DarrenTse
FC Barcelona vs Sevilla FC Barcelona The Catalan giants have won their previous five league games and have been unbeaten in Spain's top flight since the beginning of December, allowing them to climb into the top-four. Barcelona went into the international break on the strength of a 4-0 triumph over Real Madrid. Xavi's team now have second-placed Sevilla on their radar, but Real Madrid still leads the standings by 12 points. Sevilla Sevilla have only won one of their past five league games and two of their last nine, with seven draws in that time, putting them nine points behind Real Madrid in the standings. Sevilla are now only three points ahead of fourth-placed Atletico Madrid. Los Nervionenses have only lost two of their 15 league away games this season, giving them the fifth-best away record in Spain's top flight for 2021-22. Prediction Barcelona are on a roll at the moment, and we are expecting the Catalan side to pick up another three points in this match. Sevilla do not lose often but are missing some key players, and we are finding it difficult to back Lopetegui's side to pick up a positive result on Sunday evening due to the form of both teams. StefanBB
Barcelona vs Sevilla Barcelona will be hoping for a repeat of their last result, following a 4:0 La Liga success vs Real Madrid. The hosts won five times in a row in the domestic championship, which launched them just three points behind their upcoming rivals. Their most recent results highlight the fact that huge efforts have been put in by the Barcelona rearguard. Barcelona has been miserly, seeing the total number of goals that have gone past their goalkeeper during their past six matches, standing at 2. If they pick up where they left off, the hosts will level up with Sevilla in the 2nd position. Regarding the selection issues, Moussa Wagué will not be able to play in this game through being suspended. Sevilla drew 0:0 in the La Liga match with Real Sociedad in the previous match. Although they haven’t lost 15 times in a row in La Liga, they have been involved in many tied games. Sevilla is now nine points behind Real Madrid but only three points ahead of Barcelona. For 5 of the previous six clashes in which Sevilla participated, a relatively small number of goals were scored between them and the opposing team. The total average of goals scored per game in that period is only 1.33, with an average goal of Sevilistas of 0.67. The away side needs to extend its unbeatable streak if they want to stay in the same position after this round. Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction Barcelona is in better momentum after beating Real Madrid very confidently away from home. Although Sevilla is a tough opponent, we expect Barcelona to win this game and continue the run. Goals Market Prediction Sevilla has been involved in many low-scoring matches lately since just two of the last 11 went over a 2.5 margin. We believe they will retain the discipline in the back, and we shouldn’t see more than two goals in total in this game.
