Trainer K A Ryan sent him here in November and December 2006 for consecutive starts finishing 2nd then 1st at the 7f trip. It looks like a similar strategy this time at 6 furlongs. The weight at 8-9 from 9-5 and having the same jockey from LTO should also help. 5pts ew @ 4-1 Bet365 BOG Southwell 1:40 Dazzler Mac Only 5th of 12 LTO but just 1 3/4 length behind the winner thanks to a great finish. That was a 6f race at Wolverhampton and a 7f like today is likely one he can do well on from last time out as evidence. In form Paal Mulrennan is scheduled to be the jockey and that will benefit the runner alot. Mulrennan for this month has three wins, one second, three thirds, two fouth from 19 runs. One of the three wins was at thos course and distance. 5pts ew @ 9-1 Paddypower Southwell 1:40 Didactic Has his best all weather outing at this course and distance. Finished 4th of 8 after leading to 2 out until weakening to be beaten by 7 1/4 lengths. Previous start was for 9th of 11 at Wolverhampton. Those are the only two outings on the all weather. Trainer A J McCabe and jockey Patrick Mathers had 3 wins from 7 4yo+ runners on the all weather. I think he'll be more fit this time around after his last two being over hurdles. 2pts ew @ 20-1 Bet365 BOG Southwell 1:40 Stepaside Could be good today with the drop of trip to 7f from 8f LTO. Comments in Running from latest outing: prominent, chased winner 5f out, ridden to lead and hung right from over 1f out, headed well inside final furlong Jockey Andrew Elliot is scheduled to be on board. Elliot has been doing the best at this course from all jockey for 2008. Raced five times, two wins, one second and one third. 3-1-1-4-2 at SP's of 7-4, 9-2, 11-1, 14-1, 11-2. 5pts ew @ 7-1 Bet365 BOG Southwell 2:10 Isa' Af The last two for trainer P W Hiatt finished 3rd of 7 and 2nd of 7 here. Isa' Af finished 6th of 8 here LTO, 23 days ago (Apprentice) but it does not take away the fact that his three career all weather wins have came here. This course is where Hiatt is profitable with the all weather since 2003 - 12% win rate for +4.16 LSP from 155 runs - loss of 114.71 at the other courses from 392 runs. This is the only runner of the day for Hiatt. 2pts ew @ 33-1 Bet365 BOG Southwell 2:10 Legend Erry The current form of trainer Jane Chapple-Hyam awaits at 4 wins from the last 5 runners. Three of the four winners was at this course and the latest at the distance of 1m6f. Jockey John Egan was on board when Legend Erry won LTO. Egan has been doing well for the past 7 runs - 2-8-2-2-5-2-1. Also, the last four wins for Egan have been in Handicap races - 9 attempts. 10pts win @ 6-4 Bet365 BOG Southwell 2:40 Dado Mush Won by 2 lengths 10 day ago at the weight of 9-3 after being at 8-0 the previous two starts. He now goes in for the four-timer and from the same draw as last time. Still, nothing has changed from the past three starts, same course, distance, jockey. He does take a step up into a Class 5, 0-75, but showed me enough to be favored here. The ratings from the previous three starts are, 0-62, 0-65, 0-57. 10pts win @ 6-4 Bet365 BOG Southwell 2:40 Good Cause Trainer Mrs S Lamyman has 11 career wins from 132 runs with 9 being at this course from 86 4yo+ runners. She specialized Victory Quest to win 4 of 8 runs here last year - ended being placed in 6 of 8. 6 other horses had 15 runs for zero wins in 2007. Big price with not much hope but I think his last outing being his first on the all weather can be forgiven. 2pts ew @ 25-1 Bet365 BOG Southwell 2:40 Rigat Trainer T D Barron does well at this track. Also, has the most runs here with 223 the last 5 seasons - second most is Wolverhampton with 141. Barron with 4yo+ runners here has a 19% (26/134) win rate the past 5 seasons and already one win from two this year. The winner ran for 1 mile and the one who lost raced for 6f. Rigat has 1 mile to cove today. Despite Rigat's 7th of 7 finish LTO he was on a form of 2-2-1 entering that day. First time at the track but trainer knows how to get them ready for this course. 5pts ew @ 11-2 Bet365 BOG Southwell 3:10 Karmest Bad outing LTO, 12th of 13 but booking Andrew Elliot may get her back in the right direction. Elliot has been doing the best at this course from all jockey for 2008. Raced five times, two wins, one second and one third. 3-1-1-4-2 at SP's of 7-4, 9-2, 11-1, 14-1, 11-2. Karmest finished 2nd and 3rd at Kempton before her latest outing. The distance apepars to be something she likes and should appreciate the jockey in good form. 5pts ew @ 13-2 Bet365 BOG Southwell 3:40 Yankee Storm Shaped well since stepping into the all weather - 4-2-2-1. The first three was at Wolverhampton and the latest at this course and distance. Jockey pat Cosgrave was on board for the win and again scheduled to guide today. The third and first placed finishes was with P Carberry while the 10th was with B J Geraghty. Soft going was not around for those three events but all was for 2 miles. I think he can do well here even if it is the first time for his new trainer J R Jenkins. Jenkins has three wins from 19 hurdlers this season - also another four second and one third place runners. Two wins was ridden by jockey G Lee - from 8 hurdlers. 10pts win @ Evs Bet365 BOG Plumpton 1:25 Itâ€™s a Dream Defeated by Kruguyrova by 2 lengths LTO but the weights are set more in favor of It's A Dream this time around. LTO: It's A Dream @ 11-0 vs Kruguyrova @ 10-2 Today: It's A Dream @ 10-12 vs Kruguyrova @ 10-7 Kruguyrova was coming off a 1/2 length loss to Refinement when defeating It's A Dream who was making his chase debut. Kruguyrova does have A P McCoy booked for guidance but that also comes with McCoy's form of 1 win from 11 chasers at this course. 10pts win @ 10-11 Bet365 BOG Plumpton 1:55 Pocket Aces Been placed for all three career hurdle starts - 3-1-2 - 9th of 22 in only bumper start. The latest start being at this course for the same distance and soft going. Has to be seriuosly considered with his win being by 26 lengths on heavy ground as the 11-8 favorite two weeks before his last start. I think he has more wins to come. He's been raced on going of Good to Firm (3rd), Heavy (1st), and Soft (2nd) and not disliked any of them. 10pts win @ 10-11 Bet365 BOG Plumpton 1:55 Kavatcha A P McCoy is back on with his 16 wins from 50 the last 5 seasons with hurdlers at this course. Kavatcha has failed to be consistent but McCoy was able to get his only hurdle victory - 6-1-5-F together. McCoy has two rides today and I think he has a better chance with this one because his chase form here is just 1 win from 11. Has been supported to as low as 4-7 so I think there was plenty of ablity expected from him. 10pts win @ 11-4 Bet365 BOG Plumpton 2:25 The Risky Viking Should not have any problems with the distance after winning a 4 miler on soft LTO. He did have his worst career performance prior to that but the distance that day was for 3 miles on good ground. The last two starts (8-1) are the only two tries over fences. Jockey David Dennis was on board for those two and again for today. Dennis has 3 chase wins from 14 trained by Nick Williams since 2006. - Just 1 from 17 the previous years. 10pts win @ 4-1 Bet365 Plumpton 2:55 Axinit Has a tough task today with being top weight at 12-0 but current form could be good enough. He's been 2-4-1 for the last three three starts and the last two with jockey John Flavin. The last time Axinit raced for two miles was last October for a 15th of 18 but his fall from the previous outing could have influenced that 15th. Despite top weight he has a chance, won LTO by 9 lengths, 2m4.5f on soft - made all, clear before 3 out, unchallenged. Connections went to 5,000gns to retain him from that seller win. 5pts ew @ 9-1 Ladbrokes Plumpton 3:55 Mexican Honeymoon Turned in best career finish LTO for a 9 lengths defeat into 2nd of 12. He'll be able to give the rivals much to do with his best effort coming on soft ground. The jockey to be on will be Robert Thornton so I think Mexican Honeymoon is expected to improve once again. There are plenty of trainers and jockeys capable of winning races like these but Mexican Honeymoon is the horse in the best condition. 10pts win @ 5-2 Bet365 BOG

He's not been close to winning since started racing in December from his July break - 12-4-7. But, that 4th placed finish was at this course so the familiar settings might enable the form he had around this time last year. Trainer D Shaw had a winner her on New Year's day from two runners - 25-1 winner at 5f. Jockey Patrick Donaghy was on board that day and is scheduled to be with Lucius Verrus. 3pts ew @ 11-1 Bet365 BOG Southwell 1:20 Grand Palace One to not count out for today with his form at 2-1-3-2-1-2 since November 20, 2007. I'd like to go with this one as he belongs to the N A Twiston-Davies & David England combo. Jockey David England has 8 wins (13 placed) from 29 chasers trained by Twiston-Davies this season - 17 from 67 all-time. They only have 2 wins from 29 with hurdlers when teamed up. Twiston-Davies has 7 wins from 39 chasers here the last 5 seasons and just 1 win from 48 hurdlers. 3pts ew @ 16-1 Bet365 BOG Taunton 2:40 Butterfly Rose Lightly raced with three hurdle and bumper outings last year. Her three hurdle starts was for defeats of 4.25, 13.5, 11 lengths so she's been able to to something. The latest was with jockey Denis O'Regan, scheduled to be on again today. Place prospect with her jockey being finding more success in Maiden Hurdles while in Ireland (11% compare to 8% for novice and handicaps). O'Regan has three wins from 17 Maiden Hurdlers in Britain for +2.73 LSP so I think the knowlwedge he has in these races Butterfly Rose has a chance today. 5pts ew @ 5-1 Bet365 BOG Taunton 3:10 Carnt Spell Trainer J T Stimpson have sent out just 18 chasers since 2006 but has a decent mark from those few - two wins, one second, and two each for third and fourth. Jockey Liam Heard is the one Stimpson has the most wins with at three, from 19 hurdlers, Carnt Spell will be their first chase team. Heard has only 1 win from 9 at the chase track but he's been doing well with chasers lately - 2-1-12-5-1-2 since Boxing Day. Carnt Spell won his last start at Huntingdon, 3m Good to Soft. He's been a better chaser as he has two wins, one second, two thirds from 13 and just one second from 11 hurdle starts. 5pts ew @ 7-2 Bet365 BOG Taunton 3:40 The Wooden Spoon Liked the 3 mile trip LTO finishing 2nd of 18 when lost by 1.75 lengths. It was his first outing with jockey Robert Lucey-Butler. Lucey-Butler is again on for today so maybe a similar effort like last time is very possible. Trainer Jim Best and Lucey-Butler as a combo this year has a form of 2-3-3-10. This course is also where Lawson is most experienced having 8 of 12 career all weather wins here. Handicap races is where 5 of 12 all weather wins have been from, two with 2yo's and three with 4yo+. Nabra does not have much to offer from her experience but the jockey on board has many settings where he has found the most success. The price offered is high enough to keep the stakes low for a large profit. 2pts ew @ 33-1 Bet365 BOG Southwell 1:40 Copperbottomed Only runner of the day for trainer J R Boyle. Boyle has 4 wins from 6 runners this year, including 3 wins from 3 at this course. Pat Cosgrave has 4 wins at the course from 6 attemps - 3 trained by Boyle. Copperbottomed has no experience at the course but did show a form of 1-2-2- from the last 4 runs - all at Wolverhampton. Also, two of the four Boyle winners was on their first try at the course - Hucking Heat (2-1F) and Home (4-11F). 10pts win @ 9-4 Bet365 BOG Southwell 2:10 Guadaloup Finished 4th (20-1) 5 days ago after being off since August 22, 2007. He had a form of 9-11-6-10-9 from July to August on his return and I think he'll be able to improve this this year. His last visit at the course and distance was an effort for 3rd of 13, beaten 4 lengths. The only all weather win was also at the course and distance, November 14, 2006. Jockey Patrick Donaghy was on board the streak of 9-11-6-10-9 and will be on for today. That is not a good sign but all 5 was raced on Turf. Donaghy on turf has 3 wins from 142 lifetime and 10 wins from 70 on the all weather. Donaghy and Guadaloup teamed on the all weather once and finished 4th of 9 over course and distance. Guadaloup was not in best shape that day from being 11th of 13 and 12th of 14 on his previous two starts. Donaghy for the year has three wins from six runs - two from here. 5pts ew @ 5-1 Bet365 BOG Southwell 2:10 Mind Alert Winless since February 22, 2006 but course and distance form from January last year could be a sign of good things for today. 2-2-3 at C&D from January 9 to 25 in 2007. He only finished 7th of 12 to start the year at Wolverhampton but the weights at 9-7 could have been too much that day. The 8-9 today will help and perhaps get it back to the form a year ago. Jockey James Doyle gets back on board after his absence from the last race. Doyle was on the previous two before LTO and they finished 4th of 12 (11-1) and 5th of 11 (7-1). Doyle is winless at the course from 36 4yo+ runners but his first two with Mind Alert looked good enough to possibly be placed today. 5pts ew @ 9-1 Bet365 Southwell 3:10 Tartatartufata Won at 25-1 LTO over course and distance. Jockey Patrick Donaghy is again to be on board. Donaghy has a form of 1-4-1-2-7-1 this year - two of three wins here. Her current form is hard to oppose with it now at 1-3-2-3-1 dating back to November 17, 2007 - 2nd and 1st at this course. With her 14 runs of third place or better from 23 I think she can continue on her current form. 10pts win @ 2-1 Bet365 BOG Southwell 3:10 Stolt Won his latest start by a short head at Wolverhampton and had 11-4 favorite Tartatartufata 2.50 lengths behind in 3rd. The weights that day was 9-0 for Stolt and 8-11 for Tartatartufata with today at 8-8 for Stolt and 8-12 for Tartartufata. First time at the course for Stolt but trainer N Wilson was able to send a runner to win on his first try here 4 days ago. Tartartufata is the Racing Post Forecast favorite but Stolt is one who can really give him somce problems. 5pts ew @ 8-1 Bet365 Southwell 3:40 Tagula Sunrise This will be the lowest to be raced at since 2005, 23 races. The latest outing was in Agust 11, 2007 for a 3rd of 10 at Ascot 1.50 lengths behind the two joing favorites, Our Faye and Dark Missle. Dark Missile who was 2nd by 3/4 lengths followed up with a short head defeat to the Kevin Prendergast colt Haatef at the Diadem Stakes. All weather debut today but racing in Class 1 and 2 the past 23 races should have this enough abilities for this Class 4. Jockey for today, Jamie Moriarty, had a winner over this course and distance yesterday. Trained by Tagula Sunrise trainer R A Fahey. She was able to lead until 1f out here then weakened inside the furlong. That race had Stolt, Memphis Man, Tartatartufata, and Almaty Express. I think being raced here in consecutive starts will help her. She was coming in from a turf run on the first two here and from Kempton LTO. Trainer J G Given seems to have found a way to get the runners ready for this track - 1-2-1 from last three runs. Given has his best strik-rate with 5-6f runners over the last 5 seasons at 15% (14/93) and 18% (5/28) with 4yo+. 5pts ew @ 8-1 Bet365 BOG Wolverhampton 6:50 Sand Crooner Has a good course and distance lifetime form - 4-3-1-5-5-2. Followed that up with a try on turf but failed to ran a similar race. Her 4th of 10 here was a good effort especially with it being her career debut. Winner of that race was Nippi Jazzman, had jockey Seb Sanders and favorite at 8-13. The 2nd horse Know No Fear followed up with a 2nd then a win in a Class 3 Nursery 0-95 at Musselburgh. The 3rd placed horse had more experience going into that race with a lifetime form of 3-3-2-3-3-2-4. Being back here should be something to like by Miss Bronte and with jockey Hayley Turner ending yesterday with a form of 1-1-3 is something to like. 5pts ew @ 9-1 Blue Square Wolverhampton 7:50 Dancing Deano Won two of his last three - one at Southwell and C&D. He was the 13-8 favorite on his last run but dissapointed that day with a 6th of 11 finish. The price offered is good for today. Trainer and Jockey combo had their last C&D combo for a win - Tri Chara at 4-1. The preivous C&D runner for the trainer finished 3rd of 11 at 22-1. 5pts ew @ 9-1 Blue Square Wolverhampton 8:20 Boomtown Has been here the past three starts but with poor efforts but the latest being the best. Trainer Mark Johnston has two wins from the last four runners at the course. Both wins had jockey Greg Fairley on board. Johnston has a 22% strike-rate with 3yo's at the course 19 from 85. 10pts win @ 7-2 Blue Sqaure Wolverhampton 8:50 Casablanca Minx Finished 3-3-2-3 at the course distance last month but off to a slow start this year from the same C&D. Perhaps the change of jockey to Kirsty Milczarek will help. But one to really like is the last six runs have never been a race just for Fillies. I will forgive that race because of the jockey booked that day, Liam Jones. Also the first run for Impostor since March 26, 2007. Jones has zero wins from 28 all weather runners trained by R A Harris. Jockey booked for today is T G Mclaughlin. Now has 5 of 7 all weather since 2006 - career started in 2004. All 7 wins are from 5f and 6 from the course and distance. January record last year was 1-1-2 and 2nd of 12 one January run from 2006. Sands Crooner was his latest victim, SC was the 11-8 favorite for his race yesterday but lost by 1 length when headed the final 75 yards. Almaty Express should be tough to beat with his form in these months and latest effort is in the range of keeping that form. 10pts win @ 6-4 Bet365 BOG Wolverhampton 1:00 Star Strider Broke his maiden LTO as the 3-1 2nd favorite in good style by defeating the 4-11 favorite Chivola. Chivola won yesterday over the course and distance as the 4-5 favorite. He was at the weight if 9-13 while Chivola had 8-12 that day. Despite being top weight at 9-9 today, I think a very good outing is possible. 5pts ew @ 7-2 Bet365 BOG Wolverhampton 2:00 Corrib Not done well here since finishing 2nd then 1st from consecutive runs in 2006 - 12-6-11-7-7 since. The last two runs have been raced here (7th and 7th) but they were Class 5 events. This Class 6 is likely to be more suitable and more likely he can get back to that 2006 form. The only other runner here for Kelleway this year won. Musango looks good to be coming from a strong stable and likely they know what tactic to use by now for his best effort. 5pts ew @ 9-2 Bet365 BOG Wolverhampton 2:30 Perfect Storm All weather debut from hurdling and chasing since last November - 5 races. What is to like is that he had jockey Jack Dean when he was last seen on the flat. That was for a three race break from the Nationas Hunt before returning to it the next month. The flat, turf, September form was a 6 of 15 6 of 12 and 3 of 12. I think he has a chance today even if it is his all weather debut. Has the experience with the jockey and had some good outings on turf. Plus the Dean is currently doing well with a form if 1-9-2-1 this year. Dean for trainer W G M Turner is 3-4-1-9-2-1 since December 29, 2007. 5pts ew @ 9-1 Coral Wolverhampton 3:00 Neyraan Cannot be counted out despite having only two career starts and none at this course. She is showing some improvement as she was able to finish 7.25 lengths behind the winner LTO compare to 12 on her debut. Jockey Greg Fairley is on again for the third time and he's finished 1-3-1 on the last three for Johnston - all at this course. 5pts ew @ 8-1 Boylesports Wolverhampton 3:30 Leamington Despite just being from the M Johnston and Greg Fairley team, this one has shown good improvement the last two races. Finished 2nd for both starts after the first two being for 3rd and 7tf. The 7th placed finished was her only turf start which brings her lifetime all weather form to 3-2-2. His beaten distances have shortened for all races from the last four runs (Oct to Dec) - 13, 4.50, 3.75, 1.75 lengths behind the winner. Could be offered at a good price with the finishing order for the last four being 12 of 13, 6 of 12, 7 of 11, and 6 of 12. The last 5 all weather runners for trainer G L Moore finished 4-2-4-3-2. The jockey on board, Ross Atkinson had his last run here and won that day with an 8-1 shot. Atkinson has two wins, two second, three third, one fourth from 14 all weather starts with runners aged 4yo+ lifetime. 5pts ew @ 9-2 Bet365 BOG Kempton 6:50 Salvestro Not done many good things on the all weather but jockey booked for today is Richard Hughes. The trainer A W Carroll has a form of 2-2-7-5-1 at this course this year.. His lifetime form with Looks The Business is 6-2-1. Should do well, lifetime all weather form has two wins and two seconds from 9 attempts. 5pts ew @ 5-1 Bet365 BOG Kempton 8:20 Falcon Flyer Had her best race two days ago - 2nd of 7. That brought her course and distance form to 4th of 12 and 2nd of 7. Her last four races have been here with the other two being for 7th of 13 (7f) and 8 of 13 (10f). This distance looks to be the best for her and add the current form of jockey Hayley Turner makes this a good bet. 3pts ew @ 12-1 Bet365 BOG Kempton 8:20 Golden Square Had some bad runs lately and has a form of 8-13-12-7 with jockey Kirsty Milczarek. The last was raced this year and I think Milczarek is capable of another improvement. The latest was for a 6.75 lengths defeat into 7th of 14 but is the best effort with Milczarek on board. Just what the Racing Spotlight says about this one.."in-form pilot is the main plus." Milczarek had a form of 3-1-1-3-4-1 from the last meet at this course. 2pts ew @ 20-1 Bet365 BOG Kempton 8:50 Monkey Glas Having jockey Andrew Elliot has produced a 3rd of 8 and 1st of 7 results the last two starts. The win came from a distance of 1 mile at Lingfield while the 3rd was raced for 7f. Elliot being booked again should have this be in the same shape as the last two. Has one course start for 3rd of 6, career debut at 5f. 5pts ew @ 4-1 Bet365 BOG Kempton 9:20 Come What July Trainer D Shaw has three placed runners at this course from the last 5 that ran - one win, second, and third. Jockey James Doyle is also in very good form with 5 wins from the last 12. The last trainer and jockey was good for a win. Come What July have not won a race since 2005 but I think he's worth the e/w with the current form of trainer and jockey. 2pts ew @ 20-1 Bet365 BOG Kempton 9:20 Mixing Milczarek had a form of 3-1-1-3-4-1 from the last meet at this course. She's also been with Mixing for his last three starts - 2-2-7. The latest being a 1m5f race may have been too far. The shorter trip should help with one of his second being a 1m4f race. Formerly trained by N G Richards and today is the debut for new trainer C T Pogson. Alfloramoor finished 4 of 13 LTO beaten just 2.50 lengths, October 13, 2007 on good ground and that was better than his debut on Good to Firm when beaten 26 lengths.
