Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread Atlast a nice winner in with white deer was backed into 2nd fav at 11/2 so pleased with the 12/1 we took Will work out current bank in a few! Got a couple today: 5.10 Pontefract Billybeetroot is a bit of a frustrating one to follow but has shown some profit and I aint gonna stop today! Ran yesterday under a 7lb claimer jockey and was 4th over 5f, runs of same mark today but with maybe a bit more useful claimer on board claimer 3lb, Also last time he ran 2 races in 2 days he won and defenetily seems to do better over 6f! Hoping price doesnt colapse anymore! 0.5pt e/w billybeetroot (7/1 stanjames BOG) 4.10 ponte Dream in blue has been running consistently well on the flat in maidens without getting his head in front step up in maybe a little tough but is fit from running over hurdles over 20/24f may have more to show now. Super in form holland riding! 0.5pt e/w dream in blue (20/1 VC BOG)

Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread I love sunday nights lol no racing to watch just form to go through so got plenty of bets for tomorrow! 2.45 lingfield Singleb, tipped him a few weeks back when he was non runner, said then that when he was last out he ran on very strongly but not enough to have a show, back on the AW where he does a huge amount of winning, and 7f is defenetily the trip for him wouldnt be surprised to see him run a big race 0.5pt e/w singleb (14/1 bet365 BOG) 3.15 lingfield Nippy looking sprint here with chjimes getting my vote Hughes on board although 7lb higher than last winning he is very much a course specialist having run here 12 times winning 6 and over this trip 3 times here winning all 3! 0.5pt e/w chjimes (7/1 bet365 bog) 3.30 wolverhampton Pipers piping is a course and distance winner in a claimer, is far from totally disgraced in todays weights after running a decent looking handicap race at brighton back on the all weather where he really seems to be at home 0.5pt e/w pipers piping 4.30 wolverhampton Global village looks very competitive at this handicap mark after running a very close second at yarmouth recently in a 7f handicap drop back to 6f today looks a strong change and recieves no rise in weights for that decent run, W A Carson takes the ride again and seems to get on with him and also claiming useful 5lb has only ridden on AW once on hs debut so be interesting to see how he takes to wolverhampton! 0.5pt e/w global village 5.30 wolverhampton Yourlikemefrank is making his comeback after a small lay off today, was knocking on the door recently running 2 3rds at this track and over todays distance, dropped a 1lb on those efforts but is running out of the handicap today which is a shame would have been nice to have seem him in something more in his league but he may be capable especially with a very much inform and useful claimer jockey claiming 5lb! 1pt e/w yourlikemefrank 9.10 windsor Morning sir alan finally lost his maiden tag last week at folkestone winning by 1 1/2l to time machine who boosted that form when winning a maiden at newmarket the other night. Probably does need to prove a bit back in handicap company but spirits sure to be high and worth an e/w punt 0.5pt e/w mornin sir alan

Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread Will work out todays results and current bank once last race ran but here are my bets for tomorrow! 3.00 Brighton Lady Florence was unlucky last time out in unfortunately meeting a very fine horse in mountain cat, runs off same mark today and shaped as if the step up in trip to 1m would suit. Also ran one of his best races here last year!

0.5pt e/w lady Florence 6.20 Newbury Khanjar is of interest here horse been off the track for nearly 2 years so obvious worry of fitness but was running consistently well on the all weather with todays claiming jockey on board, also runs off a career low handicap mark today which looks appealing after some of his performances off much higher marks, if fully fit could run a big race at a big price.

0.25pt e/w Khanjar

8.30 Newbury Onemix was hugely disappointing last time out but has been dropped 3lb for that poor effort and should be on a more fairer mark, also the return to much faster ground could suit.

0.5pt e/w onemix (if smaller than 5/1 1pt win)

9.00 Newbury Don pele has been unfortunate of late but was looking strong when finishing second in a 6f handicap, dropped to 5f which could be a positive move but has done his best running over 6f, runs off same mark but useful claimer claiming a very useful 3lb, has won at this course before and off higher marks than this but not for a while.

0.5pt e/w don pele

Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread Unfortunately singleb didnt run any better race back on sand, defenetily needs a few pound from handicapper now I think or trip back in claimers. Chjimes was very disapointing again. Pipers piping again ran a complete shocker. Global village was very much over priced in my tissue prices and went off as 6/4 fav and wont count in calculations although ran a decent race but not at the price he went off at. Yourlikemefrank was unlucky only to be beaten by a neck into 4th. Morning sir alan was like the rest well beaten into 5th!! Unfortunately it was one of those days lol! Current bank AFTER tomorrows bets: 90.39

Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread 3.05 Carlisle Shadowtime has bee running consistently well enough to land this recently, having finished 2nd 3rd and 2nd behind intersky charm who is carrying a 6lb penalty which could just be enough to put shadowtime in front today, definitely needs the faster ground which could come just right in time.

0.5pt e/w shadowtime

Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread Will work out current bank in a little while ;) 8.50 kempton 2 Outsiders in this race take my eye, Apex is making a come back after 600+ days off so of course fitness has to be taken on trust, has won off much higher ratings than todays and with amy on board claiming 5lb could be useful, is a course and distance winner and very useful on the all weather. The other i see who has potential of a big race is Svindal Spencer booked and he rode him to last victory last time out was disappointing on slightly slow turf, now back on all weather where he is defenetily stronger! 0.5pt e/w Svindal 0.25pt e/w Apex

Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread 3.30 Newcastle Handicap Class 2 1Mile Str Flipando hasnt been hitting the nail recently but is dropped another 1lb in handicap and has useful claimer claiming 3lb for the first time which puts him on a mark of 92 theorotically, he last looked impressive back at the start of the turf season at doncaster in the lincoln, off a mark 98, if being able to recapture some of that sparkle could go well, is also a CD winner after winning this event last year. The other that takes my fancy to run a big race is Lady Rangali running off the same mark of 83 which she has been running off the past 4 races where she has finished 2733 and her penultimate start was in a class 1 listed event has a claimer jockey claiming 5lb which could prove useful. Charlie tipple is the obvious threat to all of these likely to try and make all again, last time out he did get caught but was backed heavily so there is some thought of a sudden change of form, turned out quickly again! 0.5pt e/w flipando 11/1 0.5pt e/w land rangali 12/1 1pt win Charlie tipple 5/1 All paddy power BOG

Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread 2.45 Ponte Singora lady finally got off the mark over course and distance last week, seems to thrive on the fast ground and has a great draw, showed real potential to over turn the 6lb penalty she is shouldered with today. 2pt win singora lady 3.45 Ponte I am not one for backing things without to much form, but the maiden which Sioux rising won recently is working out in a mighty fine way at that win came at this track aswell, this is a tougher ask as many of these are in fantastic form but if more improvement can be found from that maiden win would have great shout, can cope with a slight cut in the ground aswell it seems 0.5pt win sioux rising 4.15 Ponte Screaming brave is hatrick seeking here today runs off same mark as last time, does recieve a step up in class today but Durcan taking the ride yet again and the horse looked to have plenty of improvement left, has won on fast ground aswell as ground with a slight cut in it! 1pt e/w screaming break 3.00 wolverhampton Harry up is the highest rated on official figures in this seller and is super consistent round this track and in this lowly grade, has sadly not got best draw but against some of these donkeys cant see it being a massive problem. 1pt win harry up 7.25 Musselburgh Rocketball is a recent CD winner in an app handicap is raised 2lb for that effort but that is offset by the same rider here tonight claiming 5lb this time which should put him in the thick of things again. 0.5pt e/w rocketball 8.10 Windsor Pelham crescent looked in the grips of the handicap last time out but the ground had a lot more cut in it than he had recently encountered when clocking up a hatrick, I honestly think he could bounce back on this faster ground which should suit him much better!! 0.5pt e/w pelham crescent

Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread Get in one of the best days this thread has had!! Sadly singora lady did lose :(! But next bet Sioux won at 15/2! Next one was placed at 7/1 Harry up was a non runner. Tonight rocketball did us proud winning at 6/1 and the last pelham cescent was placed 3rd at 12/1 So total returned: 14.45 Current bank: 96.72

Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread Tomorrows: 4.30 Brighton Penang cinta is a recent CD winner here last time out a week ago. Does have to carry the usual 6lb penalty but is only 5lb higher due to his handicap mark lowered a 1lb. Loves the fast ground that this track is renowned for! 1pt win Penang cinta 5.00 Brighton Perfect class has been knocking on door recently off this mark, today a useful claimer takes off 3lb which could prove very valuabe also dropped in class today and can cope with this fast ground. 1pt e/w perfect class (11/2 Sportingbet) 7.30 Thirsk Violent velocity landed a massive gamble at the weekend with a very impressive ride under what looks to be a very useful claimer jockey, takes the ride again tonight. Does carry the usual 6lb penalty but has won off higher mark than that of tonights and the quick turnout is a clue when looking at his form (the handicap mark had been seriously dropped recently to a very lowly mark obviousbly putting him back on a very competitive mark the handicapper is obviously gonna smack him fairly hard after the sudden change off form so the wuick turnout under a penalty is a massive clue in my opinion) Has won at this course before aswell! 2pt win Violent Velocity 9.00 Thirsk Le toreador looked much better at this level last time out for a win, only recieves a 1lb rise in handicap which looks mighty leniant, the fastish ground should suit drawed in the middle so can go with the pace! 1pt win le toreador

Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread Tomorrows bets: 5.00 Catterick Bijou dan loves this track having 6 runs and winning 2 of those, dropped 2f today which looks a positive move after last time out not really getting home, handicap mark is dropped 1lb and he has won of similar marks of todays!! 0.5pt e/w bijou dan 6.20 Kempton Love you louis looked to really enjoy this track when winning here making all! Hasnt been at home elsewhere or off his new handicap mark, but dropped back to winning mark today and back at the course he won at looks positive. 0.5pt e/w love you louis 8.20 Ursis is a classy sort on NH circuit rated 128 over hurdles and winning his most recent effort over hurdles, loves soft ground so of course the all weather surface should suit well, has been running very well on turf flat aswell off this mark and wouldnt need to improve much to land this 0.5pt e/w ursis (8/1 paddypower BOG) 8.50 Good buy dubai is the only CD winner in this contest let alone the alone the only course winner which I feel is important round kempton. Last time he visited here he won off a mark of 59 only 1lb higher and Catlin taking the ride! 0.5pt e/w good buy dubai

Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread

that one saved you then Chris in the last! :clapcrimea drfiting from 5/4 to 11/4 i assume it was the ground ?
Yeah ground would be considered a concern BUT I am always very skeptical about backing anything in handicaps having only run once how can it be realistically rated, you dont see many go in like that the one that does come to mind is Lowther recently though so of course their are exceptions lol would be interest if anyone had stats on horses that won their first maiden race then went straight into handicap company might be worth some research for some good laying ;)!!

I apply this rule even to the big trainers whose horses often come into the race at a falsely short price. Always gives plenty of EW value.

Not sure it was the ground, bowles. I laid Crimea. I thought it was significantly over-rated, and it was a pretty competitive handicap. The low price that was available most of the day was just irrational.

Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread Tomorrows bets: 3.15 Haydock Catalyn bay ran an impressive second over course and distance last time out, runs off the same mark today with first time visor worn if having desired affect and faster ground suiting should have strong claims. 0.5pt e/w catalyn bay (6/1 bet365 BOG) 3.40 Haydock Flipando finally looked back to best at newcastle last time out but left his run a little to late to finish 2nd in a class 2 event which looked highly competitve dropped into class 3 today and runs off just a 2lb higher mark today, faster ground will suit well 1pt win flipando (4/1 paddypower bog) 7.25 Epsom Ivory lace is super consistent off his current mark of 70 having come 3rd on last 3 attempts in competitve affairs. The ground with a small cut in it will suit so any rain would be a plus 0.5pt e/w ivory lace (8/1 bet365 BOG) 8.40 Newbury My best bet looked to finally capture some of his all weather form last time out runs off some mark but with a useful 5lb claimer on board aswell which could prove invaluable, and has also ridden him to his last win on the all weather! 0.5pt e/w my best bet 7.45 Redcar Now im not one for backing first time out in handicaps but nurseries give a great opportunity for younger horses to be competitive hopefully at an even keel but it looks as Military Call has got in here on a very low mark especially on his 2nd outing and I just cant overlook him! 0.5pt e/w military call Good luck guys ;)

Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread Will work out todays returns in a few but here is my bets for tomorrow! And what a mad day of racing tomorrow has taken hours to trawl through lol!! 6.20 Beverley General tufto won last here of a mark only 1lb lower, was maybe slightly below par next time out when carryng a 6lb penalty and was also stepped up in trip and really didnt seem to get the trip, dropped back down today so should give a good run 0.5pt e/w general tufto 2.00 Doncaster Society venue looked impressive at newcastle last week when trying to make all, runs off same mark today, stepping up in trip which i consider as interesting as once he has ran this race he will be raised 5lb in handicap on a new mark so you would think that connections want his best run to come out of this race on his old mark before being raised so they obviously think he has a chance at this trip aswell! 1pt win society venue 4.10 Newcastle Soccer jackpot ran in a classy race at Ascot, dropped massively in class tonight back to where he was doing so well and winning frequently. 0.5pt e/w soccer jackpot 4.45 Doncaster Singleb is a strong performer in this lowly grade and looks wel treated in the weights today and looks as if some improvement was made last time out 0.5pt e/w singleb 8.15 Haydock Timocracy was disappointing last time out over 12f dropped back to his recent winning distance of 10f is 4lbs higher than he was on that win but Kyne takes off a useful 5lb off! 0.5pt e/w timocracy 7.35 Salisbury Suzi spends ran an ok 3rd in a class 2 event dropped a 1lb for that effort and dropped into a class 4 event, any easing in the ground will help massively. 0.5pt e/w suzi spends 8.40 Salisbury Billy beetroot is being kept busy this summer and been super consistent ran a decent second at wolverhampton this week which would suggest easing in the ground ill help, needs to be up with the pace 0.5pt e/w billy beetroot

Re: Chris34's *NEW* Tip Thread Todays results: Catalyn bay was a non runner, flipando was a good second after load of non runners but no good for us! Ivory lace was unplaced sadly, mybestbet was a dead heat 2nd @ 7/1 and military call was proved right and won on a very low mark @ 4/1 Total staked: 4 Total Returned: 4.6 So another small profit puts current bank at: 98.13
