Crystal Palace

They have not got any victory this season so far. And they have been knocked out of England League Cup by Watford, which hurts their morale. Now they rank the fourteenth in the table of the League with only two points.

Tottenham Hotspur

They are sitting in the first place in League table at present because of a three-match winning streak. And they come into Group stage of UEFA Europa Conference League. They are in high morale now.

Verdict:

Crystal Palace are not in form while Tottenham Hotspur are in good condition. In addition, Tottenham Hotspur get 7W-2W-1L from Crystal Palace in past head to head clashes, which take the upper hand. So Tottenham Hotspur will possibly win in upcoming game.

Prediction: 0-2, 0-1

Leicester City

They won the champion of the League in 2015/16 season. Although they only ranked the fifth in last season, they won the first prize of England FA Cup and England Association Community Shield.

Manchester City

They did not sign Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro or Harry Kane. What’s worse, Sergio Leonel Kun Aguero leave the team. But they are still competitive. They get a three-match winning streak recently even with three clean sheets.

Verdict:

Manchester City are on a run now, getting a three-match winning streak, with 11 scoring goals but no conceding goal. In their last clash, Leicester City defeat Manchester City at 1-0. It is time for Manchester City to make a revenge.

Prediction: 1-2, 1-3

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham

The Premier League action kicks off this weekend with a 12:30pm BST start on Saturday lunchtime between a struggling Crystal Palace and league leaders Tottenham at Selhurst Park. The all-London affair will see two teams who have experienced contrasting starts to their respective campaigns go head-to-head as these two new managers look to get their first wins in a London derby for their new clubs.

Crystal Palace made a bold decision in appointing Patrick Vieira as their new gaffer and so far it's not really working out too well for the Eagles. The club have taken 2 points from their first 3 league matches but they'll be disappointed they didn't pick up at least one win from those games against Chelsea, Brentford, and West Ham. Still, it's early days for Vieira and his team will be boosted by the potential debuts of summer signings Michael Olise and Odsonne Edouard. Captain Luka Miliojevic is also likely to make his first start of the season. Vieira had a superb record against Tottenham during his playing days losing just 2 of his 18 Premier League matches against the club. A concern for Vieira will be that Palace have had the fewest shots on goal in the division so far this season managing just 20 shots on goal with only 5 being on target. If Palace fans are hoping for some inspiration from talisman Wilfried Zaha then they might want to look away now because the forward hasn't scored or assisted in 12 Premier League games against Spurs.

Tottenham are enjoying being top of the table right now as the only club in the top flight with a 100% record after 3 league games. Nuno Espirito Santo has transferred his methodical approach to defending over to the Spurs back-line and it's resulted in three hard-fought 1-0 wins over Manchester City, Wolves, and Watford. The news that Harry Kane is set to remain at the club has also been a massive boost to the team and their fans. The club haven't won their opening 4 league games to a season since the 2009/10 season. Santo could become just the second manager in Premier League history, after Joe Royle in 1994 at Everton, to start his reign at a club with four clean sheets. There is further optimism for Tottenham though with the club not only doing the business at the defensive end but also scoring in 18 consecutive league matches.

I think we can assume from the way both of these teams have started this season that we can expect a rather conservative game of football. Neither side are setting the world alight with attacking flair but Tottenham are just edging it in terms of nicking the odd goal and doing just about enough. Can they keep doing that or will they fall short soon? Will it happen here? I actually think the 1-0 win for Tottenham is too tempting to avoid. I can certainly see Spurs winning with a clean sheet again. I just think Palace are still learning and adapting under Vieira so games like this could well pass them by.

Arsenal vs Norwich

The Premier League will have six 3pm BST kick-offs on Saturday afternoon in a packed schedule. One of those is the clash between the two bottom placed sides Arsenal and Norwich at the Emirates Stadium. You'd think this would be a one-sided affair looking on paper but both sides have endured an awful start to their league campaign and it's actually the travelling team who enter this game as the higher placed side.

Arsenal fans won't want to spend much time looking at the league table right now. Not only are the Gunners sitting rock bottom of the league but their arch rivals Tottenham are currently flying high. Mikel Arteta has come under fire for not producing the results or performances that are demanded for his role. Arsenal have lost all three of their league games so far without scoring a single goal against Brentford, Chelsea, and Manchester City. The 6-0 win away to Championship side West Brom in the EFL Cup 2nd Round was a rare shining light in this season but even that result was expected. Arteta will be pleased to have the quartet of Eddie Nketiah, Ben White, Thomas Partey, and Gabriel all back fit and training. However, he'll likely be without Emile Smith Rowe, Granit Xhaka, and Mohamed Elneny. This is the first time since 1954 that Arsenal have started a season with three straight defeats. The last time they lost their first four league games of a season was way back in 1923. The optimistic news is that they are unbeaten in 30 Premier League home games. Tim Krul has also conceded 22 goals in his last 8 appearances against Arsenal. Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 4 goals in his last 2 Premier League matches against Norwich.

Norwich are once again finding life difficult to adjust to in the Premier League. Daniel Farke claimed his team had learned from their mistakes last time around and we'd see a different Norwich side this season. Well, we're three games in and it's three losses for the Canaries with 1 goal scored and 10 goals conceded. Admittedly, those games have been against Liverpool, Manchester City, and Leicester but still. If Norwich lose this game then they'll equal the club record of starting a season with four straight defeats that was last set back in 1938. If you include stretching back to their last stint in the top flight, Norwich have now lost 13 consecutive league games in the top division by an aggregate score of 34-2. Norwich don't appear to enjoy travelling to London in the top flight either having failed to win any of their last 23 visits to the capital city.

I have a feeling the first goal will be crucial here. Arsenal have won 13 of their last 15 when scoring the opening goal in the Premier League where as Norwich have lost 41 of the previous 42 Premier League games where they have conceded first. We can expect to see Arsenal starting fast to try and get that opening goal and I think they will. This really should be the game where Arsenal get their season started with a win.

Brentford vs Brighton

The 3pm BST kick-offs continue in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon with a fascinating clash between two in-form sides of Brentford and Brighton at the Brentford Community Stadium. Both teams have enjoyed their respective starts to the league campaign with the home side going unbeaten thus far and the away side winning 2 of their opening 3 league matches. Will either side take all 3 points here?

Brentford have hit the Premier League big time with a bang. The famous 2-0 win at home to Arsenal in their opening game was followed up by a 0-0 draw away to Crystal Palace and a 1-1 draw away to Aston Villa. Thomas Frank will welcome back Frank Onyeka for this game after his covid isolation but will have to do without the duo of Mads Sorensen and Josh Dasilva. The Bees have the opportunity to become just the second team after Portsmouth in 2003/04 to go their opening four Premier League games undefeated. It's now 15 league games unbeaten stretching back into last season for Brentford and it's 9 home league games unbeaten. Striker Ivan Toney got off the mark with his 7th minute goal against Villa. He has now scored 56 league goals since the beginning of the 2019/20 season which is the highest goal tally by any player in the top four English divisions.

Brighton look a much more formidable unit this season. Graham Potter's side started the season with a 2-1 win away to Burnley and then a 2-0 victory at home to Watford before a 2-0 loss at home to Everton. Unfortunately, the Seagulls have a terrible record in London having won just 3 of their last 22 Premier League away games in the capital city. Defence has been key for Brighton's evolution under Potter this calendar year with only Chelsea and Manchester City keeping more clean sheets than Brighton's 10 during 2021 so far. Strangely, Shane Duffy's 8 shots on goal is the highest by any Brighton player so far this season. New signing Marc Cucurella could be in line for a debut and Solly March is expected to return from his injury absence.

There is the chance that Brighton could become the third club to lose to Brentford in all four top divisions in English football if they fall to a defeat here with Grimsby and Huddersfield being the previous two. Brighton have only won 1 of their last 9 away league matches at Brentford and given that Brentford have only lost 3 games at their Brentford Community Stadium then this could be a challenge if the history books are anything to go by. I'm torn between a Brentford win and a draw.

Leicester City vs Manchester City

These two sides faced each other in the Community Shield, and the Foxes surprisingly lifted the trophy. Their disciplined performance brought them a narrow 1:0 win and a boost of confidence after the shocking finish of the last campaign. Brendan Rodgers’ side slipped down from the top four in the closing round and failed to qualify for the Champion League. Although they sit in ninth place at the moment, Leicester City celebrated two times in the first three rounds. Jamie Vardy and the lads beat Wolves and Norwich City, while they lost to West Ham 4:1. A tough challenge is ahead of them as they host the defending champions.

After missing the chance to win the Community Shield, Manchester City suffered another defeat. Despite being favorites at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, they lost 1:0 to the hard-working Spurs. However, Pep Guardiola’s side quickly bounced back with two comfortable victories. Ilkay Gundogan and the lads beat Norwich City and Arsenal, each 5:0, and haven’t lost the pace in the race for the very top spot. The visitors seem to have reached the proper form, and we’ll see if they can keep up at King Power Stadium. However, the Citizens cannot count on suspended Ederson and Gabriel Jesus, while Kevin de Bruyne and Phil Foden are still doubtful.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Although Leicester City is a tricky opponent, especially at the home ground, we doubt they can beat Man City twice in a short timeframe. The visitors have been very confident lately, and they should get back home with all three points.

Goals Market Prediction

Their encounters at King Power Stadium haven’t been too productive lately, as we saw the last two games remaining under a 2.5 margin. This clash shouldn’t be much different, and we shouldn’t see more than two goals in total.

Manchester United vs Newcastle United

The hosts opened the campaign at Old Trafford with a confident 5:1 victory over Leeds United. However, they struggled in the following two matches on the road but picked up four points in total. The Red Devils extended their unbeatable run when playing away from home, and the ball is in their backyard now. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side is joint-second with four other teams, being two points behind Tottenham Hotspur. Cristiano Ronaldo will be in focus in this game, as the home fans are excited to see him back in the Red Devils’ jersey. We will see how successful he can be at his comeback to Old Trafford.

On the other hand, this could be a tough season for the away side. Newcastle United sits in 17th place, just one above the red line. They picked up only one point in a draw against Southampton at home before the international break. Steve Bruce needs to tighten his team’s defense, as the Magpies already conceded eight goals. Callum Wilson leads his team in the front, but someone else needs to step up as he will be out of the contest for this match. The visitors will struggle for survival, and they need to improve if they want to stay up.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Manchester United is a firm favorite here, and we don’t see the Magpies being capable of pulling a surprise here. Cristiano Ronaldo will look forward to imposing himself at the comeback, and the hosts could celebrate a comfortable victory.

Goals Market Prediction

The Red Devils have been productive at their pitch, while Newcastle United has severe defensive problems. Their last four head-to-head meetings at Old Trafford went over a 3.5 margin, and we expect a similar scenario on Saturday afternoon.

Leicester vs Manchester City

One of the most exciting fixtures scheduled to take place in the Premier League this weekend is the 3pm BST kick-off on Saturday afternoon between Leicester and Manchester City at the King Power Stadium. Both of these sides have won 2 matches but lost 1 leaving them upper mid-table. Failure to win this game will push them even further back down the table and raise a few concerned eyebrows.

Leicester sit in 9th place but are only 3 points off league leaders Tottenham. Brendan Rodgers' side have earned a 1-0 home win over Wolves to start their campaign before a disappointing 4-1 hammering came at the hands of West Ham away followed but the club bounced back by beating newly promoted Norwich by a 2-1 score-line away. It's been far from convincing stuff from the Foxes so far. The club will be hoping the defensive duo of Jonny Evans and Jannik Vestergaard can be included in the squad today. New signing Ademola Lookman could be set for his debut too. If Leicester win this game then it'll be the first time since 1966 that they've won their first two home league games of a top flight season. If you're looking for an anytime scorer bet then Jamie Vardy has bagged 8 goals in 10 Premier League games against Pep Guardiola's sides.

Manchester City were tipped as one of the favourites to win the league title this season but their title defence got off to a terrible start with the 1-0 loss away to Tottenham on the opening weekend. Back-to-back 5-0 wins over Norwich and Arsenal have boosted the Citizens' points tally and goal difference but they remain down in 7th place. Guardiola knows his team are at risk of losing both of their opening two away league games in the Premier League for the first time since 2006. They have now lost four matches away from the Etihad Stadium in a row now including the FA Community Shield and Champions League Final from last season. Ferran Torres has seen his form sneakily improve now having scored 7 goals in his last 9 appearances in the league.

It was in this season's FA Community Shield that Leicester inflicted a loss on Manchester City. However, City will be looking to claim a third straight away league win with a victory here. This is a clash between two attack-minded sides and even though Leicester drew first bloody last month I still feel this is a game that City will likely win. We could be in for a thriller if there's an early goal to set the tone.

Manchester United vs Newcastle

If you don't know what the big story is ahead of the Manchester United versus Newcastle game this Saturday then you've either been living under a rock or you've had the longest spell of covid isolation known to man. It's the return of Cristiano Ronaldo to his former club and the action begins at 3pm BST from Old Trafford. Can CR7 mark his return with a match-winning display? Will he even start? Ooh, it's all very exciting!

Manchester United have started this season reasonably well with 7 points from their opening 3 league games leaving the club in 3rd place. A convincing 5-1 win at home to rivals Leeds was tempered by a 1-1 draw away to Southampton but that was followed up by a pleasing 1-0 win away to Wolves. The deadline day signing of Ronaldo sent shockwaves around the football world and the eyes of the football community will all be on this game to see how the Portuguese national team captain performs. Interestingly Ronaldo has bagged 48 hat-tricks during his club career and he grabbed the first of those against Newcastle back in January, 2008. The Red Devils have now scored in 14 successive home league games. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has also seen his team lose just 3 of their last 35 league matches. Mason Greenwood could become just the fourth teenager to score in 4 straight Premier League appearances after Robbie Fowler, Francis Jeffers, and Nicolas Anelka.

Newcastle come into this game suffering from a double injury blow with star striker Callum Wilson and creative midfielder Ryan Fraser both ruled out. Steve Bruce's side have only picked up 1 point from their first 3 league games with the team down in 17th place. The Magpies Lost 4-2 to West Ham at home and then 2-0 away to Aston Villa but managed to grind out an unimpressive 2-2 draw at home to Southampton in their most recent game. This is the team's worst start to a Premier League campaign since 1999 when they failed to pick up a single point after 3 league games. The team have conceded a penalty in each of their three league games so far. Given how easily Bruno Fernandes goes down in the box it could well be worth backing United to score a penalty at Newcastle's expense. Bruce has only managed 1 win in 26 attempts against Manchester United as manager.

It feels like this is Ronaldo's homecoming and nobody is going to ruin it. Especially not an out-of-form Newcastle side that is bereft of confidence and a couple of key players. The fact Bruce has lost 11 of his last 12 matches away to United is further evidence that the history books are also against the visitors. I can see Manchester United running riot and you wouldn't bet against Ronaldo getting his name on the score sheet.

Southampton vs West Ham

The penultimate 3pm BST kick-off I'm covering in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon is the clash between Southampton and West Ham at St Mary's Stadium. This is an encounter between a home side that is yet to taste a victory in the league so far this season up against a visiting team that haven't experienced a defeat from their league matches so far this campaign.

Southampton were a side that many tipped to struggle after the late transfer window departures of star striker Danny Ings and key centre back Jannik Vestergaard. Ralph Hasenhuttl's side have had the anticipated tough start many foresaw with an opening weekend 3-1 loss away to Everton followed up by a morale-boosting 1-1 draw at home to Manchester United but then a disappointing 2-2 draw away to Newcastle. The Saints are set to be without the quartet of Theo Walcott, Stuart Armstrong, Will Smallbone, and Shane Long. The club's poor form in 2021 has continued into this season with the team losing a top division high of 16 matches this calendar year. Defence is still a concern for Southampton with the club keeping just 1 clean sheet in their last 24 league games.

West Ham have kept their fine form from last season going into this campaign. The Hammers are in 2nd place having picked up a 4-2 win away to Newcastle, a 4-1 victory at home to Leicester, and a 2-2 draw at home to Crystal Palace. You could argue that David Moyes has yet to see his team be truly tested so far this season but he won't be too disappointed by an unbeaten start after 3 league games. Michail Antonio is aiming to become the first player to grab at least one goal and one assist in four straight Premier League games. West Ham also boast the best shots to goal conversion rate in the top flight at 19.6%. Pablo Fornals could be another option after Antonio as an anytime scorer with the Spaniard scoring 4 goals in his last 4 league games for the club.

Head-to-head meetings between these two clubs does not make for pretty reading for Southampton fans. West Ham have won 6 of the last 7 encounters and have scored 15 goals and conceding just 2 goals during that period. West Ham have also won more games against Southampton than any other side in the Premier League. I have to back West Ham to do the business here. They just look so dangerous on the attack and I still have doubt over how consistent Southampton can be this season. Their performances have been OK but if they're playing above expectation levels but still not picking up the wins then you have to worry.

Watford vs Wolves

The final game of the 3pm BST kick-offs on Saturday afternoon to be previewed is the match of Watford versus Wolves from Vicarage Road. Both of these sides have endured a tricky start to their league campaigns but this is a great opportunity for both teams to pick up a much-needed win to give their seasons a vital boost. Defeat for either side could be seriously detrimental to their early season form.

Watford looked irresistible in their opening weekend 3-2 win at home to Aston Villa but it's not been so decent since with back-to-back defeats against Brighton and Tottenham away. The Hornets return to home turf this week knowing their form at Vicarage Road is still impressive. Xisco's men have won their last 11 competitive matches at home in a run that stretches back to last season. Ismaila Sarr will be a key player for Watford again here after being instrumental in the side's opening game win and also taking that form into the international break for Senegal where he was on the score sheet.

Wolves have been unfortunate so far to lose all three of their league games leaving them in 18th place. Bruno Lage's side have arguably been the superior team in all three of their 1-0 losses to Leicester, Tottenham, and Manchester United but failure to take their chances has left them wanting. Wanderers have also lost their last three away league matches so their away form is in need of improvement. One shining light for Lage's men was the comfortable 4-0 win away to Championship side Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup 2nd Round but it's one thing scoring against a confidence-lacking team from the division below and winning against a team buzzing after promotion to the top flight.

It was Watford who prevailed as 2-1 winners when these two sides met at this venue in their previous Premier League meeting back on New Year's Day in 2020. Generally, the outcome has been mixed between these two sides over recent seasons. I just feel Watford have more about them going forward. I still feel Wolves could finally score here but they still lack that clinical edge up front. I just feel it's hard to back Wolves when they just can't score at the moment.

Chelsea vs Aston Villa

The 5:30pm BST kick-off on Saturday afternoon will see one of the pre-season title favourites Chelsea welcome mid-table Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge. This is sure to be a testing encounter for both sides but the home team will feel this is the sort of game they need to be winning if they're to live up to the hype of being one of the main contenders to Manchester City's title crown.

Chelsea have had a solid start to their season remaining unbeaten after 3 league matches. The 3-0 win over Crystal Palace and 2-0 victory against Arsenal were business-like and the 1-1 draw with Liverpool away after going down to 10 men showed the resolute attitude that title winning teams need. Thomas Tuchel's men have kept 5 clean sheets in their last 7 matches at Stamford Bridge and this staunch defensive work is a trademark of their philosophy under Tuchel that helped guide them to the Champions League trophy last season. The big news will be whether striker Romelu Lukaku is passed fit after aggravating a thigh injury whilst playing for Belgium during the international break.

Aston Villa will consider this start to the campaign as a mixed bag. Dean Smith's men started with a poor 3-2 loss away to newly promoted Watford but have battled back with a solid 2-0 win at home to Newcastle and a spirited 1-1 draw at home to another recently promoted team in Brentford. Villa have conceded 3 goals in their last 3 losses in the Premier League and each of their last 6 defeats in the league have seen them concede at least 2 goals. I still have question marks over Villa adapting to life after Jack Grealish. It's two unbeaten in the league but this opposition is a huge step up on Newcastle and Brentford.

I think Chelsea are one of those sides right now that you have to back. They look so resilient and defiant under Tuchel. He's got them performing effectively and in a well-organised manner. Title-winning sides are built on rock solid defences and he's got that at his disposal. I feel Aston Villa are still adjusting to their new signings being involved and they feel a little but more disjointed. I'd be surprised if it's anything but a solid Chelsea win here.

Leeds United vs Liverpool

Leeds United didn’t enjoy their start of the campaign, as they opened it with a 5:1 defeat at Old Trafford. However, they managed to consolidate in the following two rounds and remain undefeated against Everton and Burnley. Marcelo Bielsa’s side still searches for the first victory, though, and a tough challenge is ahead of them on Sunday. Although Patrick Bamford and the lads scored in all three rounds, they need to do much better in defense. Leeds United has conceded eight times so far and failed to keep the clean sheet in all three matches. Although they are underdogs in this encounter, the hosts will try to remain undefeated.

Liverpool opened the new campaign confidently, after celebrating in the first two rounds against Norwich City and Burnley. However, they failed to win in the first derby of the season when they drew 1:1 against Chelsea at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp’s side aims for the title after failing to retain it last season, and they want to get back on the winning track. So far, Mohamed Salah and the lads were pretty productive, while the Reds conceded just one goal in the opening three rounds. They will face certain selection issues, though, as Liverpool cannot count on Alisson, Fabinho, Firmino, and possibly James Milner. Nevertheless, they will seek three points in Leeds on Sunday.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Liverpool is a favorite in this clash, and they want to keep up the pace in the title race. However, Leeds United is capable of surprising stronger opponents, and we believe they won’t lose by more than one goal. Brave punters might try with a double chance on Leeds.

Goals Market Prediction

Although both sides are usually involved in high-scoring matches, their head-to-head encounters don’t provide too many goals. We’ll try with the Under 2.5 here, as the odds are more than attractive.

Leeds vs Liverpool

The solitary Premier League game on Sunday afternoon comes up at 4:30pm BST when Leeds play Liverpool at Elland Road in a fixture that is steeped in history and goals. Anyone over a certain age will remember the classic encounters of yesteryear including the 4-3 for Leeds where Mark Viduka ran the show. Who will prevail victorious in this clash where both teams have the fire power to cause the opposition defence problems?

Leeds have continued this season under Marcelo Bielsa as they carried themselves through last season. A highly intense pressing game that doesn't give opposition sides any time to catch their breath. Unfortunately, results haven't been as positive as the Whites would have hoped with just 2 points from their 3 league games so far and an opening weekend 5-1 hammering away to rivals Manchester United but you get the feeling things will be OK for the club this season. The focus will be on whether new signing Daniel James will start and the good news is that Brazilian star Raphinha has been given the all clear to play from FIFA. There is a chance Leeds could endure their worst start to a top flight season since 1958/59 and could equal their longest winless league run under Bielsa but they are still unbeaten at home in their last 7 league games. Patrick Bamford is still the man to watch up front having scored 98 career goals in the league and having bagged 4 goals in his last 7 appearances.

Liverpool are looking more like the side that stormed to the Premier League title in 2019/20. Jurgen Klopp's side have seen their title rivals in Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea spend big but the Reds have kept faith in the players at their disposal with the return of Virgil Van Dijk to command their defence feeling like a new signing after his long injury lay-off. One frightening stat is that Liverpool are undefeated in 33 league matches when Van Dijk and Joel Matip have been partnered in the Liverpool defence. It's now 13 league games unbeaten for Liverpool stretching back to last season. They have won 7 of their last 8 away league games including winning the last 4 on the bounce. Mohamed Salah could become just the second African player to reach 100 Premier League goals after Didier Drogba if he scores in this game. It'll be interesting to see how Liverpool fair without the injured Roberto Firmino.

This has the potential to be a real fire cracker of a game. It's good that the Brazilian players have been given the green light to play because that would have cast a dark shadow over proceedings and it'll make for a more entertaining spectacle. I feel Liverpool have to be backed against anyone right now and they are already showing they are back to their best. I wouldn't be surprised to see a swash buckling affair but Liverpool should grab the win.

Everton vs Burnley

The hosts started the season well, and they collected seven points from the first three rounds. Everton opened the campaign with a 3:1 victory over Southampton, while they picked up a point in Leeds after a 2:2 draw. Rafael Benitez’s side heads to this game after a 2:0 win over Brighton on the road and wants to keep up the form. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been producing one goal per match on average, and the home fans expect him to continue being clinical. A potential victory in this clash could lift the Toffees to the joint-top spot along with Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool.

On the other hand, Burnley struggles at the beginning of the campaign, as they picked up just a point s far. The away side remained undefeated only against Leeds at home just before the international break. Sean Duche’s side has trouble converting its chances into goals, as they netted only two times in three matches. Nevertheless, Burnley hasn’t been bad in defense, as they conceded five goals. James Tarkowski and the lads need to improve their game to get out of the danger zone, as they are currently right below the red line.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Although the home side had been very bad at Goodison Park last season, it seems they improved their home form. Everton is a favorite in this clash, and we believe the hosts will meet expectations and pick up the new three points.

Recent encounters of these two sides at Goodison Park haven’t been too productive, and we expect a similar scenario on Monday. Burnley has been very inefficient so far, and this match should stay under a 2.5 margin.

Everton vs Burnley

The Monday night football game in the Premier League is an 8pm BST kick-off between Everton and Burnley at Goodison Park. These two sides are experiencing contrasting starts to the season with the home side remaining undefeated so far as they come into this game against a travelling team who have thus far failed to register a victory. Will that trend continue here or will we see the pattern upset?

Everton are enjoying life under new manager Rafa Benitez so far this season after a 3-1 at home to Southampton was followed by a 2-2 draw away to Leeds and a 2-0 win at Brighton. It seems that the former Liverpool man is already winning over the blue side of the city after a short time in charge. The big news is that new signing Salomon Rondon could be handed a start for the debut after joining the club on transfer deadline day. Dominic Calvert-Lewin could still lead the line though having scored in 3 straight appearances against Burnley. Demarai Gray is another contender for anytime scorer having bagged a goal in two games in a row. Let's hope not because the guy I am facing in our football team fantasy league head-to-head has him in his side with me 2 points better off with no other players on either side left to play. That's another story though!

Burnley continue their traditional torrid start to a league campaign. Sean Dyche's team have lost 2-1 at home to Brighton before losing 2-0 away to Liverpool and drawing 1-1 at home with Leeds. The Clarets could give a start to deadline day arrival Maxwel Cornet. The club have won just 4 of their last 22 league games. Each of those wins have come on their travels as well. Chris Wood remains the key man for Burnley's goals having been involved in 12 of their last 16 goals including scoring 9 of those. Their long ball approach is evident in the fact that Burnley have a division-high 24% of long passes.

This might seem like Everton's game to win on paper but they have only managed 3 wins in their last 8 league meetings. Burnley have even won 50% of their last 4 visits to Goodison Park. In the last 15 meetings, both teams have won 7 encounters each and there has only been one draw. I still feel Everton should win this. Burnley are notorious slow starters in the league and proving that once again. Everton look decent under Benitez and I can see them winning this one.

With him and Richarlison starting as the front two I think they're both on offer at reasonable prices. 25 points on Richarlison to score at 2/1 Betway and 15 points on Gray at 4.4. Also had 5 points on Barnes at 4/1 Hills on the basis that it's an ok price in conjunction with my "scratch of the day" offer (money back as a free bet as long as Richarlison manages a shot on target). As he's going to score it's obviously your classic "bet to nothing" scenario! :lol
