but the chasing pack are closing in. Bartonbank has a few selections that others have left out (Osana and Sublimity) and looks like he has a chance of finding the Champion Hurdler there. Billyhills keeps up his consistency but drops from 2nd into 3rd. AK1979 is only 3pts behind him and breathing down his neck. There are loads of punters around the 200pts mark and then a drop to those at the bottom who are still to break the 100pt barrier. Bowles is the defending champion but looks like he is going to be pulled up lame and it will take a miracle to retain his title from there. Jcosgrove has just the one winner with Kauto Star and still props up the table but can change that with the upcoming transfers in January. In the last few years i had Best mate then it died, i had kicking king then it got injured, i had WofA then it got injured & so on & so on. I thought put Denman in & see what happens. Halcon nearly won the national for me the other day which would have been nice as he is my joker in the pack. Massinis Maguire is yet to be see & MWDS hasnt scored any points nor had Exotic??? who would have predicted that?? anyway transfers coming up, i think you all should transfer out KS!! I could easily put in Kauto Star however all the rest have it so not worth just taking the same points behind everyone else. I'll have to gamble as there are only 2 places. Tidal Bay should have been in my original 10 (still dont know why i didnt include it). I think it will win the Arkle this year. I have looked at the other races & its between Voy per Ustedes & Twist magic for the Champion chase but my outside choice is now Ebaziyan who hopefully can win the Champion Hurdle. I am going to have to rely on KS getting beat in the GC & an outsider winning the Champion chase. ;) Out go Granit jack & Iktihaf, I have unfortunately lost Massinis Maguire to injury also. All points scored up until Friday evening are for current horses, points from Saturday are for horses transferred in. I was advised last time to copy and paste details of all points scoring horses. It is then easy to work out the points for a horse after transfer by just deducting those points. There may be an easier way to sort this but I'm not sure. Points are often done by months but for January (transfer time) it will have points for both pre and post transfer window. I have e mailed the guy at tote who was very helpful with the flat season points. Ideally I need details of points from Friday evening but that depends if they will actually be on the TTF site at that time. Any ideas? If it was you only need the points from any horse that have ran since then, i know Blazing Bailey got 16pts and Air Force One 10pts on my selections. The table was up to date as of 28/12/07 and as you say there are not many points scorers since (Jack The Giant runs tomorrow). The main thing is that we have the points for the horses transferred in as you can't claim them as your own and I imagine a lot of people will transfer similar horses in. Once I have updated the selections at the weekend we can update the scores and I'll let you know if I need some help.
