Boxing - Baldomir v Gatti

This should be a great fight between the WBC champion Carlos Baldomir 42-9-6 (12 KO) and Arturo "Thunder" Gatti 40-7 (31 KO). Both man will stand and trade and wont back down. Baldomir won the title when he beat Zab Judah on points earlier this year, when many people did not give him a chance. Judah thought Boldomir was just a warm-up for his fight against Floyd Mayweather and paid the price when he couldn't adjust to Baldomir style. Gatti fought the Dane Thomas Damgaard in his last fight who was unbeaten but unteasted, Gatti stopped him and looked quite good despite an injury to his hand. Gatti will be fighting in front of his home crowd at Atlantic City, New Jersey and they will be firmly behind their man. Gatti is looking for his third world title at as many weights. Gatti is somewhat of a knock out specialst wracking up 31 in his career, he has a very hard punch and is very accurate and throws punches from all angles. He has great heart and never gives up. He has been involved in some great fights esecially against Mickey Ward. He has fast hands and throws quick combinations and I think Gatti will knock out Balomir late on. Boldimir looks slow and sluggish and not very mobile and I think the faster,harder and more accurate Gatti will win this one. Arturo Gatti 10/10 @ 1.56 pinnacle
