The semi finals and final are all on Monday night and tbh I think this is in the bag for Taylor. Barney looks a tired, weary man whose class is enough to see him through against lesser players but not against Taylor who has beaten him convincingly in both the IDL and US Open in the last 3 weeks. One bet I like in the semi's though. 10pts T.Jenkins +4 to beat R.Barneveld 10/11 Stan James This looks a much closer semi final than the odds suggest. Already in the league stages of the Premier League these 2 played out an epic 7-7 draw in Newcastle. That night Barney threw everything at Jenkins including a 107 average but The Bull matched fire with fire. That will give him the confidence to go toe to toe with Barney again. Barney in recent weeks has looked very jaded particularly in longer matches and that's a weakness Jenkins can take advantage of. He's a solid player when he's on form and he's shown in the World Grand Prix that the biggest stage doesn't faze him. The closer this remains the slacker Barney may get and in the biggest match of his life Jenkins can prosper. Whether he's good enough to win remains to be seen but I can certainly see him getting 8 legs.

Re: Darts: Premier League Playoffs I honestly think we'll see 2 close semi finals and the price of this is just daft. 10pts P.Taylor vs D.Priestley - Over 17 Legs 2/1 Stan James Just looking at this bet it screams value. Ok Priestley's results tailed off somewhat in the 2nd half of the league phase but he rarely got outplayed and he's somebody who we know can go toe to toe with the great one. They've had a few close tussles over the years and let's not forget that at Wolverhampton in week 2 they played out a 7-7 draw. Here we don't need anything like a 7-7 draw. It's unlikely Priestley is going to win this 11-6 or better so realistically and Priestley win of a Taylor win by 11-7 or closer and we're a winner. Taylor's in good nick but Dennis, the Yorkshire terrier will be tough to shake off. This is the biggest game Priestley's had for a few years and at the worst he'll want to keep it close. 11-7 or better either way and we're in and that'll do for me.
