Mmhmm well I always say "Oh is Paire clowning around again" as is the case always in these lower ATPs and not any different when he met Ruusuvuori last season in the US. up a set and a break serving for it. BROKEN 0-40 lost tb, waterbreak = Paire throwing his bottles across the court and laying down on the bench pretending to sleep. Match goes on 3rd set, Paire down a break and retires.

Alex De Minaur to beat Mackenzie McDonald at 1.50 with BetVictor

I did side with Mackenzie last time out, but this is a bad match-up for him. AdM sort of does everything he can, but better, and his win over Goffin in the first round was as convincing as wins go. Short odds, but Minaur was well-known for being able to dispatch these opponents efficiently and he seems to have found his groove again.

yeah de minaur and macdonald legit have prety much the same game, wit alex being a better defender and maybe server though IMO.  What do you think about popyrin khachanov ? games over or khachanov to just win ?

@Torque what do you think about Decamps? I see high potential.

I haven't heard of him tbh, but with a high ranking in the 400's and at the age of 22 it's hard to imagine he has that much potential. Having said that, he could be a late developer like you sometimes see.

Talking of late bloomers, Otte could definitely be put into that category and I'm backing him to beat Sock tonight. Mainly that's because of Sock's physical struggles recently - he's given a walkover and retired in his last few matches. Even if he is fully fit, Otte has a very good record on indoor hard since last season. The price has dropped since I got involved, but I'm putting this up in case the thinking behind my pick is of use to anyone else.

Sock was far too good - particularly on first serve. If he can stay fit he should be able to get back up the rankings because on talent he's got to be top 50 at least and maybe higher.

The Rotterdam tournament is tricky. Balls are not the normal and the court is slower. Go and listen to Rublev's interview after yesterday's match. Big servers are not getting the free points they expect. I see a few upsets today. I think Murray loses to a bang in form Alex Bublik. Bublik coming off a tournament win beating Zverev, Bautista Agut and 3 other pretty decent players.  Not much of an upset here, but Ivashka probably beats Harris.  I just don't like Hurkacz on this slower surface. He just looks so ungainly ... would be taking Musetti on the games handicap here. I think Norrie will enjoy the court surface against Khachanov and wins a close one.

In the low odds matchups De Minuar has a perfect style matchup with McDonald, and Krajinovic has similar with Fucsovics. Kwon beats Gaston all day.

Petra Kvitova to beat Irina Begu at 1.44 with Pinnacle

I was very reluctant to back Kvitova after those freak shows in Australia, but she was crushing it in the first round and this is another great match-up for her. She leads the rivalry 5-0 and the fact that she doesn't have to play outside in the heat has proved to be a real boon for her.

For some reason Sock has been drafted to US DC team lately and this explains why.

Gabriel Decamps was a really good hardcourt junior player. Had 81% win rate on hard and lost only 8 matches and won over 80. Rankad no.17 january 2017.

Come on guys watch out for this guy. Don't go against him if he's on hardcourt.

moroni vs descamps is pain in the eyes and unwatchable...

At the ATP in Dallas I can't see much between Isner and Anderson. Just a serve bot contest, but Anderson will get better. That's a very tough, dedicated guy. Definitely getting trhe odds to go against Isner here. Nakashima regulation over Johnston.

In Buenos Aires I simply can't see 38 year old Verdasco competing, against a South American well used to the conditions. 3.8 to 10 looks fair odds for the Monteiro win. Ruud aklso wins easily. Small treble Ruud, Monteiro and Nakashima is 12 to 10 which is OK, and a double on Norrie over Khachanov and Bublik over Murray (3.2 to 1). Bublik a giant, in the absolute prime of his life with confidence, is a very tough task for Murray.

Good luck @neilovan Personally I couldn't be backing Monteiro at such a short price as he's so unreliable - agree about Ruud though. Isner v Anderson looks like it could go either way, so whichever player gives you plus money looks the way to go. I like Norrie over Khachanov as he's the more complete player but I wouldn't want to back Bublik. Tournament winners from last week have been bombing out early so far.
