Real Sociedad

Real Sociedad has been in a very unstable state recently. The last round of away to Huesca was 0-1, which was an unexpected result. The team currently has 7 players with injuries, which have a great impact on their strength. At present they need to keep the 5th position, there is no doubt about the fighting spirit of this game.

Elche

Although Elche is ranked second from the bottom in the standings, but they are only 1 point behind the safe zone. This game is full of fighting spirit. In the last 3 rounds, they scored 4 points, drew with Real Madrid and beat Levante respectively, and their performance exceeded expectations.

Verdict:

The strength gap between the two sides is relatively large, and the Real Sociedad's main scene against the downstream teams is very stable. The 1X2 first odd is 1.44-4.20-7.50, which means support the home team. Real Sociedad should win this game.

Pick: Real Sociedad

Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid

After a shocking 2:1 defeat against Granada in their latest match at Camp Nou, the hosts managed to get back on the winning track last weekend. Barcelona got back home from Valencia with vital three points that keep them two steps behind their upcoming rivals. The home side sits in 3rd place, leveled up with Real Madrid, but with a negative head-to-head record against the defending champions. Leo Messi and Antoine Griezmann have been lethal for the oppositions’ goalkeepers lately, as they scored nine of Barca’s last 12 goals. However, their defense has been pretty leaky, as the hosts kept the clean sheet just once in the previous eight La Liga fixtures. They need to go for a victory in this one to get a chance of finishing the campaign as champions.

Atletico Madrid’s form has been pretty unstable lately, but the visitors managed to remain on the top spot. They are two points ahead of Real Madrid and Barcelona, and they need to be much more confident in the remaining four rounds. Los Colchoneros got back home with all three points against Elche but struggled to secure a victory since the opponents missed a penalty in the last moments of the match. Diego Simeone’s side hasn’t been convincing on the road lately, as the win against Elche was their only one from the previous five outings. The away side’s fans can be encouraged with Luis Suarez’s full recovery, and he should be the major threat for his former club. Atletico Madrid needs a defensively solid performance to remain undefeated at Camp Nou.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Both sides have been unconvincing lately, and this is going to be a very tight clash. Atletico Madrid didn’t lose in the last two encounters of these two sides, picking up a point at Camp Nou last time they traveled to Barcelona. Therefore, we wouldn’t be surprised if this game ends in a draw.

Goals Market Prediction

Barcelona has been pretty leaky in the back, and Los Colchoneros might be able to take advantage of the home side’s defensive weaknesses. Their last two encounters were pretty efficient, and we don’t think either side can keep the clean sheet in this one.

Draw @ 3.80

BTTS Yes @ 1.85

Correct score 1:1 @ 7.50

Notwithstanding his return, and Barca being the opposition, I can't resist backing Llorente to score at the available odds. 15 points on him at 11/2 with Uni. Scored a brace while Suarez was absent and the only goal in his return last time out. 9/2 in places feels like fare at worst, better than 5/1 feels like value.

Real Madrid vs Sevilla

After Barcelona and Atletico Madrid split points on Saturday, the home side has a chance to climb to the top spot with a potential victory. They would be leveled up with Los Colchoneros, but Zinedine Zidane has a better head-to-head record. La Liga is the main focus for Los Blancos since the hosts got eliminated from the Champions League on Wednesday. Karim Benzema and the lads need to put a much better performance than the one in London if they want to remain in the title race. It was their first defeat after 19 games in all competitions, and Real Madrid wants to get back on the winning track. The hosts managed to keep the clean sheet in their last four La Liga games, and they need to maintain a high level of discipline in the back.

Sevilla missed a chance to put more pressure on the leading teams in the title race after losing against Athletic Bilbao at home. They were dominant in that match and missed many chances but conceded in the stoppage time. The visitors are seven points behind Atletico Madrid and have one game in hand. Julen Lopetegui’s side celebrated five times on the previous six occasions, and they want to get back on the winning track. Sevilla has been very disciplined in the back, having one of the tightest defenses in the league, while Youssef en Nesyri and the lads have been productive enough. The away side managed to get back home with a win from the last three outings, and they want to keep up where they left off.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Real Madrid hasn’t been convincing enough lately, as they booked only two wins in the last seven matches in all competitions. Although they are favorites in this clash, Sevilla might remain undefeated and spice up the title race even more.

Goals Market Prediction

This is the clash between one of the best defensive teams in La Liga, and we expect to see a very tight encounter. Both sides have been very hard to crack recently, and we don’t expect to see more than two goals in total.

Real Madrid was so disappointing against Chelsea, but they are in strong form in La Liga. A victory for Zidane's team could lead it to the top, but we can not count on a strong Sevilla, they can score a goal.

Betis vs Granada

The hosts sit in 7th place, and they are on a good track of securing the Europa Conference League spot, at least. Los Verdiblancos are just one point behind Villarreal, and they can challenge for the Europa League ticket as well. Manuel Pellegrini’s side hasn’t lost in the last seven rounds, but they booked six draws in a row. Borja Iglesias and the lads could have been a bit more productive, as the home side netted 43 times so far. Betis has been pretty confident at the home ground this season, as they lost only four times at Estadio Benito Villamarin. The hosts are looking forward to continuing their unbeatable run, but they will eye for a victory that can keep them in the race for the Europa League qualification.

The visitors can be satisfied with their campaign, as they managed to qualify for the Europa League knockout stage while being competitive for the top-half finish in La Liga. Diego Martinez’s side sits in the 9th spot, being six points behind their upcoming rivals. Another participation in the continental cups seems a bit far, but if Granada wins this match, they can challenge for the Europa Conference League spot. Nazaries could have been tighter in the back, as they conceded 55 goals so far in the season. They haven’t been too convincing on the road so far, managing to get back home with a win from four outings. Granada will have selection troubles since several first-team players won’t be available for this game. The visitors cannot count on the first-choice goalkeeper Rui Silva, standard defenders Carlos Neva and Jesus Vallejo, midfielder Kennedy, and Roberto Soldado, the top scorer.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Granada will miss some important players, and Betis might take advantage of that. The hosts are pretty confident at the home ground, and they should pick up vital three points from this game.

Goals Market Prediction

Their head-to-head clashes have been pretty exciting lately, especially those played at Estadio Benito Villamarin. Since both teams haven’t been too tight in the back recently, we don’t think one of the sides will keep the clean sheet.

Betis to win @ 1.80

BTTS Yes @ 1.85

Correct score 2:1 @ 8.50
