Reasoning	This race has been re-arranged obviously it was meant to be at York on tuesday, Posted this for York and obviously still fancy it. Top Lock has run well in good company this year, Finished 3rd at Ascot in the King Edward Vii Stakes behind Conduit & Campanologist. Conduit went to win on at Goodwood next time out whilst Campanologist has also ran some decent races, finishing 4th in the Eclipse beaten only about 1½ lengths. Patkai is obviously the main danger who seems to progress more with every run. Trainer Balding is also having a cracking season. Top lock looks to have a solid e/w chance here.

Re: Goodwood 23/08 2.45 9 runners face the starter for this listed event over 14 furlongs. The one which interests me at a decent tissue price is Tungsten Strike. Amanda Perrett's gelding finished 2nd here over two miles last time out, when finding the classy Yeats too good (beaten 6 lengths). That was in the Group 2 Goodwood Cup though and he did well to finish infront of 110-rated Sagara and 112-rated Distinction who were the immediate two behind. He was running off 105 that day and runs off the same mark again tomorrow so dropping in class he must have leading claims as only Sandbuch (not proven beyond handicaps as of yet) and Bauer (now 14 lbs above last winning mark and todays exertions may have taken toll) are higher rated. He won this race last year off 3 lb higher after Daryll made all on him and he was unchallenged. That was his last racecourse success but after mixing with the big boys like Yeats of late there is no shame in his own form and he could be worth a shout. He's versatile with regards to ground so hopefully he can hit the front and hold on.
