Re: Tipsters Jump Selections 2008-2009 Catterick 12.30 Not these easiest of openers here but Karathaena has by far the best stand out form and her G&D contests reads 611341371445 and has won off marks carrying 11-7 & 11-4 and also has carried top weight before and just missed out on placing, and should be a danger if repeating her last G&D form, Lawgiver could go well on his 3rd earler in the year and could be helped by the 4lbs drop in the weights only slight reservation is the Trainer & Jockeys form doesnt stand out but could still run into the prize money,Celtic Heather stood out in this contest as she has only ran once on this G&D trip and one at Worcester by 8 lengths 3 outings ago, has found it tough on his last two outings running against some tough opposition both times at Aintree and this track could bring out the best in her. Advice back Celtic Heather £7 E/W @ 8/1, Karatheana £5 E/W @ 16/1 & Lawgiver £3 E/W @ 20/1 £30 Staked.

Re: Tipsters Jump Selections 2008-2009 Catterick 1.00 Fine Parchment should go well on his 2nd over fences 1 days ago where he was beat only 2 1/2 lengths, and is 5lbs down and looks to be weighted to improve past his second, North Island who managed a four timer over the P-T-P rules and should improve past his 4th 12 days ago where he was prominent through out the race until he hit the last and wasnt bat that far out, now 2lbs down with Seamus Durack on board who is banging in some good winners. Advice back Fine Parchment £5 Win @ 9/2 & North Island £10 Win @ 2/1.

Re: Tipsters Jump Selections 2008-2009 Folkestone 1.20 Portrait Royale should improve at the weights on is 3rd 15 days ago and is now 8lbs down with Felix De Giles taking the ride and could fill in the places, Stop The Show should be a danger if he has not come out of his last race fall none the worse and his 3rd at Carlisle even though he was 36 lengths behind Campanero looks strong enough to make his presence felt and dropping down the weights by 10lbs should be a plus. Advice back Portrait Royale £6 E/W @ 16/1 & Stop Show £10 E/W @ 8/1.

Re: Tipsters Jump Selections 2008-2009 Folkestone 1.50 Shingle Street not going to go mad on this ones on his present form but has good form over G&D mainly 2 years ago where he has a 67% strike rate and one of those victories he carried 11-8 so well in at the weights no aids applied in this race i.e cheekpieces or blnkers etc. so whether that may bring out a revival is another thing. Advice back Shingle Street £1 E/W @ 40/1

Re: Tipsters Jump Selections 2008-2009 17/12/08 Bangor-On-Dee 12.40 Lost In Normandy has a good chance on these terms to go well today, Seems to relish running under low weights an his record carrying 10-0 - 10-1 reads 182 which obviously stands out over these conditions and just being in at the weights should help his cause, Kikos changed my mind a couple of times on this one but cannot get away from his last 3 chase outings where he hasnt been far behind the winner on two occassions and fell when looking the obvious winner, slight reservations off his mark today and would need a career best to overcome the weight and SP Jones is still looking for his first victory here (0-21). Not overly confident on these two so stakes to be kept low. Advice back Kikos £5 @ 9/4 to win & Lost In Normandy £3 @ 11/2 to win.

Re: Tipsters Jump Selections 2008-2009 Newbury 12.50 Georges Boy should relish the trip again after winning last time out and this distance seems to of bought the best out in him, and is 4lbs better off at the weights on his previous G&D form, River Indus is another who should go well again after his confidence boosting win last time out, has been getting closer over G&D contests with every run and is second last time out carrying 10-13 looks to be a good guide on him going one better. Advice back Georges Boy £7 E/W @ 9/1 & River Indus £4 Win @ 11/2.

Re: Tipsters Jump Selections 2008-2009 Bangor-On-Dee 1.10 Bannister Lane should run a big race on his previous form on G&D where he has managed to get into the frame on two occasions and carried 11-12 before so the weight this time round will be no problem, Waking Ned caught the eye back in April last year when he won a race over G&D carrying 12 stone in a Class 5 Hunters Chase and is now down to 10-7, and this trip should be right up his street, Moustique De L'isle is another who should go well again after winning 45 days ago and has tasted this trip and been unlucky not to place and coming back down to a handy mark for this Class 3 Chase. Advice Back Moustique De L'Isle £5 Win @ 6/1, Waking Ned £4 E/W @ 14/1 & Bannister Lane £8 E/W @ 10/1.

Re: Tipsters Jump Selections 2008-2009 Newbury 2.00 Great Tsar who seems to have taken a liking to a bit of a cut in the ground should go well again and his 2nd two outings ago looks strong enough to make his presence felt again and get a deserved outcome in this competitive Handicap and 2lbs better off at the weights, Classic role has been given a bit of a chance at the weights on his two outings where he has carried 12-02 & 11-9 and managed a win and a place with that hefty weight and Jamie Moore can get he best out on him again. Advice Back Great Tsar £5 Win & 4/1 & Classic Role £5 Win @ 5/1.

Re: Tipsters Jump Selections 2008-2009 Bangor-On-Dee 2.20 Archimboldo Ran a cracker at Aintree in October and managed to place and he is now 7lbs down with his claimer and has strong place claims, Mortimers Cross looks over priced considering he has only once ran over G&D and that race he Won, Has gone up on that form but did win last time out carrying 9ls more and Richard Johnson should get the best out of him, Dan Buoy cannot be ignored on what he has done of late, A 50% strike rate over G&D and has won off 11-10 so no reason he cannot make a bold account again. Advice Back Dan Buoy £5 Win @ 5/1 Advice Back Mortimers Cross £5 E/W @ 13/2 & Archimboldo £5 E/W @ 8/1.

Re: Tipsters Jump Selections 2008-2009 Newbury 2.35 Matcho Pierj should run a big race if he can hold his jumping together, Won three outings ago in a Class 3 Contest carrying 9lbs more than that win but has managed to place off 11-9 in the past and should be a danger, Sharajan ould fill in minor places for the King yard has placed at Uttoxeter, Does need to find improvement at the weights but could still make his presence felt. Re: Tipsters Jump Selections 2008-2009 Bangor 2.55 Atahuelpa hasnt won since 2004 but if he was to come back to this form he would win this, considering the trainer has dropped him in a very weak race which could bring a slight improvement, Ton-Chee who is another one to have been quiet of late but does have form stored away and could make place claims if improving on his latest form. Advice Back Atahuelpa £3 E/W @ 10/1 & Ton-Chee £1 E/W @ 66/1.
