Glory Hunts tend to fall into 3 broad categories:

  • "Regular" betting where people are just chronicling their bets in one place and tracking their profit/loss
  • "Double up" threads where stakes are rolled over on short priced selections with a view to making a profit
  • "Consecutive bets" threads where the aim is to place as many consecutive winning bets as possible, often with a view to getting on the leaderboard

The latter category is usually more about the fun/enjoyment of the chase rather than done with the intent of making a serious profit.
