12/03/2007 Wolverhampton 4:10 Shadows Fall It's a P F I Cole and Tolley Dean 2yo combo. They won with a 2yo at the end of last month over course and distance by a good margin of 1 1/4 lengths from 2nd place. This one is top weight at 9-7 but 5lb to claim by Dean should help. Shadows Fall's form on all weather is slowly improving with a 4th from the last two last month. 5-11-12 from previous 3 that was all raced at Lingfield.. With all that I think it can still do well in this field. The two career starts was held here for a 3rd and 1st placed finishes. Trainer has a very limited number of races for this year to study. The stats show as 11 races with 2 wins. Total of 6 finished in the top 4. One of the winner was sent 10 days ago. That runner had Warren Marston for a jockey, the same jockey for Palmers Peak. Might have this one ready with the last winner not being so far away. 5.00 pts e/w Market Rasen 2:50 Pee Jay's Dream Very consistent with his hurdling result. 2-1-3-1-3-3 liftime. This is the second time going in a Handicap Hurdle for those rated 0-115. LTO was the first crack at the 0-115 and did not gained much support for the SP being 20-1. Top weight, but won a 0-115 handicap hurdle while having top weight of 11-12 at Kelso in February. It's shown it is able to go well in this game and surely one to not count out. 10.00 pts win

Harringay comes in from two 2nd placers last month and 13 days ago. Raced at Sandown LTO and that was a Class 3.' Down in the weights from 11-12 to 10-12 today. Has 3 2nds and 1 3rd from 6 chase starts. The first three finished 3rd (11-1 sp) PU (18-1 sp) 3rd (7/2 sp). The other runner from Williams for this race is unraced. Camden Flour has two starts for experience finishing 3rd and 4th. The latest start was here at the same distance to be only beaten by 3/4 lengths. This is the 2nd start for Prince De Seuil at this country and will be well if able to go as well as last time. Again having Robert Thornton for jockey. Nom gained plenty of support that day as he was backed to be the 10-11 favorite. Should have no problems with the distance of 20 furlongs today as he has experience over 21 and 20.5 furlongs. Beaten 13 lengths to 2nd place to Harrycone Lewis and 9 lengths ahead of 3rd place Elvis Returns at Newbury. Haydock is a similar track with left handed turns, flat, big fences, with Newbury having more of an extra gallop. Trainer has been in winning form with her chasers - 4-4-3-2-1 for the last 5 and 3 of her last 5 winners are chasers. Now back to the track where he gained his only career win. Won here going the same distance he needs to do today. The last Oldroyd runner here won at 13-2 to up the trainers lifetime stat to 12 wins from 58 for +42.41 LSP. Bond Becks is a 7yo and that fits well with the trainers regimen. Oldroyd's Wolv stats for 4yo+ is at 11 wins from 44 runners - 6 wins from 28 this year. There is a penalty but jockey change has 7 to claim compare to the usual 5. Aurora's Encore has proven to go on Good to Firm (2nd of 9) and Good to Soft (1st of 14). He can go for 2m3.5 and 2m5.5 furlongs so I think he's got the skills to take another novice event. 10 pts win @ 6-4 vcbet Sedgefield 2:10 Ryminster Handled this track well this year having finished 1st and 2nd - both the distance of 3m3f. The last four have been for 1-2-2-2 and being back to this track I believe can help stay with those numbers. Both career wins have come when paired with the jockey set for today. In Dream's last start was his first in six months and could not past Blue Splash in the process. Today should be something he can run well against and Keniry is something to really like with this one. 5 pts ew @ 9-2 bet365 (BOG) Wetherby 2:05 Mith Hill Last two have been good for being placed in 3rd place and that is what I'm expecting here. A win is uncertain with the record of Michale Murphy having just 2 wins from 30 when hurdling (total of 9 for 3rd or better). Murphy's chases record is better at 4 wins from 17. But, this horse is the one who's done the best lately from where he is scheduled to ride. There's been decent competition from the last two and one to go with for the trainer having won 2 of 4 hurdlers here this year. 5 pts ew @ 6-1 bet365 (BOG) Wetherby 3:35 Khachaturian Does not appear to have much success on bare form with a 2-5-F-5-10-8-6 to read on for his last 7 races. The last two was raced last month and the rest from Feb to Apr. He's one from beaing beaten 25 lenghts into 14 LTO. Last outing was streched to 20 furlongs from 17 and that got him closer by 11 lenghts. He's set to go the similar trip today and another improvemnt is what I seek. Trained by N H Henderson and will have Mick Fitzgerald for the 2nd time. He finished 4th 33 days ago at Ascot for a defeat of 8 lengths, 7 lenghts behind 3rd. The finishing order from 1st to 3rd for that race was County Zen, Blue Bajan, and Song Of Songs. The hurdlers win rate the last 5 seasons for the trainer and jockey here is excellent , 28% and 33%. Latest is the only chase start and that was a loss by 1/2 length to P F Nicholl's Big Bucks. There is trouble from the two who has proven more by the name of Silverburn and Joe Lively. But, at a bigger price Barbers Shop has the abilities for this and comes from a winning team. Trainer and Jockey are N J Henderson and Mick Fitzgerald. Not been raced here since 2005 but won by 7 lenghts that day with 2nd and 3rd being trained by P J Hobbs. Raced 11 days ago and that was the first time out since May 12th.
