StevieDay1983
The next round of Spanish La Liga matches are coming up this weekend and it's all getting a little intense in this back end of the season. The top three of Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atletico Madrid all pulled off victories last week. The following seven placed sides all dropped points which has left the battle for the remaining European qualification places wide open. Valencia made it 2 wins from 3 league games last weekend to help move them out of the relegation spots but can they build on those wins? Tell us your bets for these matches! StefanBB
Barcelona vs Real Madrid Barcelona will want to continue from where they left off last time out with a 1-0 La Liga success against Athletic Bilbao. That victory kept Barca's nine-point advantage against their fierce rivals intact. Under three goals per game were recorded in 5 of the last six fixtures in which Barcelona has taken part. In terms of the goal attribution from this period, opposing sides scored an aggregate of 3 while Barcelona managed the sum of 6. Heading into this fixture, Barcelona hasn't been defeated in their previous 12 league matches at home. A run that they'll hope to extend here. Adrià Pedrosa (Groin Injury) and Keidi Bare (Ruptured ankle ligament) are not available for Barcelona boss Xavi Hernández. Real Madrid heads into the match following a 1-0 Champions League win to beat Liverpool in their previous fixture. However, Los Blancos need to provide a serious effort to retain the La Liga title at the end of the campaign. Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid has fired home ten times throughout their previous six matches. The aggregate of goals that have been scored against them during those same clashes equals 5. The defending champions have not lost to Barcelona in away games against them for the last three matches in the league. Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has not got a full squad to pick from. Ferland Mendy (Muscle Injury) and David Alaba (Hamstring Injury) can't be considered. Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction El Clasico is never easy to predict, and in their most recent clash, Barcelona celebrated in Madrid in Copa del Rey. We think Real Madrid will be more focused on winning the Champions League while Barcelona seeks La Liga glory. Therefore, we don't see the away side winning this match. Goals Market Prediction Both teams have been involved in low-scoring games lately that didn't produce more than one goal. Barcelona conceded only eight goals in the Spanish top flight, and we expect another low-scoring game on Sunday evening.
