The win at Newmarket recently was impressive, but you only to go back to early August when he was defeated around Newmarket by the likes of Establishment, who is 150/1 with Paddy Power today to win the Cesarewitch and who is actually Land 'n' Stars half-brother. Who is to say Land 'n Stars won't slump back into that form? She is just too unreliable and I wouldn't back her at such short odds. If she were 20/1 or higher, I may have had a stab, but I feel there is no value in a horse that hadn't shown an awful lot prior to her surprising win last time out in such a competitive field. Think it listed how much was riding on each horse for the next race, etc so you could get an idea through the meeting of how much the Placepot was likely to be. Anyone got it?
