Re: Daily donkeys. 4.30 Exeter-FLOTTA Brendan Powell has been biding his time with Flotta waiting for better ground winning 4 out of 6 on todays ground and his patience can pay off in the Elite Racing Club Handicap Hurdle at Exeter. The seven-year-old notched two easy successes over hurdles in October, really benefiting from the faster conditions at both Fontwell and Wetherby. Powell then gave Flotta a well-deserved rest as having been running on the Flat, he had been on the go since last April. Flotta tuned up for this outing though with an eyecatching fourth on the all-weather at Lingfield earlier in the month, beaten four lengths after just being tapped for toe. JP McNamara takes over today and Flotta will be fit and raring to go here after a recent spin on the all-weather Advice 10pts win Other picks 355 Exeter: TOM SAYERS 245 Exeter: DOUBLE DIZZY 405 Chepstow: WAYWARD MELODY

Re: Daily donkeys. A NR and the rest having that air born virus 'seconditis' 2:20 Cheltenham: TURKO has been crying out for this stiffer test of stamina after being badly outpaced at Aintree latest and he can take advantage of his handy four-year-old weight allowancer. It ran well at both the big festivals at Aintree and Cheltenham and should give a good performance here. Advice 10pts win Other picks 4.20 Newmarket: Visionist(e/w) 5.35 Beverley: Unique Moment 5.45 Cheltenham: Pace shot

Re: Daily donkeys. shit day yesterday.

20 April 2006 2.55 Cheltenham: Ridden by the in-form Jockey Ruby Walsh TARANIS can complete his hat-trick here after his win at Wincanton last month. That win came after an operation to sort out a breathing problem and even with that win he wasnt fully fit, Highly regarded his only defeat over fences came when unseating at Doncaster in December. Despite being the top weight I cant see him getting beat today. Advice 10pts win Other picks 1.30 Newmarket - Mr Sandcliffe 3.10 Newmarket - Gin Jockey 3.45 Newmarket - Morghim 5.15 Cheltenham - Joe Blake

Re: Daily donkeys. 3.15 Newbury :GREEN MANALISHI David Arbuthnot last won this prize with the useful Monkston Point five years ago, and it's worth noting that David's record in the last ten years in this sprint is two from three. Course and distance winner GREEN MANALISHI was David's only potential representative at the five-day stage, whilst the booking of Philip Robinson looks significant. Philip has not ridden the five-year-old before, and the partnership can strike lucky first time upAdvice 5pts E/W Other picks 1.40 Newbury :Make me an offer 3.45 Newbury :Luberon 3.05 Thirsk :Tamagin

Re: Daily donkeys. 3.30 Ayr-IDLE TALK Idle Talk is a confident selection to land the Gala Casinos Daily Record Scottish Grand National. The dual winning chaser stayed on for a cracking second in the Royal & SunAlliance Chase last month and the lightly-raced seven-year-old has an impressive 50% strike rate under Rules, having won four of his eight starts and he has been crying out for this trip of four miles and a furlong. He has been boosted with the winner following up at Aintree and the fact that Idle Talk was conceding over half a stone to the winner as a weight-for-age allowance enhances his standing even more. Throw in the statistics that novices generally do well in the race and trainer Tom George has always thought highly of him he should run a good race today.. Advice 10pts win Other picks 2.15 Bangor-Dream Alliance 2.20 Ayr-Monet's Garden 1.50 Ayr-Shamayoun 2.30 Thirsk-Granny Peel

Re: Daily donkeys. 3.20 Wincanton: RODDY THE VET Despite a 7lb penalty for the win at Plumpton last Sunday RODDY THE VET looks set to go in agian today. It won by 14lengths and today it still runs with the minimum weight of 10stone. Trainer A.Ennis puts the blinkers on here again and should win here. Re: Daily donkeys. 3.00 Hexham: COY LAD The step back up in trip here should be ideal for T.Dobbins mount. It won a point-to-point at Friars Haugh before teaming up with Dobbin when finishing second over the bigger fences at Carlisle LTO. Cheekpieces left off this time but the better ground should help get his win today. Advice 10pts win Other picks 3.30 Hexham: Ballybrakes 2.40 Pont: Marmota 3.40 Pont: Great As Gold might even have a cheeky double with Dobbin today as he's on Bally and Coy:ok

Re: Daily donkeys. 2.20 Epsom: Before you go. T.Mills thinks plenty of this well bred colt who has been learning his trade on the AW. He should have an edge on his fitness today over some of his rivals since winning twice at Lingfield over the winter and will be hard to beat if he is as good as they think he is. Advice 10pts win Other picks 1.50 Epsom: DESERT LORD 3.50 Punch: WAR OF ATTRITION 4.35 Epsom: CATSPRADDLE

Re: Daily donkeys. I'm waiting for you to get them all win in 1 day before I congratulate you. This is partly because your dodgy football team denied me extra winnings a few weeks ago. Oh yeah and once in 1976 too and I hold you personally responsible as I don't know any other lunatics that support Blackburn Rovers. Apart from that, well done. PS This is sarcasm.

Re: Daily donkeys. maybe the lack of responce is the lack of write ups so here you go. 1.10 SANDOWN: FAASEL Despite 2 good runs at Cheltenham and last weekend in Scotland FAASEL should have the ground in its favour today if remaining fast enough. Im sure theres more to come from the Nicky Richards gelding and with Dobbin on board Im sure it can get the better of Noble Request who is 15lbs worse off today. 1.45 SANDOWN: CROSSPEACE Have a little nibble on CROSSPEACE maybe E/W if the odds allow it. Progressed as given increased test of stamina last year although was only one that ran his race when runaway winner from Day Flight and Orcadian of 1m4f Doncaster Listed event on final start. Entered for YORK on the 19th MAY this is it's prep run before the YORKSHIRE CUP who is 1 of 3 I fancy to win the big race that day. 4.45 PERTH: ALTITUDE DANCER Won four staying handicap hurdles on sound surface in spring 2005, the last of them off 10lb higher mark; another that has a lot to prove on recent efforts, all efforts in fact this winter/spring, but the better ground here should help.Moir Et Vert looks too short at 2/1 after a very hard race just 2 days ago here and with a 7lbs penalty today and an extra 3F.ALTITUDE DANCER is also back its favourite ground and connections hope for a big run today. other picks: 3.05 PERTH: BOHEMIAN SPIRIT 5.00 WOLV: BOND DIAMOND

Re: Daily donkeys. 4.00 Leicester: ETLAALA Barry Hills' colt looks the form horse in this 4.00 He turned what looked a possible duel with Mac Love into a procession outclassing his rival at Warwick LTO and looks impossible to oppose here, He was largely disappointing as a three-year-old but now as a 4yr old it looks to have grown into itself and can now fulfil the promise it once had. It will take a very good horse to stop him here as seven furlongs appears to be his optimum trip. 3.30 Leicester: SOAPY DANGER The short priced horse is SOAPY DANGER and the word from the stable is this horse is fully expected to win, full stop. 2.40 Sandown: DEMPSEY was brought down early @ Cheltenham in the queen mother early on but loves this track as it goes very well here. Its last 3 runs here form wise reads 112 Andrew Tinkler is once more in the saddle on this horse thats now trained by Carl Llewellyn. Llewellyn will be bouyed by last weeks first success as a trainer in The Scotish National. Hoo La Baloo was 6ls behind Dempsey on the 4th Feb this year(remember lads we were there;)) also in receipt of 10lbs but shouldnt get any closer because its 7lbs worse of Today. 3.40 Ripon: DR SHARP DR SHARP who will relish the conditions here today and will try and make all and dicate this race. Forecasted at 7/1 this horse is expected to run a big race. 5.30 Sandown: FIRESONG I'm a great believer in watching which jockey runs in the last race and I think the fact that frankie is running in the last race instead of going home is a tip in itself. FIRESONG had no luck in running when 2nd to Hail The Chief lto but can compensate in this flat versus jump jockeys challenge. It was boxed in LTO but Frankies greater tactical awareness can steer a much better route
