StevieDay1983
The Football Association has confirmed it is looking into suspicious betting activity in the EFL Cup Semi-Final match involving Arsenal and Liverpool during midweek. It is being reported that a single in-play bet of £55,000 was placed on Gunners central midfielder Granit Xhaka being given a yellow card during the game. This event did occur late in the game. Personally, I'm not sure backing Xhaka to do something calamitous like receiving a yellow card is overly suspicious. If I had £55,000 to place on a football bet then backing Xhaka to get booked during a game would be up there with my most likely options to bet on! What do you all think? Suspicious or just common betting sense? https://www.justarsenal.com/more-details-on-why-fa-is-probing-suspicious-betting-possibly-involving-arsenal/301724
