A very slow tournament

I read about this in "The Making of a Poker Player" by Matt Matros: http://www.wrgpt.org/ It's a tournament run by email, and you get several hours to act, so plenty of time to analyze what you should do. Unfortunately, this year's has recently started (and is estimated to end around next July), but there should be another one starting in October 2007. Anybody else who thinks it sounds interesting and would like to have a go next year? Or has anybody here ever played it in? If so, what did you think?
