Jockey has 33% win rate with 24 wins from 74 and another 23 2nd and 3rd placed finishers. The last 7 days for the jockey reads for 6 wins from 24 and 10 more to finish 2nd and 3rd. ML is 10-1 but I don't believe it will be there at the end. Obviously comes from a great team and cannot be ignored for current performance of trainer and jockey. 5 pts to WIN @ Pinnacle Sports 5 pts to PLACE @ Pinnacle Sports Fair Grounds-Race 8 Race 8 #9 Wisconsin Lady Trainer has two wins and a 3rd from the last three sent out. He chased twice in November finishing 4th of 9 and 5th of 8. The winners of the two events are Tidal Bay and Akilak. Stamina is a big conern but trainer K G Reveley have been able to get his 3 milers to do fairly well. 2-2-4-5-5 from the last 5 with the field size at 15-8-11-11-11 at distances of 24-29-24-25-24 furlongs. Two chasers was on that form and they finished 2nd and 4th. 5pts ew @ 11-5 Bet365 BOG Catterick 1:55 Shoudhavedonethat Not been the same since switching for Ferdy Murphy's yard (7-5-F from 3 starts) cannot be counted out from this event. He could only go for 10 of the 19 fences last time out until falling on the 11th but that race had some good runners. Over The creek was the winner followed by Hennessy, Contact Dancer, Ma Yahab, and Strawberry. That was his first crack at 3 miles and his previous long was a win over 20 furlongs at Ascot last March. Something to fear is the chase form of jockey G Lee at this course - 1 win from 18, 9 wins from 35 hurdlers. Could be a good time to catch this at a time where market support is rare. Trainer has been doing better with chasers over the last year and the price is worth to give this another chance. 5pts ew @ 4-1 Bet365 BOG Catterick 2:30 Tranos Trainer Micky Hammond had the 2nd placed horse for this event last year. Previous runners since 1998 are... 1998: 4th and 2nd of 6 @ 14-1 and 10-1 2000: 9th of 15 @ 14-1 Tranos does not look good to win this event expecially with the favorite winning 4 of the last 6. Been away for 301 days but the trainer for 2007 had 5 wins from 15 hurdlers - 3 more placed 2nd. 5pts ew @ 7-2 Bet365 BOG Cheltenham 2:45 Star De Mohaison Come in after a 13 month layoff due tendon trouble after winning latest start. He's a smart one and I doubt the connections will send him unprepared. He's been capable of winning from long breaks - Oct '05 win from April '05 break and Nov '06 win from Apr '06 break. He's won 4 of 5 starts when R Walsh is on board. Unbeated since January 1, 2006. 10ptswin @ 2.42 Betfair Exeter 1:15 Dancing Dasi Will be on her 5th start here and I think she can continue to be improve. She's been consistent from the 4 races ran - 2-5-5-5. The 2nd placed finish was at this course and distance. The following three was raced at Newbury, Ascot, and Newbury. Trainer V R A Dartnall has had a good last two months - 11 wins from 45 runners, 5 of 23 hurdlers won. She'll be glad to be back here but I'm worried about jockey Mr J Snowden having lost all 8 tries at the Hurdle track. Snowden has 3 wins from 6 at the chase track. Owner is F D A Snowden. 5pts ew @ 7-1 Paddypower Exeter 1:15 Onefourfun has 2 wins from his last two starts with the latest being a 13 length win on Boxing Day. Trainer C E Longsdon's last runner won at Haydock by 9 lengths with jockey Tom Siddall on board. Siddall now has 3 wins from 23 for Lognsdon, the other two wins are two Onefourfun won. 10pts win @ 2.63 Betfair Exeter 1:50 Leading Authority 12 lengths winner LTO, 17 days ago, and has to be faovred to be best today. Maybe he'll be better priced than the RP Forecast of Evs. Minella Tipperary is a big danger but the Tizzards have had three good chase winners since December 20. Mister Quasimodo, Joe Lively, and Nougat De L'Isle. Mister Quasimodo also finished 3rd of 7 to Voy Por Ustedes. Those 4 runs are are the only ones for Class 1 to 3 excluding the Class 3 Do The Locomotion made. 10 Pts win @ 2.22 Betfair Southwell 3:10 Vainglory Jockey Kirsty Milczarek won 5 of 27 with 4yo+ last month. 5 wins combined for the other months. She is winless with 4yo+ for trainer D M Simcock but they had 10 wins from 25 3yo's for 2007. Milczarek also has a win with Vainglory, only career win for Vainglory. Might like the drop in trip for his weakening 1 furlong out LTO. Jockey on board will be Alan Garcia. Garcia has four wins from the last 18 here. This is the first time Duke Of De Buqe will try at route course (1mile70yds) and that is deemed a ngative. But, the trainer record with 1st-time route runners is at 27% win rate over the last three years. Only career start of the Duke is for 6 1/2 furlongs here - finished 8 of 10, beaten 20 lengths. Pletcher has a 55% strike rate of being in the money for first time ruote runners the past 3 years. With the effort LTO he cound go for higher than the 8-1 ML. 10pts to win @ Ladbrokes Aqueduct Race 7 #2 Fort Drum Form has improved since being brought to this course - 3rd and 2nd. He's gained support for the last two starts with odds returning at 4.40 and 3.30 to 1. I think he's be able to continue improving because he still at this course. "She got a terrible ride," said Richard Dutrow Jr., the trainer of Oprah Winney. "The filly broke good, then he took her back. He must have thought he was riding Ruffian." Her trainer Richard Dutrow, Jr. has won this event three times since year 2000 - including last year with Oprah Winney. She's not won since last October (2 races) but still has plenty of abilities for today. He also won his only start at this course and happened to be a 2m4f race. Record on heavy going shows 3 wins from 3 starts - twice hurdle and one chase. Only defeat from his career is the attemp for the Supreme Novice Hurdle at Cheltenham. Lungo's chase mark here at 10 wins from 27 the last 5 seasons. Lungo has 5 scheduled to race and this is the only chaser. 5pts ew @ 7-2 Bet365 BOG Ayr 3:15 Storymaker 2007 record was 6 races with three wins and one second. The last 4 reads for 1-1-2-PU-1. He raced at this track prior to the last four for results of 8th and 5th. Despite the bad performances at this course I think he's in better condition this time and can do better. His last outing was a win in November after being on break since April. He's finished 2nd and 1st (LTO) for the two on heavy grounds. 5pts ew @ 5-2 Bet365 BOG Ayr 3:45 Topaz Lady Lost by 7 lengths to Millie The Filly last time out but they are closer in the weights this time around. Even with the defeat into second place LTO it was still her best finish from her 5 career starts. Jockey Fearghal Davis will be on board again and that is always a good sign he's hired by N G Richards. Davis had 5 wins from 22 hurdlers for Richards last year for +5.58 LSP. Topaz Lady's second best effort came on her only try at 3 miles - 5th of 12, beaten 7 1/4 lengths at Hexham. 5pts ew @ 9-1 Bluesq Folkestone 1:30 Victorbano Only making his third start but showing LTO was well enough evidence he's capable of winning a race. He battled well within the closing stages but just lost the lead in the last 100 yards. Maybe there would have been more to offer in he not blundered 2 out. That was his hurdle debut. He was the 10-11 favorite for that event. Today is likely to be different in the market but I think he'll be able to compete well today. He's gone on to finish 4-6-1 the last three races from being 10 of 14 and 11 of 16 on the previous two. The first two was also coming from two months off and he's never fared well from those many days off. Distance of 2 miles have not been raced since his early days in 2006. Trainer C Gordon have had 12 hurdlers last year - one win, one second, and three thirds. Only his second attemp at a mile but current condition looks too good to pass up. 5pts ew @ 9-2 Bet365 BOG Wolverhampton 8:20 The Salwick Flyer Enjoyed the trip of 7 furlongs LTO winning that event by a head and 5 lengths clear of 3rd place. He was raced at 5 and 6 furlongs since July '07 - 7 races. The race was at Southwell and he comes into this course having a lifetime form of 6-12-6-7 here. I think he can be ready to improve his course record. Trainer send most of the all-weather runners at this course and the jockey on board, Phillip Makin had 6 wins from 14 4yo+ runners last year. Makin was on board TSF for the first time LTO. The Salwick Flyer has two wins, two thirds, and one fourth from nine races for current owner The Irish Mafia. 5 pts ew @ 6-1 Ladbrokes Wolverhampton 8:50 Epidaurian King Poor course record of 7-3-8 but been improving since finishing last from 14 runners at Lingfield last November. The last four have been 14-8-4-1. All four are the only occasions when jockey Dean McKeown is on board. McKeown is back again and that could help Epidaurian King continue to improve. 10pts win @ 9-4 Bet365 BOG Wolverhampton 9:20 Scamperdale All five career wins was accomplished at this course including his latest outing. He won by 2 lengths while giving 3lbs to second place. His overall record here is conistent having been placed in 12 of 17 races with current trainer B P J Baugh. He raced a handicap over C&D prior to the win and effort at this could get the price higher than it should. This a stronger event but Van Ruymbeke gets the same jockey (Liam Jones) from LTO, Greg Fairley was on for the handicap race. Only one other from 13 rivals won LTO and next best finishers would be a 3rd placed finisher with the rest 5th or worse. It's only been 8 days since the victory so Van Ruymbeke could still be capable to giving his best. 5pts ew @ 9-1 Paddypower Southwell 3:40 Crimson King Winner from 3 of his 5 starts including LTO. All wins came at this track with his worse finished being at Wolverhampton, 13 of 13 over there. So, his lifetime course form is at 3-1-1-1. He's been able to win at this this distance and backed as the 10-11 favorite that day. He was backed at 7-4 and 10-11 in 2006 and I think the abilities expected then is going to be show up today. 10pts win @ 2-1 Totesport Wolverhampton 6:50 Glenridding Winner at this course LTO at the distance of 1m141yards. Glenridding has continually improved his efforts here - 8-4-5-2-1 lifetime. It will bet the first jockey Jack Mitchell to be with this one but I think it can go well. Mitchell has 4 wins from 17 with 4yo+ runners at the course for +29.50 LSP. His record in all weather apprentice races is at 5 wins from 28 with 4yo+ runners for +8.54 LSP. I think he's up again for another solid effort by the look of the trainer and jockey combo form. It by far his best finish since his return from France. His race in 2005 was the first since 2005 - he went 12-9-2-3 from November to 9 days ago. He did finish 3-2-2-5 from 4 hurdle events in Britain back in '05 and looks to shaping back into winning form. This is the best horse of the year for trainer C J Gray and likely he's been schooled well for today. Gray has 5 horses for this season and Mayeul's 2nd and 3rd placed finishes are the best results from the 5. 5pts ew @ 9-1 Bluesq Chepstow 3:35 Push The Port Consisten for the year 2007, placed in all four races, 3-3-2-2. Three of the four was raced on soft ground - 3-2-2. Last three have been with jockey Jay Pemberton. Pemberton is scheduled to be on the saddle today. Pemberton finished 3rd or better on 9 of 20 hurdle runs this season. This is a higher class race from 3 into 2 but he won by 13 lengths on soft at Haydock LTO and could be a big threat today. The distance of 2 miles and 2m110y is where he's only raced so that should not be a problem. He has six career hurdle start with two wins, one second, two third. 2pts ew @ 40-1 Sportingbet Sandown 3:10 Trompette Not had a win since January 8th last year but only been raced twice since. Followed the win with a fall 2 out then the Vincent O'Brien County Handicap Hurdle Grade 3 at Cheltenham for an 11th of 28 there, beaten 9 1/2 lengths. Trainer N J Henderson has this ready. Three of the last four Henderson runners won their races - two chasers and one hurdler. The lone hurdler was making his hurdle debut and won that event by 17 lengths. The distance on 3 miles is fairly new with LTO being the only try at it - 5th of 11, beaten 10 lengths.
