Bankers Posting Rules

1. Only bets that really are the best bet of the day, one you would lump an enormous amount on, a banker is a bet you would not envisage losing.
2. Only 1 bet, per punter, per day.
3. All bets 10pt WIN bets only.
4. Bankers should be posted at least 15 minutes before the race.
5. Selections above 2/1 (3.00) or Not 1st or 2nd favourite will require reasoning to be supplied.
6. Any posted tip following the rules will not be critisised. Negative comments will be removed. If you must protest about a tip or post in the bankers thread, contact the ATR Mods.
7. Make sure all bets posted include the Time, Course and Selection name.
8. Starting Price will be used for all calculations.

Punters Lounge Rating (PLR) Rules

1. All valid banker bets placed in the banker thread in the past 30 days will be valid and counted towards your PLR.
   
   
2. Any bets not meeting the Banker Posting Rules will not be counted and will be deleted from the thread.
   
   
3. PLR will be expressed as a whole number of 0 to 100. In the event of ties the remainder (rounded to 2 decimal places, expressed as rr) of the punters PLR will be used to decide.
   
   
4. The PLR Top 5 bets will be posted shortly after the deadline each day, normally within 15 minutes.
   
   
5. Of all the eligible Top 5 bets, the 5 bets belonging to the punters with the highest PLR calculated up to the previous day will be selected.
   
   
6. In the event that less than 5 eligable Top 5 bets are posted before 1pm, then only those bets from a rated punter will be used, meaning that some days may see less than 5 selections.
   
   
7. PLR will be recalculated in the afternoon/evening following the running of all banker races for the next day.
   
   
8. On a daily basis, all bets placed in the bankers thread BEFORE 12:30(est) or 13:30(bst) will be eligible for the PLR Daily Top 5 bets UNLESS racing begins before this deadline.
   
   
9. In cases where racing begins before the default deadline, a revised deadline will be posted. This deadline will be as late as is reasonable (this may include being after the first couple of races) whilst still allowing adiquate time to post and bet on the top 5 bets.
   
   
10. The Top 5 PLR bets and the PLR itself should not effect the running of the bankers thread in any way, except to encourage the punters to make only the most confident bets.

1. Only 1 bet, per punter, per day.

2. All bets 5pt E/W only.

3. Please make sure all bets posted include the Time, Course, Selection Name & RPF price.

4. All bets MUST include valid reasoning (failure to provide this will result in the bet being deleted)

5. All bets MUST also be duplicated in the daily threads (again, failure to do this may result in the bet being deleted)

6. Starting Price will be used for all calculations.

7. All bets must be posted at least 15 minutes before the race time

8. Although there will be no official minimum price, 7/1 is the minimum price recommended. Because we are working to SP, a cut off point will not be imposed but it is at the discretion of ATR to delete bets if the PL member continually puts up bets priced below 7/1

Ratings are based on the highest place P/L. We will run a Top 3 on all days except Saturday, when a Top 5 will be used. Places settled as:-

Non-Handicaps 5-7 runners = 1/4 odds 1-2 8+ runners = 1/5 odds 1-2-3 Handicaps 5-7 runners = 1/4 odds 1-2 8-11 runners = 1/5 odds 1-2-3 12-15 runners = 1/4 odds 1-2-3 16+ runners = 1/4 odds 1-2-3-4

2. All bets will be 10 pt lays

3. Please include Time, course, selection and fcast price (only required if you are worried it might go off >5/1.)

4. All bets will be settled at SP 5. All returns will NOT include commission

6. Maximum price of 5/1 (6.0) Please note: The selection WILL still be counted if it starts at > 5/1

7. Please include reasoning – “Distance too short” would do

8. Place lays ARE allowed

9. Please try to post at least 10 minutes before race. :ok :ok
