superfoo
Re: boxing betting thread Yeah man Ive read that about the tv rights. superfoo
Re: boxing betting thread Seen touches of Lara but imo Brewer is a decent step up and am looking at the over punt which I will likely go with. Certainly not playing 1/5! As for Amokoa I know Jack about him and I know how you view these "club fighters" (Murats Ghanan opponent) but I think at times they can be dangerous and tend to steer clear, either way its a minimal value bet that I will post. By the way GH I think Ive got your alias on boxrec;):unsure- may be wrong though! It seems ok but seems a bit cliquey on there and only signed up a month or so ago, what do you think? superfoo
Re: boxing betting thread Stacks of fghts this weekend - surely someone must fancy something. Last year I dont know if I was too selective and Ive missed a couple already this year, really in a bit of a quandry about which way to go:unsure On another note Im sure I saw Curtis Stevens at 7/5 today or yesterday but when I check now he is best priced 1/2 - have I missed something or slightly hallucinating? Real tough to call but fight of the weekend for me!
Greenhoff
Re: boxing betting thread Stevens has flip-flopped at sportingbet.:eek i thought i was seeing things too. Both can be dropped heavy so a 50/50 for me, with brinkley having the edge in ring craftyness if things are'nt going his way. Can make a fight ugly when needed, whilst stevens is a slugger full stop. Brinkley ko @ 8.0 intersts me. Amokoa, i'd wait till photo's are out at the least. If he has any clottey/azumah in his bloodline;) this could be a classic mugging at a huge price. Shit resume, but.... If Mcallister takes him out in 3, it'd be the classic 'hindsight' bet, but he does'nt convince me. Murray wore him down with his relentless pressure, NO-ONE knows owt about Amokoa, so backing Mc because of a crap record is betting blind. If the photo's show something then maybe? will be on lara, manfredo , sylvestor as a treble mate.

slider24
Re: boxing betting thread Amaoka looks like absolutely huge for the weight, maybe pushing 5'11 and looking pretty ripped as well. May steer clear of this one.
superfoo
Re: boxing betting thread Good luck with Sylevester - I missed my overs on Manfredo and Lara:( May do a write up on Sylvester for points if I have and have posted Magee/Larsen in new thread. kevshat
Re: boxing betting thread It's a bit daft having 2 threads open with posts on the same fights so I'll close this one and we'll turn the other one into a 2010 boxing thread.
