No outright bets for me but there are 3 bets for tomorrow's match. 10pts Bangladesh +4.5wickets/60.5runs 5/6 Sporting Odds Bangladesh host India in Dhaka full of confidence after announcing themselves to the World Cup by beating India in Trinidad. For India revenge will be the order of the day but Bangladesh will be out to show that win was no fluke. You could say they've already done that having beaten South Africa in the Super 8's. Bangladesh have an injury doubt around Masrafe Mortaza and will leave it until the last possible minute before naming their side. Javer Omar is expected to open the innings alongside Tamim Iqbal with Shahriar Nafees not getting a gig. We saw at the World Cup the effect that Bangladesh's 3 prong spin attack can have and on a pitch that already looks dry they are sure to have an even bigger effect here. India arrive in Bangladesh with an interim coach - Ravi Shastri who stands in while a replacement for Greg Chappell is found. In fact his replacement could be coaching the opponents as Dav Whatmore leaves his role as Bangladesh coach after this series and is tipped to succeed the Australian. India turn up with a young squad. There's no Ganguly, Tendulkar, Agarkar, Harbhakan or Kumble for various reasons. Manoj Tiwary, whose debut was eagerly anticipated is India's only injury problem and he'll definitely miss this match as India look to get back to winning ways. The pitch loks like being a low, slow turning wicket which will suit Bangladesh down to the ground. Bangladesh are capable of winning as they've shown recently but India will be all out to win, I don't think it will matter about being convincing for India as long as they win and I think they will win but Bangladesh will remain within this large handicap. 10pts M.Rafique's Performance Pts 34&Over 5/6 Bet365 Points are scored as follows: 1pt per run, 10pts per catch & 20pts per wicket. Mohammad Rafique is an experienced campaigner and enjoys playing against India it seems. He's got 15 wickets against them from his 12 ODI's against them including 3/35 in the famous World Cup match in Trinidad. With this pitch likely to spin he's sure to be in with a chance of covering this with the ball but he can bat and is a decent lower order batsman and if any points are needed with the willow it's very much possible he'll get them. This isn't a big target really and I think he'll cover it. 1pt ew M.Mortaza Top Bangladesh Bat 25/1 Boylesports (1/4 1,2,3) Masrafe Mortaza is an injury doubt in this match but if he does play he's well worth covering with a small stake to be the top Bangladesh batsman. He can hit a very big cricket ball and is very much able to come in and up the run rate down the order. In order for him to top score it's likely the Bangladesh top order will need to fold but at 25/1 even if he just makes the top 3 then it'll be worth it. This guy can bat so he's overpriced at 25s.
