at 5/1 so was bet to nothing. The only reall winner of the day was tatling at 5/4 showing he is still capable at the right level and wouldnt be surpised to see him back in handicap company aslong as no rise in mark should run a good one with confidence running high! Current bank: 112.51pts

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Bets for tomorrow 3.50 Ascot Strawberrydaiquiri is progressing nicely after a super easy win in a listed event, rated the highest in the field and can cope with the slight cut in the ground. 1pt win strawberrydaiquiri 5.35 Ascot Mick is back has been the model of consistency of late drawn well in stall 2, goes well on fast ground aswell as good ground, is only raised 3lb for recent win at brighton and could still prove to be well handicapped 0.5pt e/w mick is back 7.40 Newmarket Artisitic license seems to go well under Holland, ran a good 3rd here a month ago just 3lb higher today but any further softening in ground would concern as prefers the faster ground 0.5pt e/w artistic license 8/1 (bet 365 bog) 8.45 Newmarket Indian violet looks as though he could take a handicap or 2 around this mark, had done very little in 3 maidens but was second in first try at handicap runs off the same mark today, drawn nice and high aswell which pays here at newmarket 0.5pt e/w indian violet 6.00 york Dark ranger has shown some promise on the turf but never won, won extremely comfortably on the AW off a mark of 55 runs off a mark of 62 tonight but claimer takes off a very useful 3lb 0.5pt e/w dark ranger 6.20 Chepstow Arab league is an interesting sort of horse has ridden in 2 handicaps both times runner up, he has hung both times towards the finish and probably lost him the race last time hopefully the stable will have learnt from this and stepped up a furlong could also help. Seems to also cope with the softer ground 0.5pt e/w arab league

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Disappointing day unfortunately Arab league was heavily backed into 4/1 fav came second so money back job, strawberry didnt let me down won at 4/6. The losers dark ranger and artistic license were awful, mick is back stumbled out of stalls but probably was outclassed today anyhow and indian violet was not far away back in 4th and should be capable off this mark! Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread A few for tonight 6.15 Lingfield Ambrose princess ran a great race on back of some very decent runs over hurdles. The ground will suit well and is not raised for that decent effort last time out when he found one too good 1pt win ambrose princess (3/1 BOG) 6.00 Salisbury Akram is another interesting runner from a jumps yard, ran a decent 2nd when making a comeback over hurdles 2 weeks ago rated 108 over hurdles, fast ground should also suit and has one of the best jockeys on board in this amateur event alan berry 1pt win akram (4/1 BOG) 8.40 Salisbury Perfect friend has been super consistent recently and finished 2nd behind the useful and well backed ave last time out on soft ground, prior to that won over tonights trip on fast ground and is only 5lb higher 0.5pt e/w perfect friend (13/2 bog)

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Fantastic day of racing for a sunday especially considering I have got plenty of time to go through it :)!! 2.50 Ascot Dont normally play in maidens but this is surprise to see this horse in such a low level event. Mezenah finished second behind Sariska in her last start at the back end of last year year, also finished runner up to july jasmine who was impressive in a listed event and also bombina who has gone on to win in some lower class handicaps and on that evidence should be capable of landing something like this. Main concern is why has it taken so long for godolphin to get her out and why in such a low class event. Looks as though she wouldnt want the ground to dry out to much more neither. 2pt win mezenah 3.25 Ascot Bajan tryst looked much more at home in this sort of event last time out when winning by 3/4l is raised 5lb but looked as though there was more to come, performs best on good ground, also hughes taking the ride is of interest for the ryan stable 0.5pt e/w bajan tryst (13/2 bog) 4.00 Ascot The cyaterers has been in fine form of late and seems to just keep improving which is amazing for the age of this horse but looks completely capable of improving enough to put a bold fight in what could be a tactical affair and could you want anyone better than hughes'y on board for a tactical ride. 0.5pt win the cayterers (6/1 bog) 4.35 Ascot Record breaker is better than he showed in a top class event at newmarket when also stepped in trip back to a trip he can get today and in a slightly less competitive race. Is only 1lb off his mark when he finished runner up behind drill sergeant at royal ascot, royston taking the ride again and seems to get on well with him. 0.5pt e/w record breaker (8/1 bog) 5.10 Ascot Not a race for me a 5f sprint with 25 runners no thankyou but of course the sprint king will prob take some beating coming into this mob handed with 8 runners!!!!!! Good luck if you play this one ;) 2.25 Carlisle Cheyenne red finished third behind lucky dan who showed too much improvement to be possible and one has to wonder whether that was a one off run, cheyenne red has shown enoough consistency for me to have a little go, is also 10lb better off on lucky dan today! 0.5pt win cheyenne red (7/2 bog) 3.35 Carlisle Another race i wouldnt normally play in because dont no much about the jockeys etc. but there is an impressive gelding in this line up, saga de tercey won a bumper in impressive style and then went on to win a maiden back in april and form from that is working out well does need to prove himself on softer ground but this horse looks as though is capable of going on to better things 1pt win saga de tercey 2.40 Ponte Looks a interesting race with several in form horses and 2 hatrick seeking, master nimbus is hatrick seeking on flat but failed to be over impressive over hurdles recently but it seems the money about is pushing out the other hatrick seeker forest flyer who is 3lb higher when winning last time out but has Tylicki on board claiming back that 3lb which could be very very useful 0.5pt e/w forest flyer (8/1 bog) 3.15 Ponte Dontpayferryman is back out for the fahey/hanagan team when last seen on the flat was a running off a 1lb higher mark on the all weather and should be able to improve on the turf aswell as does reasonably well on the jump circuit and can more than cope with the cut 1pt win dontpaytheferryman 4.25 Ponte Either im missing something or the bookies have gone mad but 33/1 looks a massive price for barons spy won a similar event to this off a mark of 83, then ran a brilliant second off mark of 87 up against thebes in a class 2 event back down to class3 today and run off same mark can cope with a cut in the ground. The massive problem is the draw but does not warrant a 33/1 price lol 0.5pt e/w barons spy (33/1) 5.30 ponte Select commitee is one of the most consistent sort and looks as though the handicapper is going easy on him has finished runner up twice off this mark, does struggle to get in front but has once off a mark of 56 0.5pt e/w select committee (4/1 bog)

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Saturdays result: only ambrose showed any profit winning at 10/3 bank after saturday: 110.51 Todays results: All ascot's bets were non winners lol! As for the go dolphin one was maybe unlucky in finding one to good! Both at carlisle were extrememly disappointing especially saga de tercey after being backed heavily! And only 1 at ponte showed any promise in our 33/1 shot came 3rd and as suspected was massively over priced! Bank after sunday: 105.14

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Tomorrows bets: 4.00 Yarmouth Autumn blades is a horse I notebooked on his run at wolverhampton needing a better draw and possibly some headgear fitted and was probably better on the all weather but showed enough promise on turf next time out and is now fitted with cheek pieces today and only 1lb higher in handicap and if cheek pieces have desired affect should go well 1pt win autumn blades 4.30 Yarmouth River kirov ran a great race at a big price at newmarket on friday night and proved he can go on softer ground which is likely here if we get the rain they talk about, runs off same mark but has a 7lb claimer riding so he can give him a good ride and make use of the 7lb claim! 1pt win river kirov (9/4 BOG) 5.00 Yarmouth Squirtle ran a cracker of a race when running fresh, comes back here again fresh and is only 3lb in handicap for a 1 1/4l in over my mate max, loves the softer ground and luke morris rides again and gets on well with him. 0.5pt e/w squirtle 3.15 Southwell Swinbrook is interesting to see him dropped back into claiming company after running 2 good races in handicap company. Hanagan and fahey are on fire at the moment, horse also does very well round here with 6 runs and 3 wins and looks well treated on the weights here 1pt win swinbrook 3.45 Southwell Looks an interesteing race with many out of form horses who run much better on all weather and bookies tend to give these away at a nice price Karmest- badly out of form on turf but last seen on southwell in feb when 3rd off a mark of 69 today runs off a mark of 65 last won here easily off a mark of 64 King of beers- ran a much better race back here a week ago is a further 1lb lower and ryan taking a further 2lb off today so should run a good race again 0.25pt e/w karmest 0.25pt e/w king of beers 4.15 Southwell Hits only jude is a prolific horse around here have had 5 runs with 3 wins and most recently 2 seconds last time here in a handicap and isnt raised in handicap for that effort also dropped a class aswell 0.5pt e/w hits only jude 4.45 Southwell Ugenius has been running well recently and is only raised 1lb for a decent 2nd at kempton. Did win off this mark here at southwell in december over this trip 0.5pt e/w ugenius 6.40 Windsor Falcon rock ran a good race when last seen a month ago at kempton and prior to that a good run here. Seems as though the softer ground should suit and only 2lb higher when last seen and hughes riding tonight 0.5pt e/w falcon rock 7.45 Windsor Sister clement still looks the stables main string here with hughes taking the ride. Beat blessed place by 3 1/4l of soft ground and is raised 9lb for that effort but looked as though there was more to come 1pt win sister clement

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Well today was what id call a scrape through day several bets with a few wins!! All those at yarmouth were rubbish, southwell started good with a win on Swinbrook at 13/8 the other 2 outsiders in 3.45 delivered little but king of beers did show some promise. Hits only jude was heavily backed and went of 7/2 so was a 1pt win and could only manage 2nd Ugenius won at 9/2 to show some profit aand falcon rock was again heavily backed to 11/4 so was a 1pt win and did win for once!! Sister clement was given a poor ride from hughes leaving it a little too late frustrating to say the least!! Anyway current bank: 106.33

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Tomorrows bets: 3.45 Beverley Requisite last run was to bad to be true won off a mark of 69 time before last on good to soft ground is only 3lb higher today and when last running off this mark was 3rd on good ground at yarmouth, defenetily performs better on softer ground, also drawn well here today 0.5pt e/w requisite 4,55 Beverley Cant split 2 in this race: Honimiere- Won in super impressive style last time out by 5 lengths and a 6lb penalty should be easy to defy on that performance, loves the good ground aswell Amazing Blue Sky- Is hatrick seeking here today and gets to ride off same mark as last time out any further easing in the ground would suit better! 0.5pt win honimiere 0.25pt win amazing blue sky 2.10 Goodwood Drumfire take the drop into handicap company for first time in a while after running some crediable effort in good listed events, aswell as in group 2 & 3 races 0.25pt e/w drumfire (20/1 bog) 3.25 JJ the jet plane Has won on good ground before in dubai and takes the drop to a group 2 event after some decent efforts over 6f in group 1 events has looked as though 7f would suit after efforts recently 1pt win (10/3 bog) 4.00 Goodwood Monsieur should piss this but is of no value to me so have looked for better value and i like the look of Archers road, has run consistently well all year on all sorts of ground, can also dictate pace or come off the pace. Recently finished 3rd behind monsieur in the newbury sprint. Moore taking the ride is also of interest would maybe suggest a hold up tactic today which i feel could suit well! 0.5pt e/w archers road (14/1 bog) 4.35 Goodwood Drill sergeant ran a very good race at royal ascot off just a 3lb lower mark and can more than cope with the cut, this is also a step down in class from the race he ran at york recently 0.25pt e/w drill sergeant

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Hi Chris, Good luck with those. Can I ask which bookies your bets are on with? I fancy Drumfire too but can only find 16's on it....been tracking the prices for the last 2 hours. Any help is appreciated:ok Also, for future ref, it is better to post the bookies too as well as the prices.

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Fantastic day all in all Beverley first was bit disappointing but second went better with honimiere winning well again at 5/4 amazing blue sky was 3rd Drum fire got my goodwood off to a good start winning at 8/1 but we got 20's last night which was a huge boost, jj was disappointing to say the least, but archers road ran his good solid honest race again attracting money again coming 3rd at 8/1 but we got 14's on him last night also drill sergeant ran a cracker to come 3rd at 14/1 aswell! Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Tomorrows bets: 2.45 Goodwood Xtension won his maiden well round here in impressive style then in his only other run he was runner up behind what looks to be a super horse in canford cliffs 1pt win xtension (7/2 bog bet365) 3.25 Goodwood Lord shanakill looks slowly to coming to form again after a slightly disappointing run in 2000 guineas was then much better in st james palace stakes then went on to win a group1 in france and comes here in fine form, Jim crowley riding again and does seem to go better on good ground rather than fast ground 0.5pt e/w lord shanakill (14/1 bog stanjames) 2.40 Redcar Singora lady loves the fast ground, has been running really well recently won over a mile off a mark of 51 next run he came 3rd off a mark 57 runs off a mark of 54 tonight and puts her back in thick of it again. Prior to last time out she has shaped as though further would suit. 0.5pt e/w singora lady 3.50 Redcar Wouldnt usually bet on a handicap debutant but this just looks to good, applause won with plenty in hand overs todays trip on fast ground. Had showed plenty more promise on other 2 trips on the all weather, the form of the maiden win is a little weak. 1pt win applause 5.00 redcar Lady florence has been in cracking form since comeback, winning twice at brighton on fast ground failed on the all weather then was tried over 7f on turf and only just failed, runs off same mark tonight and back upto a mile should put her back up there 0.5pt e/w lady florence 7.30 Sandown Spring adventure looked capable of a win off this mark last time out when running a little to keen for her own good. Seems to prefer a slight cut in the ground which she should get tonight, moore taking the ride tonight should help hold her up a bit plus last time he rode her she won her maiden! 0.5pt win spring adventure 8.15 Leicester Don pele finally looked to be coming back to form on the easing ground at FFos, so further softness here will suit well having done some decent winning on softer ground. Has won off marks of 84 on fast ground and 79 on soft ground runs off mark of just 68 tonight! 0.5pt e/w don pele

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Thanx mowgli, Well to be honest aint hard to copy my selections into daily threads and i enjoy the daily threads enjoying reading other peoples views ;)!! Xtension seemed out of it till lightning turn of foot and came home winning at 7/2 for us. Lord shanakill ran a solid race but the first 3 home were the market leaders so was 4th and jus out of places! Singora lady won nicely at 5/1 and applause did a marvelous job at 3/1! Lady florence ran a stonker when weakening rapidly spring adventure ran a great race considering it was a 5 runner affair, don pele ran superb at 16s only to finish 4th just out of the places and totally gutting if only 16 had gone to post but hey maybe it would have only finished 5th then who knows lol!! Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Tomorrows bets: 2.45 Goodwood Ialysos the greek freak is back out after a much improved race at sandown on good ground, does have to concede 5lb all round which could be a test buts seems to be at home over 5f on good ground! 0.5pt e/w Ialysos (6/1 bog paddypower) 3.25 Goodwood Was luck enough to be at ascot to see this old boy caracciola race up at royal ascot and won nicely and rightly deserves his first try in a flat group race. Is the oldest here today by a long way, has beaten friston forest recently on level weights 0.5pt e/w caracciola (9/1 bog stanjames) 2.40 Nottingham This is a good looking print here with cape royal taking this last year off a 4lb higher mark. has been showing a return to form aswell recently with a 2nd on soft ground last time out, he loves the testing ground so should cope well. 0.5pt e/w cape royal 3.50 Nottingham Persian peril is one of only 2 with solid form on soft/heavy ground. The other is best prospect but he hasnt showed much lately. Persian was a tidy 3rd at newmarket on good ground and is raised a 1lb for that effort and does run off a career high again today but running into form aswell as having previous form on heavy going. 0.5pt e/w persian peril 7.30 Epsom Support fund ran a cracker round here in a class 4 race and won comfortably. Is raised 4lb for that effort and doesnt look over harsh at all. Is also dropped in class, best performances have come when some cut in the ground. 1pt win support fund 7.15 Musselburgh Secret venue has worked wonders around here recently and completed a hatrick was only just beaten at york last time out and is raised a further 2lb for that but the 3rd from that race has gone on to win and should run a solid race back round here tonight 1pt win secret venue 8.50 Musselburgh Tipped ingleby star up last time she won and has been in fine form lately recently with 2 wins and 2 seconds, should cope better than rocketball with the slightly soft ground here tonight and runs off same mark when 2nd last time out but has g bartley back on board taking a very useful 5lb off and rode him last time he won! 1pt win ingleby star

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Well the week was going too well lol!! Ialysos ran a stinker and looked as though 5lb was a heavy burden to saddle, carraciola ran a great race only to come 4th Cape royal ran ok to finish 2nd at 7/1, persian peril was heavily backed but failed miserably both support fund and secret venue were extremely disappointing but ingleby star ran well to cope with a heavy top weight to win at 7/4 Current bank: 115.79

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Tomorrows bets: 2.45 Goodwood everyman forhimself has been a model of consistency recently and should run a good race here again today with callan on board. Ran off this mark the last 2 times and came second behind the useful fol hollow and jimmy styles, and has won off this mark before 0.5pt e/w everymanforhimself (12/1 bog bet365) 4.00 Goodwood Watched buzzwords maiden win at windsor the other week and it looked a fine horse in the making winning very comfortably and the form is working our reasonably well and good ground seems to suit 0.5pt e/w buzzword (9/1 bog bet365) 3.50 Thirsk Dispol diva seems to be able to perform on most sorts of ground including soft so should cope with that, recents runs seem to see a return to form and dropped a further 1lb and is back on last winning mark 0.5pt e/w dispol diva 4.25 thirsk Sudden impact won in impressive style on soft ground last time out is raised 6lb for that effort which loooks fair, has won off this mark before aswell as runner up 0.5pt e/w sudden impact 8.55 haydock Tom tower ran a cracker round here last time out on soft ground and seems to relish the mile trip. Is raised a further 7lb but looks to be progressing well recently, is drawn well here aswell 0.5pt e/w tom tower 6.25 Newmarket Simon pearce seems to get on well with granary girl and before her last race looked to be coming into some form. Is dropped a further 1lb in handicap and jockey is able to claim 7lb again tonight. Won over CD similar time last year off just a 3lb lower mark and most recent win comes only 1lb lower mark. 0.5pt e/w granary girl 7.30 Newmarket River kirov has run some cracking races over CD recently and was only just beaten off this mark and jockye at yarmouth earlier in the week. Seems to do well round here and is drawn well for a good attack tonight 0.5pt e/w river kirov 7.40 Bath Rumble of thunder won round here in impressive style on soft ground over todays trip. Then went to goodwood and failed miserably hopefully been trained on after a break, gets 6lb off last run aswell as proberts useful 3lb claim so is only 4lb higher when winning well round here. 0.5pt e/w rumble of thunder

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Late night last night and about to start combining so havnt got time to work out yesterdays results not sure when i will be able to catch up on results as off to steward at local agriculture show tomorrow so might not be till tomorrow or monday night sorry guys!! Anyways heres my bets for today: 7.40 Hamilton Dontpaytheferryman struggles to get head in front on the flat but is a decent horse on his day over the jumps, did run a credible 3rd last time out and runs off same mark today but with tylicki claiming a useful 3lb off which could prove valuable, should cope with the ground better than some of the others here 1pt win dontpaytheferryman (3/1 stanjames bog) 3.05 Goodwood Rainbow view does rightly have a lot to prove but maybe has been a little in lucky in running in some races getting bashed about etc. and one is hopeing for a clear run today, also stepped up an extra 2f which could find some her best yet and the ground is of no concern as she likes a good bit of cut and would maybe even benefit from a bit more! 0.5pt e/w rainbow view (9/2 1/4odds paddypower) 3.20 Newmarket Broomielaw could run a very big race at a big price if is fully race fit after being off for 2 years, showed plenty of likeable attitude in winning her maiden at doncaster the form from her maiden races is a little weak at times but looks promising in others and could be well handicapped, but on the other hand laheeb won very comfortably last time out round here over todays trip on a bit softer ground than what is here today is raised a further 6lb today and plenty of improvement likely 0.25pt e/w broomielaw 14/1 (bog stanjames 2pt win lahhaheb (10/11 paddypower bog) 5.05 Newmarket Another brilliant looking handicap with 2 really in form horses in the shape of sir boss and run for edes. Sir boss won in a likeable attitude last time out by 5lengths but is subsequently raised 11lb which could be a little harsh is also stepped up in class today. I prefer run for edes is proven at this level and handicapper seems to have missed something here from what i can see, He won off a mark of 70 at epsom on good ground then went to a classy affair at ascot and was well beaten ran off a mark of 78 is dropped sharply back to 74 today for that and jack dean is riding again taking a further 3lb off and he has ridden him well in the past with a win and a third so no worry there! 1.5pt win run for edes 11/4 (paddypower bog) 2.05 Doncaster la cpariosa comes here in mighty fine form having only just got beaten in a photo finish to hotham last sunday and gets to run off the same mark here today, has always done her best running on the all weather but looks as though she could be coming to the turf aswell 2pt win la capriosa 2.55 Thirsk Kildare sun is better than he showed in his last race having been a model of consistency prior to that off this mark having finished 3rd in a competetive looking race at doncaster and having finished 2 seconds at this level prior to that jamie kyne back on board today and claiming his useful 5lb has proved before like the good ground last win came on the all weather off a mark of 67 0.5pt e/w kildare sun 9/1 (vcbet bog) 4.40 Thirsk Bit of a follower of this horse squirtle especially after landing me some good wins at times. Had looked a tad disappointing at yarmouth in the week and is capable of better after a decent win at warwick is only 3lb higher but has pickard claiming 5lb off today putting him below his last winning mark is also drawn really well here in stall 1 where there seems to be unusual draw bias in a long race! 0.5pt e/w squirtle (12/1 stanjames bog)

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Just a couple quick ones for tomorrow 4.05 Chester Glen riding looks a massive price especially since he has proven form on this softsih ground aswell as course form. This is a big step up in class but should be much better now back at a mile 0.5pt e/w glenriding 14/1 (bog bet365) 3.55 Newbury Wotashirtful looks another that is a far big price after an attempt in a valuable handicap failed. Had been threatening before at this level, runs off same mark when 2nd in a 9k handicap at epsom. Has also got some form on softer ground before! 0.5pt e/w wotashirtful 10/1 (bet365 bog)

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Couple for tonight will try and get caught up on results tonight 7.00 windsor Sister clement ran a cracker last week but hughesy gave it an awful ride holding it up just a little too long which lost her the race massively but only to go down by head and gets to run off the same mark tonight and surely hughes has learnt his lesson. Seems to cope with most types of ground and should be there tonight in front lol!! 1pt win sister clement 13/8 (bet365 bog) 8.30 windsor Looks a brilliant finale here but cape royal has been running consistently well recently and is only 2lb higher when last winning, probably would have preferred more cut and j dean is taking a useful 3lb off also has a plum draw in stall 16 0.5pt e/w win cape royal (8/1 bet365 bog)

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Right have caught up on results: Friday: buzzword was 2nd at 9/1 1/4 odds for goodwood, sudden impact was first at 7/1 and rumble of thunder was 2nd at 8/1 Bank after friday: 115.92 Saturday: Rainbow view was heavily backed but we got 9/2 e/w at 1/4 odds so showed small profit broomielaw ran a cracker after a lengthy lay off winning at 14/1 for us and la capriosa won at 10/11 So just a small loss in total on saturday Bank after saturday: 115.5 Both sunday and monday were small days for me due to time and both provided no winners So current bank stands at: 111.5pts

Re: Chris34's 2009 Flat Tip Thread Tomorrows bets: 3.10 Chepstow Farmers wish ran a cracker round here a week or so ago in a maiden over 6f on soft ground so should cope well again today. Form of his maidens ins reasonable and could be well treated today, mcdonald takes the ride again. 0.5pt win farmers wish 4.40 Chepstow Jeninsky was maybe needing a run time before last when a little disappointing but looked much better last time out when beating happy anniversary by over a length on soft ground so has proved can cope with todays conditions. Is raised 5lb for that effort if can follow up would be treated well. 0.5pt e/w jeninsky (6/1 bog bet365) 3.20 Catterick Saga de tercey, i tipped this last time out and was heavily backed only to be beaten by a length when ridden in a ladies rider handicap, Callan taking the ride today in a bit more of a level playing field. Seems to enjoy the fast ground. 1pt win saga de tercey 3.50 Catterick Mandalay king, looks as though the handicapper is going easy on this horse, won fairly reasonably in a much classier event last time out at york and is only raised 2lb for that length win. Mcdonald seems to be doing well with this horse and glad to see him taking the ride again 1pt win mandalay king
