Ross County v Rangers: Tillman to get an assist at 5/2 and to get 2+ at 16/1, both with Sky Bet

Now it's fair to say that my fixed odds assist bets come with a wealth warning and I've probably issued at least one "shoot me if you see me going near one" order before now but bear with...

I noticed that he got a couple of assists against Hibs (a game in which I'd sold Tavernier's assist minutes so was glad to see anyone else getting them). Since getting one in his last appearance as a sub he's got 3 in the 8 SPL games he's started, including that "brace". This will only be the new manager's 3rd game in charge and he seems to like the player;

"New Rangers manager Michael Beale may have aged a few years in his first couple of games, with his side coming from behind to beat Hibs and then Aberdeen. He will also be thankful for the nifty footwork from Malik Tillman, who helped set up the winning goals on both occasions. The 20-year-old is blessed with wonderful balance on the ball and has been given license to get forward more often under Beale, who has already expressed his desire to keep the USA international when his loan from Bayern Munich expires."

All in all I'd say he shouldn't be much (if at all) bigger than 2/1 to get an assist against tonight's opponents and SPIN seem to agree as they pitch his assist minutes at 22-25 making him the favourite in that market.

PP go 3/1 for him to score and better is available on the exchange. That may be worth a look as well. (Paddy also go evens for a goal or assist.) He has 3 SPL goals and one in the CL this season and has scored or assisted in 4 of those 8 starts since his last outing as a sub.

I've gone in on Rangers asian hcp -2.0 at 2.26 so minimum 2 goal margin I'd want to see tonight.

On Tillman to score at 4.4. As I expected it qualified as a system bet as has Sakala at 3.2 and (if I get matched) Tavernier at 3.5 or more.

Let's just say that not getting matched on Tavernier was the closest I came to a winner on that game!
