Lay, Back and enjoy the show - horses

MALS stands for Mass Attack Laying System, because this is a system with low yield, but lots of bets, hence a nice turnover (money, that's what we like). I have been back testing and already have 385 selections proofed at SP+10% (since 22/Aug), so I think I can start a paper trial to try to find any potential problems of implementing the system. Only rule for now is maximum price to lay is Betfair 11.0 odds (SP 9/1). I already have the set of rules defined, but I want to back test some more races to have more data (the rules are basically a copy of maria's laying system, I admit it, but since she was so succesful I don't think it's that bad to admit a copy...). In the meantime I'll record prices at 1:30 PM UK time, and on this system it doesn't make a big difference to lay at 1PM or before the off. Any horses that have odds over 11.0 at 1PM I will leave a lay of 10 cents just to see if they would get matched. For now this is just collecting data, I'll explain some more stuff as we go along. Some raw data for the selections back tested so far: Yield: 2.2% Average selections per day: 25 Average Total Liability per day: 65% of bank Global Strike Rate: 82.2% Average Price: 6.4 decimal BF price The big value is in the big priced ones, over 7.0, but the liabilities are high, that's why the yield is so low... Selections for tomorrow to follow in a while.
