Slapdash Systems 2007

Re: Slapdash Systems 2007 Hi, oses32!

I would like to ask: Is it possible to use your system in North American tracks??
I don't really know. I've just looked at the place markets for US racing on Betfair, and there doesn't seem to be much liquidity at all, which is a big problem for this system. But maybe there is more nearer the time of the race? The other problem is placing an EW bet. I'm pretty sure you can't with US bookies, as all US horseracing betting is pool-based, but I don't know if UK bookies take EW bets on US racing.

Re: Slapdash Systems 2007 I'll stick with my first post for each horse for the purpose of keeping records, so I'll count So Cloudy as an "almost" at the price I originally posted, even though Paddy Power came out with a much better price later.

Just one "almost": [Desert Air 1.40 Ludlow (1.37/1.40 5.2/5.3) SP] non-runner
Three "almosts": [so Cloudy 12.40 Musselburgh (1.96/2.04 15.5/16) 9/1 Sporting Odds] won [Modicum 1.10 Musselburgh (1.59/1.63 7/7.4) 5/1 Sporting Odds] placed [shadow Aspect 5.05 Wolverhampton (2.22/2.36 11.5/12) 9/1 placed UKBetting]
Definites: Starting bank: 1000 Current bank: 872.25 P/L: -127.75 (Win -185, place +57.25) Total staked: 480 W/P/L: 1/10/13 Yield: -26.61% [Almosts: Starting bank: 1000 Current bank: 1079.50 P/L: +79.50 (Win -37.50, place +117.00) Total staked: 340 W/P/L: 2/6/9 Yield: +23.38%]

Re: Slapdash Systems 2007

Slapdash, what do you think: maybe you should bet "almosts" not only in doubles? ;) By the way, :clap :clap :clap
But it was not a qualifier with a non-runner. Sometimes you miss winners in these circumstances. But at the end of the year if you stick to the method YOU WILL WIN MORE in terms of yield. N.B This method does not use form, time analysis. But is based on the arbitrary nature of the place component within E/W betting with bookmaker. Bending the rules will cost you money in the long run.

Re: Slapdash Systems 2007

Just one "almost". I've made it an "almost" because it's quite marginal and it's a 16-runner handicap, so a non-runner would be bad news. [Celtic Major 3.20 Wincanton (3.75/4.1 17/17.5) 16/1 Ladbrokes] won
There was a 10p Rule 4 deduction. Definites: Starting bank: 1000 Current bank: 872.25 P/L: -127.75 (Win -185, place +57.25) Total staked: 480 W/P/L: 1/10/13 Yield: -26.61% [Almosts: Starting bank: 1000 Current bank: 1259.50 P/L: +259.50 (Win +106.50, place +153.00) Total staked: 360 W/P/L: 3/6/9 Yield: +72.08%]

Re: Slapdash Systems 2007 Well said Cavelloman:sad It is gutting though, but i do agree with what you say there is no point backing the selection if it doesnt qualify. Just a shame there was no other qualifying selection for a double. Looks like system seems to of turned the corner. Keep up the good work Slapdash:hope

Will stick these in E/W doubles.

Big value here. Pretty poor form but this race is full of horses that would be better in a sandwich in Belgium.

Re: Slapdash Systems 2007 Just had an email from my dad which he had from blue sq saying that from today they're offering a place market on every UK race 30 minutes before the off. These prices will probably be lower than normal each way terms no doubt and you will probably only able to have £2 on, but might be worth monitoring over the next few weeks as this system makes huge profit via the place part of every bet. Any thoughts anybody
