Romagnoli, Postiga, Rochemback are out through injury, whilst coach Paulo Bento chose to rest Liedson for the upcoming domestic matches. 2 junior players have been called in for the Munich trip. I would stay out of the match tbh, though I wouldn't be surprised to see Bayern winning again. Portuguese sides have an awful record against German opposition (national side included) and I'm not sure if Sporting are more interested in this match than Bayern.

Re: CL - Tuesday 10th of March personally , i think about the 2 spanish sides , now i know liverpool always raise there game in the champions league , but real will not go down without a fight plus liverpool have been a bit iffy at home this season soo it wouldnt surprise me if real get a result there , also villereal are a tad short priced , they are a good side but panthanikos will not make that easy for them but villereal sure have to much for these .

Panathanaikos looked good in the last game and at home in front of their fans they'll do everything to beat a Villareal that hasn't been looking good for the last month or so. Especially their defence has been shaky. I think that Sporting will go to Munchen unmotivated and that Munchen will do their best at home for the fans. I think the odds on a Chelsea win away against juve looks really good, the only reason I'll play them. But it can probably go either way, although I see Chelsea as the better team. In Liverpool it's hard to say. The last game in Madrid could've gone either way really. To me Liverpool were lucky, nothing else. I think that Real is the better team, and I think that if not a win, they'll get a tie. 1-1 maybe? A combo of these four (the x2 in liv/real) gives 25 times the money on betfair, I'm betting on that.

Liverpool being able to play on the counter at home is pretty intimidating me thinks for any opp manager... looks like Benayoun and Riera are out which poses issues for wing positions however I dont have too many issues with Babel and Kuyt with Alonso Gerrard and Mach locking up the middle and really that is the key isn't it.... Liverpool is used to shutting down teams at high pace and they shouldn't have too many issues here again.... HT draw again seems the option as it has been for Liverpool this season (Including first leg).... whatever the result Madrid can't afford to concede as then they may get opened up on counter way too much also likelyhood of Torres not starting means we may see a very cautious first half... Skybets 2.2 on it is a bit of a joke and cannot be missed.... I will be putting 0.2 on Liverpool -1 HC @ 5... Madrid Leaky defense could break at any time and they may need to go for it.... it is very much speculative however it somewhat covers my original bet and definately provides opportunity for a scoop... though I will probably wait to place that one untill right before KO...

Re: CL - Tuesday 10th of March is time to make some money i guess Panathinaikos v Villareal best betting option this one imo... i have to say that i rate villareal a "speed ahead" team than panathinaikos during first leg clash, villareal missed many chances to take the lead, because this is happening sometimes in football-last saturday barcelona missed 10 clear chances to increase the score, even more, but still final result 2-0, ball refusing to go into the net- all of a sudden, panathinaikos took the lead, and then again villareal attacked massively, in a cataclysmic way, only to equalise the match though i think we will see rather similar game scenario; panathinaikos to defend with 10 men, just targeting the goalles draw, which gives the ticket for the next round for athenian team but guys as we say here, "goose doesnt fly every day" i mean is impossible for villareal not to score against this side, spanish team is a class above for sure, and without any doubt my pick is : Panathinaikos v Villareal X2 double chance pick 2 : Villareal to qualify @2.12 good luck :dude

Re: CL - Tuesday 10th of March I think that Panathinaikos may look rather "boring" when play, but all in all during all this Champions League season they were in real troubles only in Cyprus against Anorthosis, and they managed to qualifying winning also away in Milano against Inter, this means that Panathinaikos is a very cynic (I hope this is the good translation) team, and can be always dangerous. Gotta also add that they can be fine with a goalless draw, and gotta consider how this could effect the match. If this match was the first leg I would have certainly bet on home win, but since the situation here is different I will take more hours to think on this. Also, I have to look at injuries situation, are there any last minute news? Thanks in advance.

Lissabon will rest some players, especially Liedson's absence will effect their ofense. I think we have here really a good chance to see Bayern clean sheet this time, cos this guy IS a really good goalkeeper and no clown like Rensing. Hey Skunk! Thanks for commenting on my post. In response I will say the following: 1. I essentially only place 10/10 stakes on a bet. My position is that I don't place a bet unless I feel confident about it. If I have any doubts I don't get into it. So 3/10, 4/10, 5/10, etc. really doesn't make sense to me. Why make a bet if you are not confident about it? Yes, I will reduce stakes on a a long shot, but the posted tips are not really long shots. 2. In both the Panathinaikos - Villarreal and Juventus - Chelsea matches I think that Villarreal and Chelsea are the better teams and the potential dynamics of the game given the teams and the results of the first match will cause the result to end in favour of my choices. If Panathinaikos defends I don't believe they can shut down Villarreal. If Villarreal score first I think the hosts may fall apart. If Panathinaikos attempts to go forward I think they will be seriously punished by a faster and more skillful Villarreal side. Juventus MUST play to score given the result of the first match and I think they will leave too many spaces for Chelsea who certainly has enough quality to score a goal or two on a much slower and less physical team like Juventus. I also don't really think Juventus can penetrate Chelsea's defense for 2 or 3 goals so the chance of Chelsea playing to a 2-1 or 3-2 match that will see them qualify anyway is a non-issue in my mind. In closing, let's not forget that at this level of play anything can happen and any bet involves quite a bit of interpretation of facts and issues.
