The Yanks are undefeated in their last 18 home games and currently rank second position in the Octagon phase. They have conceded the opening goal three times in eight qualifiers this season, but have shown enough resiliency to make it through the second half for scoring four goals in a 4-1 win over Honduras and beat Costa Rica 2-1 in October. El Salvador El Salvador sit second-to-last with six points after losing 2-1 away to Panama in their previous qualifier - eight points behind Mexico after eight games. The team have had a tough battle away from home in the Octagon but have little to show for losing all three of their away games so far against Canada, Panama and Costa Rica. Prediction Although they are good in their last game against the USA, El Salvador are a different team when they play away.
