Betis vs Real Madrid

Betis aims for another successful campaign after finishing 6th last season and securing the Europa League ticket. The hosts booked a pair of draws in the first two rounds of La Liga. Manuel Pellegrini’s side got back from Mallorca with a 1:1 draw, but they failed to beat Cadiz at home. Despite being pretty productive in the front, Betis still has troubles keeping its net intact. The home side conceded in the previous seven matches, including friendlies. They only kept their net intact against the Swiss second-tier team Winterthur. Betis should be more disciplined in the back if they want to remain undefeated after this round.

Real Madrid opened the campaign with two games on the road, and they returned from Vitoria with a 4:1 win over Alaves. However, Carlo Ancelotti’s side had a hiccup last weekend, dropping two points against Levante. Although they had an early lead thanks to Gareth Bale’s goal, Los Blancos needed to get back into the game twice. The match eventually ended 3:3, and much work is ahead of the current runners-up. Real Madrid’s efforts to sign Kylian Mbappe could pay off, as we expect the transfer announcement in the following days. However, the visitors need to be more confident in games where they are firm favorites.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Betis is a tricky rival, especially when playing at the home ground. However, Real Madrid has been pretty successful on the green side of Sevilla, and we expect them to get back home with three points.

Goals Market Prediction

When Betis hosts their head-to-head clashes, we can usually expect to see many goals. Their last five encounters in Sevilla went over a 2.5 margin, with both teams scoring. The scenario shouldn’t be different in this one either, and we expect to see at least three goals.

Real Madrid to Win @ 1.90

Over 2.5 FT @ 1.70

Correct score 1:2 @ 8.50

Celta Vigo

They draw with Osasuna at 0-0 in last game. They have not got any victory this season yet. Seeing from statistics in last season, they focus more on offensive but ignore defensive, with 1.45 scoring goals and 1.5 conceding goals in average of last season.

Athletic Bilbao

They take one point from FC Barcelona in last game. They have been winless for two matches, with only one scoring goal in total. The only one scoring goal is made by Centre Back, Inigo Martinez Berridi. If they do not improve their defensive, they are unlikely to win.

Verdict:

There is no big gap between Celta Vigo and Athletic Bilbao. Athletic Bilbao are in high morale as they draw with FC Barcelona in last game. It is predicted that Athletic Bilbao will take one point from Celta Vigo in upcoming game.

Prediction: 0-0, 1-1, 0-1

Atletico Madrid vs Villarreal

The home side wants to retain the title, and they started the campaign very well. Los Colchoneros have a perfect record after two rounds, and they want to continue in the same fashion. Diego Simeone’s side managed to get back home from Vigo with a 2:1 win while beating Elche last weekend. Atletico Madrid doesn’t give up on its disciplined style of play,  and they conceded just once so far. On the other hand, Luis Suarez and the lads might be more productive as the season goes. This is going to be their most challenging task so far in the season, and we’ll see how they will deal with it.

Villarreal hasn’t tasted a victory for a while, as they failed to win nine teams in a row, including friendlies. They were close to winning the UEFA Super Cup, but the Yellow Submarine lost after the penalty shootout. Unai Emery’s side started the campaign with two goalless draws, and they were very unlucky not to beat Granada in the opening round. Villarreal heads to this clash after snatching a point away to Espanyol, and another game on the road is ahead of them. The visitors should keep being tight in the back, but Gerard Moreno and the lads could start converting their chances into goals. They face the defending champions and need to remain disciplined if they want to stay undefeated.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Atletico Madrid has been pretty confident at the home ground lately, as they celebrated in the last seven games at Wanda Metropolitano. Although Villarreal is a tricky opponent, we believe the hosts should keep the perfect record after this round.

Goals Market Prediction

Both sides are pretty disciplined in the back, and they rarely concede many goals. Just one of their last eight clashes at Wanda Metropolitano went over a 2.5 margin. We expect another low-scoring clash and two goals in total at most.

Atletico Madrid to Win @ 1.75

Under 2.5 FT @ 1.70

Correct score 1:0 @ 6.00
