? I'm starting this topic to register all my bets until December 31st 2023.

After switching to trade offplay, I will continue in this direction, because I feel that the possibilities of making money are there.  I will rarely play on classic bets.

Why am I switching to trade offplay?

I have to admit that despite the good years at the beginning, betting has made me lose money for the last 3-4 years.
I can't control my bets anymore, and I play everything and anything.
The trade offplay could help me to be more patient, and to spend more time searching for the right information instead of playing stupidly 50% of my bank on a match between two unknowns in tennis ?

How I will bet ?

After a week of watching the horse racing markets, despite the huge amounts matched, the market is far too volatile and difficult to analyze, so I'm going to abandon this idea.

Personally, I'm much better at sports, especially football.

As long as the event is popular and the matched amounts are high, the possibility of a successful trade offplay is there.

The World Cup is a very good time to start.

I will not completely divulge my selection criteria.

To tell the truth, I was interested in trade offplay a few years ago, but my bank would not allow me.


The bank :

For me, the offplay trade with a £500 bank is not interesting. You need a big bank.

After closing the last thread, I have to admit that I had the idea of increasing my bank so that I could start the offplay trade with a very big bank. I didn't play much, and solved my bets well. The result was positive, but obviously in the long term it is not possible!

So I'm going to withdraw and save almost £1000, and start with a £3000 bank. This may seem like a lot, but for the offplay trade it's a small bank.

Regarding the bets, as it is offplay we will be able to bet up to %50 of the bank. obviously all bets will be closed Offplay!


The goal:

I don't really have an idea of how much I can earn each month. Ideally, I would like to win about 7-10% of my bank, but the main thing is to move forward serenely.

 

Outside Bank :

For the world cup I also took some bets for the winner:
Brazil @4.8
France @8.2
Belgium @20

Probably counts as "harsh but fair" to say on all available form it would be unprecedented for you to run a single thread until the end of December this year let alone next. In spread betting terms the quote for number of new threads started between now and December 23 would probably be something like 10-12. But as you always say when I offer a vaguely pessimistic take on yet another thread, "we'll see".

I've kind of given up on being interested in what you actually do on your threads anymore purely because I'm jaded by the constant repetition of starting a new thread with a bold mission statement, failing to stick to it then rinse and repeat. If this thread is still going as per the stated methodology at Easter I'll be surprised and impressed.

One thing I would request though, please stop after-timing any big wins you might have when not posting on here. It's poor form and casts doubt on your credibility and integrity. It feels like you abandon another thread, stop posting for a while, place a load of reckless bets and can't resist telling us in the event of any of them winning. I let it go the last one or two times but it's getting to become a (bad) habit.

:ok I'd assumed it was meant to be Wales rather than a top-up on the USA game.

While I'm on my high-horse about iffy behaviour (i.e. after-timing) you're not supposed to edit the posts with the selections in. I'd say that's even more important in a trading thread (a little tweak of the price could turn a losing trade into a winning one). Whilst I don't suspect you of dishonesty in those respects you end up leaving yourself open to those suspicions if you edit your bet posts.

I have corrected and re-published trade 2.

In the future I will not modify the posts. 
In case of mistake I will publish again. No confusion possible because my bets are numbered.

On the first two trades I could have done much better.

Practice is different from all the tests you can do!

experience will make me win these trades.


- I absolutely must be able to take better odds.

For example, if I wait and place a bet on England @1.63, I would have been matched. In the end I got @1.58 and the difference will be huge. If I don't get matched, it doesn't matter

 

- I don't have to wait to get out of the market.

For example on trade 4 I can exit the market at +£4 and on trade 2 I can exit at +£8.

 

Some readjustments to be made.
