They were close up 3rd and 4th. Three were all in the top 6 home. Had the 1-2 in the first at Wolverhampton, knew it was poor value but had to have it as I played two in the race. Really didn't want to play the cast in the 7.20 but had no choice, had two tentative selections but wasn't confidence. They ran poor, kicking myself I shouldn't really have played and both threads suffered. Managed to find the winner in the F/C bets, but no where near with the 2nd home. One was withdrawn though, so half the stake is save on the F/C's. The Earl of Sefton was disappointing. Disappointing at Kempton, always risky backing in those classified stakes - such bad animals. Even if good enough he wouldn't have threatened due to a laughable ride by Sweeney.
