G:G
Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: (16-18/3) Sönderjyske - Aab Aab dnb @ 2.02 (Pinnacle) Aab are up 2-1 in this 7 matches semi final after winning last match 5-1 at home. Sönderjyske won their home meatch, 5-4 after o.t., but that match could have gone either way. Sönderjyske have not played very well this semi final, looked slow and tired last macth, instead of skating they used their clubs to stop Aab, resulting in lots of penalties which Aab took advantage of. Sönderjyske are a strong home team, have won all three playoff matches at home so far, but now I think they will loose. Aab have a strong advantage in H2H's this season, they have 5 wins, one draw and one loss within regular time, so winning against Sönderjyske is a familiar scenario for Aab. My feeling is that Aab have the upper hand in this semi, so over evens for dnb looks like a very decent offer. Esbjerg - Herning Herning @ 1.84 (Pinnacle) 4th leg of the semi final, Herning are up 2-1 after winning the last two matches, 4-3 away and 9-1 at home. Last match, when Herning really destroyed Esbjerg and won with huge numbers, can't be easy to get back from for Esbjerg. They know that Herning are better, and now that Herning's won 2 matches in a row, I think Esbjerg's really doubting weather they can get another win. I suppose Herning will want to finis this semi final as soon as possible, so theu can get some time off and start to concentrate on the final. Herning are now 5-2 against Esbjerg this season, and I predict that they can wait for Esbjerg to attack, make mistakes and then counterattack. If Esbjerg don't get a lead in this one, it could end up with a big Herning win again.

Burran
Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: (16-18/3) Björklöven-Leksand After Leksand's performance in the last period against Rögle, I have to back them here. They were 2-5 down in the beginning of the third, but made a magnificant comeback and won the game, 6-5 with the winner scored in the 59th minute. Now they still have a very slim chance of getting to next years Elitserie. They basicly need to win every game now. Björklöven has one single point and they have no real chance of reaching top 2. They had an impressive first game where they took a point at Södertälje, but they now have two straight losses against Malmö and Skellefteå. They are also suffering from some injuries, especially Brad Defauw is a big loss. Leksand is a better team than Björklöven and after their comeback in the last game I'm pretty sure that thay can beat every team in this series. [email protected] Pinnacle Rögle-Malmö Going for the away team in this one too. Rögle, as I mentioned really colapsed in the third period against Leksand. They have no chance of reaching top 2 now. However this is a local derby, and I'm sure that they'll do everything they can to sabotage Malmö's chances of reaching Elitserien. Malmö has started very convincingly with three wins in three games. Their team is obviously the best in the qualification series and they have the best player in Fedor Fedorov who has dominated in every game so far. I can't see Rögle winning this one. Despite that this is a derby, there's just too much class seperating these two teams. Malmö@1.80 Unibet
G:G
Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: (16-18/3) I agree with Burran on both Leksand and Malmö, Rögle with three losses and no points, Malmö three wins and 9 points. Rögle were up 5-2 vs Leksand last match, but lost 5-6 in the end, and their chance to reach Elitserien went away. Malmö are in good form and will stay in Elitserien, so despite this being almost a derby with lots of emotions I'm sure Malmö will win. Malmö @ 1.80 (Unibet) I'll also try this one: Södertälje - Skellefteå Under 5.5 goals @ 1.79 (Pinnacle). This is a very important match for both teams, Skellefteå have 9 points and Södertälje 5 points, so Södertälje needs to win and Skellefteå would be in a very good position if they win. Södertälje usually don't allow many goals and also have problems scoring atm, last match ended 0-2 vs Malmö. Skellefteå looks quite similar, last match vs Björklöven ended 6-2, but Björklöven are not good enough to compare to todays opponant. This will be a close match between two teams of similar strength, imo a very likely under 5.5 goals event.

Comic Book Guy
Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: (16-18/3) I don't have much time to write all the previews, so I'll keep them short: Hull Stingrays to win -1.5 (1.74 @ 10bet) Over 6.5 (1.85 @ 10bet) The season is practicaly over for Hull. They are 9th and 4 points beheind Newcastle (holding the last play-off position). Their chances were blown up by the defeat by Newcastle last weekend. They still have some theoretical chances, but they are minor. This bet is actually against Edinburgh. Edinburgh was expected to free-fall a couple of months ago. They performed a miracle then and pulled a couple of great performances after loss of 3 most important players. But, things are settling down, now. Edinburgh have played 4 matches away in a row and lost every one of them. Their goal diff. is 7:33. This is their 5th away match in 7 days and it doesn't look good for them. Comic Book Guy
Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: (16-18/3) Belfast Giants to win (2.04 @ 10bet) Manchester did win 2 in a row, but those were the matches against Edinburgh. Before those wins, they have played 6 matches at home and lost 5 of them. They have won only against Hull and it was after a couple of opponents huge mistakes. Belfast is 2nd placed and in good form. They have won in last 6 matches. They were in some sort of crisis a couple of weeks ago, but that's over now. In last 10 days they have won against Cardiff, Nottingham and Newcastle. Those teams are all in good form, so Belfast shouldn't have any problems with Manchester.
Comic Book Guy
Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: (16-18/3) Dijon to win (2.45 @ Bet365) Anglet was the worst team in Ligue Magnus this season. Dijon was one place above them, but they have earned 30 points more. In the regular part of the season, Anglet played 13 matches at home and lost 9 of them. Dijon's place was in the play-off, but they had a 9-point penalty and thus finished in play-out with Anglet. This is the 3rd match and Dijon won first two at home: 5:3 and 4:1. Dijon won 5 periods in those 2 matches and has every chance to win today.
Comic Book Guy
Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: (16-18/3) With small stakes: Cherepovec to win (3.40 @ Bet365) I didn't except Khimik to win more than once in the play-offs, but it happened. The result is 2:2, with home wins in all 4 matches. Khimik's end of season was disaterous and Cherepovec showed good form at the end of the regular part of the season. I don't think that Khimik can performe that good in 3 home matches in a row, so I'll follow these great odds on Cherepovec. Sorry again for short previews. Bamse81
Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: (16-18/3) Kölner Haie - Ingolstadt This is just the 2nd game of the quarter-finals in the DEL i.e German hockey league. In the first game Kölner Haie started out nicely by winning comfortably by 5-1. The score was 3-1 early in the game and 4-1 in the 33rd minute, after that Kölner Haie just watched their lead and according to reports had a great defensive aswell. Köln has had a good run in the league too lately, they have managed to collect 20 pts in the last 10 games which is just 1 pt short of DEG who are the team with the best form. The only real bebacle was the loss at home against Augsburg but other than that they have been great lately. Ingolstadt are in a completely different position only claiming 7 pts in the last 10 games. They have managed som draws and an over time win but only one time in the last 10 games did they win in regular time. H2H is pretty even with 3 wins for Köln and 2 for Ingolstadt but note that the last time they played in Köln the home team won 10-0. They have a great stadium in Köln and they are expecting an audience of 14.000 so don't think that they take this easily. If it was full speed ahead last game it'll be the same this time. Kölner Haie @ 1.90 expekt/ladbrokes 6/
