slapdash
Spotted this paperback in a bookshop earlier this week. I'm half way through it and it's a very good read. Each chapter is a mini-biography of a different poker player. Warts and all. It makes some of them sound like real cnuts! Probably won't improve your poker, although it does try to give some idea of various players' approach to the game.

slapdash
Re: "Aces and Kings" who's in it then? Damo :cheers Puggy Pearson, Amarillo Slim, Doyle Brunson, Chip Reese, Stu Ungar, Erik Seidel, Phil Hellmuth, Men Nguyen, Howard Lederer. That's where I've got up to. And then: Dave Ulliott, various women players, Chris Ferguson, "The Web Kids", Barry Greenstein, "The New Superstars". Not sure yet who "The Web Kids" or "The New Superstars" are, but I'm just off to curl up in bed with another few chapters.
