The Punters Lounge Poker League returns this week for April running on Wednesday nights. Once again we have £150 added to be shared between the top 3 in the league at the end of the month. Games start at 8.10pm, with a 20min late registration period on top of this.  All games are played in the PokerStars Home Games PL Poker Club.

This month we have a standard Bounty format in leg 2.  League points will be calculated only on finishing position, and bounty payouts will be made according to PokerStars normal rules.   Leg 1 and 4 are standard NLHE, and Leg 3 is our PLO Leg.

 > Leg 1 : Wednesday 7th April at 20.10 BST in the PL Poker Club Home Game - NLHE 3000 chips

 > Leg 2 : 14th April - NLHE 3000 chips Bounty

 > Leg 3 : 21st April - PLO 5000 chips

 > Leg 4 : 28th April - NLHE 5000 chips - (double entrants in points formula)**

Buy in is $5.50 per leg.

Your top 3 scores of the 4 legs will count towards your league total. We will be using the usual PL poker league format, which will be updated in this thread. (The PokerStars own league scores will not be used.) Formula is -Log(position/Entrants)x100

To help boost numbers overall and in particular in the final leg we are continuing the system of doubling the number of entries used in the calculation in leg 4 (**so if 10 entries the formula will use 20 entrants). This will increase the number of points available in the final leg to make it more competitive.

All members are welcome, however you must post in this thread if asked to let us know your forum username, otherwise your placings and scores cannot be included in the league.  New players are always welcome to join in, so please spread the word and invite your friends to the forum so we can keep the weekly numbers up.

£150 Added Value

The £150 added will be split between the top 3 players of the league end, with £75 to the league champion, £45 to 2nd and £30 to 3rd.  This will be payable via PayPal at the end of the league.  Big thank you to Punters Lounge for the added funds.  The league winner will also get Punters Lounge merchandise.

Punters Lounge Merchandise

You can now win unlimited Punters Lounge merchandise, even if you have won them before. It consists of our mug with a wraparound 3D logo and also a pack of 10 pens. Unfortunately due to supplier shipping restrictions we may be unable to provide these to members who live outside of the UK.

Well done Rob, pretty much cleaned up on the bounties as well as the top position :clap  It pulls you up to second in the league, with Kev holding on to the top spot with a 3rd place tonight. ASE5 moving up with a second place spot and managing to get a bounty. :ok

Next week's game is the PLO leg with 5000 chips. Set up and registering.

Another win for Kevsul gives him a decent lead at the top of the table :clap with Rob Valk and McG lining up in position behind.  It'll need a good finish from someone in the top half of the table to knock them off the podium.

Our final leg is a 5000 chip NLHE game, all set up ready for the usual start time :ok

The final leg win goes to Barry :clap  but this time it's not quite enough to overtake the 3 at the top.

So our monthly champion is Kevsul who finished in the top 3 in every leg this month. :clap :notworthy  Rob Valk and McG each with 2 top 3 spots take the other podium places. :clap

I'll message you all to get your Paypal details so we can make the payments.

1st  @kevsul £75 + PL Mug and Pens

2nd  @Rob Valk £45

3rd  @McG £30

Thanks to all who joined in this month. :cow  Next month's league will follow straight on next week.  Will put details up over the weekend :ok

Hi, it's free in terms of the PL added value but it's a $5 (+.50) tourney each week that we play on PokerStars in our Home Games Club.  The buy-ins pay out in the normal way each game (usually top 3 or 4 depending on numbers registered) but then at the end of the month PL pay the added value on Paypal to the overall top 3 in the league table.

You can join in any time :ok

Hi. I dont have paypal. Tried to create an a/c but faced many problems by connecting to my regular bank a/c. Is payment to my Pokerstars a/c possible. If not directly maybe via 1 of the regular who collect the 45 pnd and transfer to my PS a/c. Or may some1 has a  better solution. Sorry to for this problem.
