The fact you come on here to reply to Morls concerns and your honesty in your slight 'balls up' speaks volumes regarding your approach to customer care. Re: Goal Poker We are trying to be a bit different with the WC. Always dangerous but can be fun. FIFA is (reputedly) scared of empty stadiums as such tickets are a pain to source. Equally come in daft packages ensuring that for every good match you get entry to you will also have to go and watch (or at least buy tickets for) Costa Rica or another potentially bad game. Speaking candidly, we will have a ticket tourney and the prize will get a player to a decent match - in an uber cool situation - we believe! The main WC prize - which Morls has already won a place - we think is a much better way for footy fans to see the World Cup final. Be assured, we have not, will not ever lie or cheat players or mis-represent ourselves. We are a new site and like anything new in life are subject to the odd faux pas! If ever you think differently speak up, we will listen and adapt - if we agree;) Thanks for listening!

As Valiant says, :welcome to Punters Lounge, Goal Poker! and i wish to also add my thanks for taking time to reply to the posts regarding the prizes etc. Apart from the confusion of late, the goal poker site is a credit to poker, and ill continue to play and recommend it to my friends and family which im sure you will agree, for a new site starting off, this is the best form of advertising you can have! Todays posts from yourselves can only do your site the world of good, as after looking on Punters Lounge, im sure you have noted, there is a lot of interest in what happens with this. Once again, many thanks for the replies, and thanks for getting me excited again about the prize i have won! No probs. There will be two tourneys'ish per week leading up to the finals in June/July. Hope you enjoy them! The prizes will go out on next weeks mailers one of which you as a winner already have won!
I came 2nd in the 1 after Morl, do i get anything? :hope ........ from your WONDERFUL and GENEROUS site:ok Ps. Did i say what a WONDERFUL site you have?;)

I think this may be absolute poker which i downloaded ages ago and have not used since. I have tried emailing your support desk but have not received a reply and i really want to start entering some of these tournaments. Advice please, Ta

I came in 4th in the 8pm game - went out in my usual silly fashion when I suspected the SB was bluffing - he wasn't!!:lol I was on the final table for over an hour and was very impressed with the standard - thouroughly enjoyable night for a change.:ok
Glad to see others enjoying it, and hopefully a lot more people will play GP in the future, I dont mind running the GP thread for info and tourneys if thats ok?

I want to keep morls happy and off valium by letting her know what she has won. First off. The Champions League prize will be a final table offline and televised in a top London Casino. The prize pool will be $50,000 with top three being paid as per an online split. The winner will also receive a seriously nice ladies or gents watch and the honour of being the first recipient of The Champions League of Poker Cup. The entire table will party (hard) with Goalpoker in London and then the next day fly to Paris to watch the final of The FIFA Champions League at the Stade de France, repeat party etc. The World Cup. Tourney/prize one!(not you Morls) Winner will attend a World Cup match with a professional football scout. You will have official FIFA passes and tickets for the match and will spend the day living the life of a scout. You will be sat with the Scout who will be on a live project for either a country FA or top flight league team. His role will be to monitor a player reporting on his performance playing style/weaknesses etc. You will receive a bound copy of the report along with any photos etc for prosperity. Think you know football? try that for size! Tourney/prize 2 (this is you Morls) 50 players plus partner/friend will join Goalpoker in Ibiza for the alternative World Cup. Flying from London on the Goalpoker 737 you will spend three days in Ibiza. Drinks, accomodation, VIP entry to the Goalpoker World Cup Final screening and beach party. Leaving 8th, returning 10th this will be the ultimate weekender for 06. If you can party, try that for size! The tourneys will play out through March - early May and only one prize per registered player, suggest you invite your friends to sign up! As I say, keep quiet as the main mailer announcement will not go out till mid week. Thanks and good luck.
