Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid

Kick Off: 12/12/2021 16:00

Real Madrid

Real Madrid have done well this season. After beating Real Sociedad 0-2 away in the League last weekend, they have achieved 12W-3D-1L in 16 games, allowing Ancelotti's side to take 39 points, 8 points higher than the second Seville and 10 points ahead of the fourth Atletico Madrid. At the same time, they also entered the Champions League knockout as the first place of Group D - having incredibly won each of their last nine games across all competitions.

Atletico Madrid

Diego Simeone's men suffered a 2-1 home loss to Mallorca last weekend, with the result making them fall to the fourth position in the league table, two points behind the second Sevilla and ten points off the leader. Nevertheless, Atletico Madrid won a huge victory in the Champions League on Tuesday, beating Porto 3-1 and book their spot in the last-16 spots as the second place of Group B. Moreover, they are the second-highest scorer in league this season with 27 goals, second only to Real Madrid.

Prediction

Real Madrid will be confident of winning 10 consecutive games this weekend, and we initially preferred to succeed at home here. However, Atletico Madrid often get results when they need them most. We just think Simeone's team will do enough to ensure a share.

Pick: Real Madrid to be unbeaten

Final Results: 2-1, 1-1

Cadiz vs Granada CF

Kick Off: 12/13/2021 16:00

Cadiz

The 18th Cadiz loss 3-1 to Elche in the last league game - took only 12 points from the opening 16 games. Alvaro Cervera's men have lost their last three in the league to Getafe, Atletico Madrid and Elche and have conceded 7 goals in the process - having the worst defensive record in La Liga this season for conceding 30 goals in their 16 games.

Granada CF

Granada will enter the game after a 2-1 win over Alaves last weekend - their third victory of the season, which made them 15th-placed in the table - thus the team escaped the relegation zone and three-placed higher Cadiz. Granada are unbeaten in their last three matches across all competitions, having drawn 2-2 with Athletic Bilbao in the league before beating Laguna 0-7 away in the Copa del Rey.

Prediction

Cadiz's form is poor at this stage, and Granada have shown improvement in recent weeks. We are support the visitor at least get one point in this huge game.

Pick: Granada to be unbeaten

Final Results: 0-1, 1-1

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid

Real Madrid has been very dominant lately, as they have celebrated their ninth straight win on Tuesday. They have secured the top spot in the Champions League group stage with a 2:0 victory over Inter. Carlo Ancelotti’s side leads the La Liga title race, being eight points ahead of Sevilla. Real Madrid has been very disciplined in the back lately, as they conceded only once in the previous five games. On the other hand, Los Blancos have been pretty productive, scoring 37 goals in 16 matches. Karim Benzema will be doubtful for this clash, but Luka Jovic served well to backup him. Real Madrid wants to continue its streak and increase its advantage on the top spot.

Atletico Madrid hasn’t been that convincing this season. Despite winning in Porto on Tuesday and advancing to the knockout stage, they booked only three wins on the previous seven occasions. The defending champions sit in 4th place, being ten points behind their fierce rivals, but having a game in hand. However, a defeat in this clash could hurt their title bid severely. Diego Simeone’s side struggles to keep discipline in the back, conceding in each of the last four games. He will also have selection issues, as Luis Suarez will be questionable for this game. Nevertheless, Atletico Madrid wants to put another good away display and stay in the title race.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Derby matches are always tough to predict, but Real Madrid has been in much better form. Their confidence is sky-high, and the hosts don’t want to miss this chance. Therefore, we believe Los Blancos will beat their fierce rivals.

Goals Market Prediction

Their recent head-to-head clashes haven’t been very efficient, and the previous five stayed under a 2.5 margin. Since Real Madrid is very disciplined in defense, we don’t expect to see more than two goals in total.

Real Madrid to Win @ 1.50

Under 2.5 FT @ 1.55

Correct score 2:0 @ 11.00

Interesting ref appointments in Spain and Italy tonight (Ortiz and Prontera respectively) in that neither has handled more than 10 top flight games so far and both have shown a leaning towards "middling" (i.e. 4-6 cards) totals. Both showed more cards in their 2nd tier games.

4-6 cards can be backed at 21/20 in each game which is just below my usual minimum odds but, given the stats, I've done a 15 point double on both games seeing between 4-6 cards. I wouldn't put anyone off just playing the singles (one for a tiny profit) but I've plumped for the double.

15 points on 4-6 cards shown in each of the games at Roma and Cadiz, both at 21/20 with Hills.

Best price other than that is <5.5 cards at evens with 365 in the Spanish game but I refuse on principal to "officially" post any bet where I can't even get 365 pence on at such a short price! :wall

Сadiz vs. Granada

Cadiz
Cadiz spends this championship in Spain modestly, being at the moment in the standings only in 19th place, having 12 points on its account and lagging behind a safe line by three points.
The Yellow-Blue managed to win only two victories for the entire tournament distance, they ended six meetings with world outcomes and were defeated in eight cases.
The last time the team was able to get hold of points in early November, then beat Athletic away with a score of 1-0, after which they lost three matches in a row. In the last round there was an away fiasco from Elche 1-3.
At home in this drawing Examples Cadiz has not yet won. In eight meetings, he has four draws and the same number of defeats.

Granada
After 15 matches, Granada is in the 15th position in the Spanish championship standings, ahead of the upcoming opponent by three points.
The Nasrids in this championship were able to win only three wins, and they also drew six times and lost the same number of times. Note that in the last eight rounds of Examples, they suffered only two defeats, one of which was from Real Madrid.
In the last round of the championship, the team at home was able to defeat Alaves, having won with a score of 2-1. Before that, the red - whites team did not win for three games, losing twice in this segment.
Outside the home walls, Granada in this drawing of Examples celebrated only one victory, lost three times and finished four meetings with peace.

The teams have drawn almost half of their games this season. And from their face-to-face confrontation it is quite possible to expect a peaceful outcome, since the teams are very close in class.
