Yesterday's debacle hit me for six, especially coming the day after five winners from eight! I've had a check on system 5- and it is still going backward I'm afraid. Definitely looks like a midsummer system only so I may put it to bed and roll it out in July again.

It's fallen away dramatically over the last week and is at (or near to), zero points after so many bets and the ROI is less than a bank would give you for your savings. I always said if a system dropped that far then I would retire it. We'll see tomorrow.

Sprints 2. 7f to 8f 3. 9f to 10f 4. 11 to 12f 5. 13f to 14f 6. 15f + Half way through the season I find 4 distances not doing too well with 2 by some coincidence making a good profit. I then jetison the bad ones and keep the others. To be perfectly fair I should start from scratch with just these 2 and not include past results. In which case this system we are in now would be in the red. Sorry if this sounds harsh but I must say how I feel. Ginge

I'm not with you Ginger :unsure Are you saying because I've had no selections the last couple of days that I only chose when to post them? If that is the case then you are sadly mistaken as I post all selections up regardless. If you go back to September time I went over 10 days without a winner (and at that time there were 5-6 bets a day) but I kept posting even thought he points and ROI were dropping like a lead balloon. If you are querying the fact that I've dropped systems 5 and 7, then that's another story. Those two systems were just not performing so there was no point in carrying them on. System 5 performed well in the summer, so as I stated a few posts ago, I will roll that one back out next June time. System 7 went over 100 bets to no avail- one-two points profit and ROI of 2-3%. Where is the logic of carrying that on? At the end of the day, these are my selections and I post them up so I can keep a track of what I'm doing. If people want to follow them and the systems are doing well, then I'm delighted. If the systems are not doing well, then there's no gun at anyone's head to follow them. Anyway, I can assure you that whenever a system throws up a selection, I always post it regardless. Take care. Tony

Re: Aelara's downfall?? No selections today PS For Ginger. If you go back to the very first post of this thread, you will see that system 6 is based on 6 furlong races and then only with certain criteria. So obviously in the winter selections are going to be few and far between.
