Re: NH Novice Hurdlers 230 Exe: 91 Ace High, 89 Knighton Combe, 88 Spock Preview Just the one race today and with Rif and Andy Handy withdrawn already the field is robbed of two live chances in the race. However, we still have a competative event on our hands and the new fav is Lundy Sky, he won very easily here last time, he stays well and is best of those carrying penalties. Ace High comes back to hurdling after a couple of tries over fences, he steps up in trip and needs to improve. Knighton Combe is interesting, ran in the military events at Sandown over fences and now comes back to hurdling, he did run ok on last try when third and has ability. 230 Exe: Lundy Sky 2pts (7/4 Bet365)

Re: NH Novice Hurdlers 230 Ain: 124 Zarkandar, 119 Grandouet, 119 Houblon Des Obeaux 220 Her: 86 Dont Turn Bach, 81 Storm Survivor, 72 Koup De Kanon 255 Her: 97 Robin Will, 93 Allerford Jack, 90 Final Flyer Preview; Sublime to the rediculous today with the Grade 1 race at Aintree and two very ordinary maiden hurdles at Hereford. First the minor races; the 220 is an awful contest, favourite Dont Turn Bach has a good second to Our Mick in the book and that will do for me, wears a tongue tie today so maybe that can improve him too. The later race is a bit better and a few in with a chance. Robin Will and Allerford Jack have bits and pieces of form that would be good enough but maybe McCains Cygnet can get his act together and fulfill the promise of his Catterick run. At Aintree we have the Triumph Hurdle part 2, 5 of those that ran at Cheltenham meet again and its hard to see how any of them can overturn the form with Zarkandar, in fact there is more in his favour here so should conform the form. I think Local Hero will be suited by the track and may run well at a big price. Bets; 230 Ain: 4pts Zarkandar Evens (VCBet)

Re: NH Novice Hurdlers 200 Ain: 114 Oilily, 111 Sire De Grugy, 111 Desert Cry, 111 Perfect Smile 415 Ain: 122 Sparky May, 117 Mossley, 114 Court In Motion 210 Fon: 100 American Ladie, 95 Good Falou, 93 Lucys Perfect Preview; The mares race at Fontwell only has a few runners and American Ladie should finally get off the mark after several placed efforts, if Good Falou can come back to form she could be a danger. At Aintree we have two cracking races, the first looks quite open but I think Sire De Grugy is still on the upgrade and missed Cheltenham for this. Desert Cry and A Media Luz could be the ones to trouble the selection. The 3 mile race is fascinating with Mossley and Court In Motion taking on the mare Sparky May, she has done nothing wrong and will like this trip better than when she faced Quevaga at the festival. I think Court In Motion will suit this track and cant see him out the first three. Bets; 200 Ain: Sire De Grugy 3pts EW (5/1 Betfred) 415 Ain: Court In Motion 1pt EW (8/1 Bet365)

Re: NH Novice Hurdlers 125 Ban: 99 Tullyraine, 91 Areuwitmenow, 80 Amroth Bay 205 Chp: 98 Richmond, 92 Pret A Thou, 83 Maadraa 145 Ain: 116 Sam Winner, 116 Spirit Son, 115 Bold Sir Brian, 114 Cue Card Preview: At Bangor it looks a two horse race with Tullyraine and Areuwitmenow, the former has the best overall form and ran below par last time in the soft ground, this should suit him much better. Areuwitmenow is improving and was well backed last time when second at Warwick. Over at Chepstow Richmond looks to have found a good opportunity to pen his account, he was second in a handicap last time out. Pret A Thou will go off from the front and make it a test and wont be far away and if there is an improver ready to take them on it could well be Maadraa. At Aintree we have another cracker of a race, Sam Winner, Spirit Son, Cue Card, Rock On Ruby and Recession Proof all represent the top novice form this season and this trip will sort them out. I still like Cue Card although he was beaten at the festival, he looks a classy type and will like the extra disatance. Rock On Ruby may be the one to fear. Bets; 145 Ain: Cue Card 3pts (3/1 PP)

Re: NH Novice Hurdlers 320 Plu: 91 Mr Muddle, 84 Fennis Ted, 78 Rebel High 230 Hex: 96 Silent Snow, 91 Along Came Rosie, 90 Alpha One 300 Hex: 96 Mr Supreme, 92 Scriptwriter, 91 Masterful Act 540 Ffos Las No Ratings Preview; At Plumpton Mr Muddle has been dropped a couple of grades and should get back to winning ways here, he should lead these and will be hard to catch. Two races at Hexham and the first is a puzzle, the firming of the ground wont suit many of these and maybe Alpha One can improve again after a decent run last time. Mister Wall Street may like the ground and has possibilities. The second division is more straight forward with Scriptwriter looking to follow up his win last time, he can be a bit inconsistant but certainly has the ability to beat these. Masterful Act could be the danger on his Huntingdon run. No Bet

Re: NH Novice Hurdlers 545 Taun: 91 Vertige Dore, 88 Paddy Partridge, 79 Camden Society 530 Towc: 94 Balerina, 92 Sara's Smile, 80 Bow To No One Preview; In to night racing now and the ground is firming up which means we have poor fields, at Towcester we have a mares race and only two with any form to speak of, Sara's Smile won last time but i'm not sure this track will suit as much and prefer Balerina, her win at Kempton reads well and should go close. The danger may be Pipe's debutant who has been heavily backed all morning, AP takes the ride on Buisnessmoney Judi, only rated 65 on the flat so it's a puzzle as to why she is fancied so much? At Taunton Vertige Dore only has Paddy Partridge to beat and he struggled last time and was flattered by his second. The Nicholls runner should win again at these weights. No Bet

Re: NH Novice Hurdlers 210 Chl: 109 Global Power, 105 Habbie Simpson, 99 Bold Addition 645 Sth: 90 Laterly, 88 Get It On, 83 Theredballoon 715 Sth: 89 Accordingtoeileen, 85 Alpine Breeze, 54 Lilac Belle Preview; The race at Cheltenham obviously stands out as the best of the day and Habbie Simpson has been ultra consistent this season, winning two and placed in top class company, ran below par in the Neptune but this his his grade. Global Power is the danger on his good fourth at Sandown and likes the better ground conditions. At Southwell we have two very ordinary races and two match ups, Get It On has Laterly to beat in the first, he carries a lot of weight but could be good enough to beat his rival who's stable are having a poor time of it of late. The last race should go to Alpine Breeze and Accordingtoeileen is the only danger on the book. No Bet

Re: NH Novice Hurdlers 210 Chl: 108 Third Intention, 107 Occaisonally Yours, 96 Current Event 555 Seg: 90 Odins Raven, 89 Strathcal, 84 Rear Admiral Preview One race at each meeting and the gulf in class between them is massive, at Cheltenham Third Intention should win on form, he has been in with the top boys all year and the only worry is that he was a slight disappointment in the Triumph and a hard season may be starting to tell. The Nicholls horse Current Event is interesting and could be very useful, he won his novice at Newbury very easily and is a fresh horse and sure be involved as theres plenty of scope for improvement. At Sedgefield its a 4 horse race and Strathcal is fav after his third at MRasen, that form looks soild enough in this grade. Odins Raven was third in a poor race and needs to improve again here. Rear Admiral showed enough on his debut to think he can pick up a poor race while Its A Mans World made good late progress on his debut and is not out of it. Bet; 5.55 Seg Strathcal 2pts (7/4 VCBet)

Re: NH Novice Hurdlers 145 Ayr: 94 Mason Hindmarsh, 94 Miereveld, 92 Tonic Mellysse 440 Chp: 91 Awesome Freddie, 90 Lion On The Prowl, 88 Saffron Lord 755 Chp: 98 Behindclosedoors, 95 Fontano, 66 Alwaysonthemove Preview One race at Ayr which is a juvenile event and the Nicholls horse Tonic Mellysse is big odds on after his 4th to Zarkandar on his debut in this country, he was beaten a fair way but commands respect in this grade. Mason Hindmarsh was impressive on his debut but was well behind Sam Winner next time out but should be therabouts. At Chepstow the first race is between Awesome Freddie and Lion On The Prowl, the former was fourth in a handicap at Doncaster last time and is rated 123 which means there shouldnt be much between the front two here as Lion On The Prowl was beaten by Basford Bob in a photo last time who is rated the same. The last race is another two horse race and Fontano is odds on and his second to Current Event was exactly franked yesterday. Behindclosedoors is the alternative but was beaten miles last time. Charlie Egerton runs a debutant and that could be the danger to all. Bet; 440 Chp: Awesome Freddie 2pts (11/4 Hills)

Re: NH Novice Hurdlers 230 Exe: 90 Jewellery, 88 Rhyton, 86 Rolanta 410 Tow: 93 Lifestyle, 85 Omokoroa, 85 Red Whisper Preview; A couple of non events today really, Lifestyle should follow up her win last week, the opponents are pretty average and need to find something to get involved, maybe Omokoroa is the one for the forecast. The seller at Exeter is dire, Jewellery has one peice of form that entitles her to go close but you cant rely on any of these to reproduce their form. *Just one week left of the 2011 jumps season which ends at Sandown on Saturday, just 7 meetings left and the novice races are winding down, will start on a new project from the beginning of May as this thread has now run its course.

Re: NH Novice Hurdlers 220 Fon: 94 Raduis Bleu, 93 Allerford Jack, 91 Camden 420 Fon: 99 Sawpit Solitaire, 97 Midnight Macarena, 97 Sorcillera Preview; The first race at Fontwell is interesting and three have a chance, Raduis Bleu has looked a little one paced so this trip may be the answer. Allerford Jack ran flat last time but previously showed fair form, he too tries this trip for the first time, both look like this is a last resort so it may pay to side with the proven Camden, he's been up against it recently but this looks like a drop in class to me. The mares race is wide open with many chances on bits and pieces of form, Sorcillera has promised to be decent and may be the answer in a tricky affair. Bet 220 Fon: Camden 2pts (3/1 Bet365)

Re: NH Novice Hurdlers

103 Thumbs Up, 96 Thoroughly Red, 86 Shiwawa Interesting race, we have the proven form of the odds on fav Thumbs Up against two horses in Shiwawa and Coin Of The Realm who you feel will improve a lot on what they have shown so far. The outsider Thoroughly Red seems to have been ignored in the betting and could run well at a big price. The ground has gone Gd/Sft which wont inconvenience the fav so looks the solid option.
Great achievements buddy... Best of Luck for the next... Keep it up- good Effort :drums:gimme:welcome

Re: NH Novice Hurdlers Round Up tomorrow; 220 Her: 96 Countess Susy, 94 Sizing Ireland, 65 Prime Design Preview; Odds on fav Sizing Ireland has been a disappointment and wouldnt want to be wading in at silly prices, like the second fav Countess Susy, she ran quite well last time and looks a bet to nothing here. Bet: 220 Her: Countess Susy 1pt EW (5/1 Hills)

Re: NH Novice Hurdlers 210 Win: 97 Be Kind, 96 Miss Overdrive, 86 Little Fee 320 Lud: 96 Bottman, 94 Buck Mulligan Preview; Oh dear, a two horse race at Ludlow! For the record Bottman's run at Cheltenham was a good effort and should see off Buck Mulligan who's no mug either. At Wincanton it may as well be a two horse race as the odds on fav Miss Overdrive has only one realistic opponent in Be Kind who may have been flattered last time when finishing second in a slowly run race. No Bet
