Re: Daily donkeys. 2.50 Chester: MUBTAKER Excellent second in the Arc three years ago and keeps his form remarkably well, returning after thriving over winter with typically gutsy Group 3 win at Newbury; trainer expects this track to suit his style of racing, versatile regarding ground and trip and clearly the one to beat, as the poor price reflects. 4.00 Chester: FELICITOUS I'll back Godolphin horse all day every day but thats just me personally. But you do have to question why hes just bringing the 1 horse for todays card. She was made favourite on both her juvenile starts but was narrowly beaten on both occasions. The form has a solid look about it in the context of this race and she is selected to open her account this afternoon. 5.45 Nottingham: MURRUMBIDGEE. Ran a cracking race LTO at Warwick to finish 2nd. Basicly it came from nowhere. John Hills steps his charge up in trip, has the ideal draw in stall 1 and is fancied to hit the front this time. 6.45 Hamilton: OBE BRAVE Was a good winner at Ripon on his latest start and he can add to that with the stiff track in his favour. Also Ive had word for Pacific Pride in that race.Maybe a nibble on both and a R-F/C

Re: Daily donkeys. shit day yesterday didnt help with the NR. onwards and upwards.....

2.20 Epsom: Before you go. T.Mills thinks plenty of this well bred colt who has been learning his trade on the AW. He should have an edge on his fitness today over some of his rivals since winning twice at Lingfield over the winter and will be hard to beat if he is as good as they think he is.
runs again today 2.40 Lingfield: BEFORE YOU GO Long been highly rated by connections and progressing well despite having contested some muddling affairs, strong at finish after briefly looking in trouble in three-runner Blue Riband Trial at Epsom last time;Before You Go has already proved he can handle the idiosyncrasies of the Epsom track and with Lingfield not being too dissimilar, he should go well. (RP) 3.45 Beverley: FONTHILL ROAD. Was a model of consistency last season and Richards Fahey's carge deserves to taste success in a big race like this. Goes well fresh and likes this stiff track comig out of a good draw (stall 9) 3.40 Lingfield: MONTPELLIER Good middle-distance pedigree and has races in him judged on his debut third in Windsor maiden over this trip last month behind easy winner Red Rocks and Thursday´s Yarmouth winner Duty; should progress and the one likely to benefit if Areyoutalkingtome does not deliver..(RP) 7.45 Thirsk: NUMERO DUE C&D winner off a 4lb lower mark last summer and a decent 2nd to chester cup Greewich meantime LTO . The eye catching booking of Jamie Spencer who's picked this over Toldo means its the one to be on.

Re: Daily donkeys. just the 1 winner thanks to Jamie Spencer. 3.40 Plumpton: MAC FEDERAL. Shown plenty of promise to date and didn't run that bad at Ludlow LTO. Mick Quinlan's 4yo has run well around here before as it likes this track and with the preferred ground can run a big race. 3.20 Worcester: WILD POWER. Won at Newton Abbot on his last start and can make it 3 wins out of 4 starts. 3.50 Worcester: O'TOOLE. Disappointing over Fences and so is back over hurdles here. He can go well today with his stable doing very well at the moment. 4.00 Uttoxeter: MATTHEW MUROTO. His trainer Robert Alner can do little wrong at present and this seven-year-old looked better than ever when winning at Newton Abbot at the end of last month. Won two of last three over fences, both at around this trip on decent ground but does handle softer going; clearly in good heart and best of those with chase experience

Re: Daily donkeys. 3.50 Redcar: OUR SHEILA. The drop back to 6 furlongs will suit this B.Smart filly, who faces some moderate opposition here. Rather unlucky not to get off the mark as a 2 year old but does boast some really good juvenile form. 7.50 Towcester: LORD BROADWAY. Course specialist who has already had 2 wins to his name at this venue and is my pick to make it 3. 5.20 Redcar: PRINCE PICASSO. well backed and off the mark with authority when upped to this trip in Yarmouth handicap latest; soft ground would be an unknown factor (raced solely on good/firm) but proven over straight mile and 6lb penalty unlikely to stop him.(RP) 6.00 Windsor:HOH MIKE. Second favourite but looked in need of the experience when touched off by fellow newcomer in C&D maiden (fifth and sixth have advertised the form); looks sure to improve and likely to be hard to beat.(RP)

Re: Daily donkeys.

2.15 Redcar-GRANNY PEEL A mistake LTO cost Granny Peel the race at warick on the 4th April, It was 3ls clear and going well when it tried to run out after spotting a small gap in the rail.I cant see her making a mistake at this different course and she can make amends for trainer Kevin Ryan who is starting to hit form and had 2 winners(Desert Lord/Balow Star) yesterday at Musselburgh(sunday). Paul Hanagan takes over the ride today from Callan who Im sure will know that Granny Peel is a qwuirky horse but is also very good and there should be more to come. Advice: 10pts win
Runs agian today 2.40 Wolv, with Callan back on board.

Re: Daily donkeys. Just the 2 winners yesterday Hoh Mike @ 4/5 ,Granny Peel @ 7/4 :sad 8.25 Huntingdon: FOX POINT Bumped into a well-treated rival here LTO but was clear of the rest and is only 2lb higher for this. This should be run to suit as both his market rivals like to dictate the pace and they could just cut each others throats. 6.25 Huntingdon: LUNAR ROMPISE Showed promise during a limited number of runs on the flat last year and kicks off hurdling career in a modest race. 3.20 Newcastle: PRAIRIE SUN Won four on the trot in this month last year, already won twice this month and looks an improved handicapper.handles any ground and she can get her hat-trick today. 2.40 Brighton: YELLOW CARD. Ran at Newmarket last Saturday finishing 5th on his handicap/seasonal debut, His trianer Neville Callagham, has a 24% strike rate at brighton

Re: Daily donkeys. 4.55 York: AWATUKI. One time Dante entry who is still held in high regard by Jarvis despite 2 defaets since losing his maiden tag. Fallon rides today and so should settle better here off a stronger gallop. 2.45 York: ALEXANDROVA. Looks a shoe in job if reproducing her recent homework,her odds for the Oaks have come right down. 2.15 York: LEVERA. Proved Newmarket 7f defeat of subsequent winner Obe Brave no fluke when defying 10lb higher mark in soft there 10 days ago and prominent style of racing could be seen to even better advantage over this track; 2lb ahead of handicapper under penalty and plenty going for him.(RP) 3.15 York: ETLAALA. One of my personal favs this horse. Smart 2yo who found life tough at the highest sprinting level last season though was creditable third in July Cup; confidence will have been rebuilt by two 7f victories and worth noting all his wins have been at that trip, though clearly not short of pace for this drop back to 6f;

Re: Daily donkeys. Just the 1 again. Im saving all the wiiners for Friday;) 4.25 York: ALL STAR Progressive staying handicap last yearand promises to improve again now sent over 2.5 miles. Fit from a hurdling campaign and with Fallon on Boroard he looks sure to go well in an ordinary affair. 2.15 York: PORTRAYAL Only made 1 appearence last year but produced a convincing victory at Newmarket. She is only Saeed Bin Suroor’s second runner in this race, the first representative (Crimson Palace) having won back in 2004. 2.45 York: PALACE EPISODE Travelling best in the mud with Septimus and Best Alibi 3l and 4l back respectively; should stay and has the best form, albeit on heavy. This is his first run under the colours of Godolphin. Won three from four last year for Kevin Ryan; held in couple of Group races at Newmarket (fifth in Dewhurst) before confounding odds of 20-1 in Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster (1m, heavy) in October.(RP) 1.45 York: DESERT COMMANDER Having first run since 2yo success for Godolphin when making short work of 17 rivals on easy ground over this trip at Thirsk last month; 11lb raise only to be expected after he battered the field LTO at Thirsk.

Re: Daily donkeys. Hoh mike pissed it but at 1/4 :unsure My petra was close 2nd at 6/1. and a NR. 2.00 Kempton,MAROMITO Borderlescott lifted a decent handicap at York for Robin Bastiman. Ran well from widest berth over C&D last time when close third to Katie Killane and King Egbert; this draw a little better and is fancied to reverse placings with those rivals.(RP) 2.40 Lingfield,ALWAYS ESTEEMED Very useful performer at his best, but hasn't run up to par on turf recently. Drops in grade today, and on a track that suits him well, is fancied to gain his first win since 2004 for the in-form Kevin Ryan yard. 3.10 Lingfield, EASY AIR Fancied to get back on the winning trial here having found conditions too soft on his last run at Chester. Previously looked a progressive sort in winning over this C+D and looks within range. 4.40 Lingfield, PRINCE VECTOR Stable in good form and this one gets the nod following a solid and pleasing reappearence in a handicap at Bath

Re: Daily donkeys. 2.40 Goodwood: CORRIDOR CREEPER Well into the veteran stage these days but as well as ever judged on his most recent performances. Won well at Beverley last time and that followed a good effort on ground too fast in a group race at Newmarket. 3.15 Goodwood: FINAL VERSE Did well to finish so close in the 2000 Guineas having been plenty keen enough and this represents a drop in class. 4.20 Goodwood: EDAARA Has gone close with cut in the ground before. She looks another surefire future winner and all three races she has placed in to date have thrown out winners. After finishing well in her races, a step-up to this trip could prove the perfect tonic for success. 4.55 Goodwood: RYDAL MOUNT is the one with arguably the best racecourse form though after a surprising, yet very decent effort first time out,she was prominent all the way. That was in a good-looking maiden and she is related to plenty of winners.

Re: Daily donkeys. cheers Kev:ok 4.10 Haydock: PRIDE OF NATION Couldn´t have been more impressive when winning his first handicap at Bath last month and the runner-up franked the form at Goodwood on Wednesday; 11lb higher now but should make a bold bid to follow up if handling this much softer ground. 2.55 Newmarket: AFTER YOU Decisive winner of 7f AW maiden on debut at Wolverhampton in November but better form when fifth in a fillies´ Group 3 at Newbury last month. If the fav blows up then Im sure AFTER YOU can capitalise. 2.10 Goodwood: ISLAND MYTH Not a great race but Island Myth is a progressive sort who wasnt beaten far when 4th in a decent maiden LTO loves the soft ground and I can see this wiing on his handicap debut. 3.15 Goodwood: SONNY RED Won well at Newmarket on his debut and I cant see him getting turned over here today.

Re: Daily donkeys. cheers chaps:ok Dont go mad with these today as they are in very good races. Might even do a L15 E/W 3.45 Haydock: SUPASUES Won a poor maiden but better than that judged on least seasons form. Its worth noting that shrewd connections are aiming this high on handicap debut and conditions will not be a problem. 2.20 Ascot: MUNADDAM Ex-Godolphin and highly regarded by Ed Dunlop and should improve plenty for his return. 1.20 Ascot: FRANK SONATA Goes well on the soft and back to form this spring 2.40 Haydock: ANGUS NEWZ Posted best figures yet when enterprisingly ridden to beat good yardstick in Nottingham Listed event over this trip a week ago, clearly relishing soft going; penalised 3lb for that but looks a major player with everything else going for her

Re: Daily donkeys. 2.30 Fontwell: BRADS HOUSE A couple of solid efforts in defeat the last twice behind Jonjo's inmates. A consistant sort and this certainly looks no tougher, so every chance that he can finally collect. 5.15 Fontwell: HAIL THE KING Handicapped to the hilt but consistent with it and this will be staged to suit this hold up performer. 3.50 Newmarket: BANJO PATTERSON He began this season at Yarmouth in April when the good to firm ground would have been against him and he then finished mid-division in a 26-runner handicap at Newmarket. With those two pipe-openers under his belt he will be sharper and fully tuned up for this. The cut in the ground will be right up his street and he can collect. (BZ) 2.20 Utto: GREEN N GOLD. making her debut for her in-form yard after winning over C&D here 8 days ago on his final start for Micky Hammond in a valuable seller and can start repaying connections with another victory here.
