I am going live from Saturday after Sporting kindly put £20 in my account as I opened an account last week and had not yet deposited anything in it. I am doing 10p = 1 unit, and will see how far the £20 will go.

Do Spin let you go that low on stakes ???

Re: Total Corners Spreads: 70 bets, +17% yield Just read through this Muppet, keep up the good work, do you have any record for a level stakes approach although of course it's slightly different with spreads as your liability (stake) isn't known exactly but I just mean one point per bet not the 1,2 or 3 points that you are using at the minute?

You were wise to go with the larger stake, do you have an indicator for when to up the stake or is it your own gut instinct? Your figures for the level stakes suggests you are doing the righ thing with the variable staking, although I suppose it's still early days. Are you going to use real cash next season on this and I wonder if it's possible to backtest this system although I don't know how easy it is to get historical spread prices data? Good luck for the next few weeks.

Re: Total Corners Spreads: 71 bets, +22% yield Yes i have back tested this on one season s worth of spread quotes (100 games) plus around 50 matches from a variety of leagues that i collected myself. I discovered that i made more profit when my estimate was wildly different to the quote so there is reason behind the three various stakes. If i did any more quotes from anyone who has them then i will publish them as i have worked out estimates for all games for the last four or five seasons for all the major uk and euro leagues.
