Dortmund heads to this game after booking a place in the Champions League quarter-finals. Erling Haaland was brilliant again, and his brace helped the BVB to remain in control over the tie against Sevilla. This fantastic striker scored four goals in the previous two matches, and everybody expects him to keep up the pace. The home side sits in 6^th place, being four points behind the fourth-placed Eintracht Frankfurt. Dortmund lost their last Bundesliga game against Bayern Munich despite an early two-goal lead. They spilled too many points at the home ground this season but improved a bit when playing at Signal Iduna Park. Dortmund hasn’t lost its last five home matches, and they need to continue that record to try finishing the campaign in the top four.

Hertha is one of the biggest underachievers this season in Bundesliga. They sit in a disappointing 15^th place, being only two points ahead of the red zone. The away side celebrated only on five occasions this season, and they would be happy to remain in the competition. However, Hertha had high pre-season ambitions as they invested a lot of money on new signings. Indeed, the squad should be capable of challenging one of the continental spots, but everything went in the wrong direction. Pal Dardai’s side has severe troubles in the back, as it conceded 43 times so far. On the other hand, the strikers haven’t been efficient enough with their 28 goals. Three TG overs for today… Union Berlin-Koln over 2 @1.88,  Mainz-Freiburg over 2.25 @1.91  and  Dortmund-Hertha over 2.75 @1.93. Weather is not great for footy, for all 3 games below 10 degrees, cloudy/rainy and with some potentially disturbing wind-gusts, however should be under control during games. I wouldn’t worry about temp or rain, however wind can be a negative factor, but for all 3 it seems it will be under the level that makes the difference. In case you prefer to wait for kick off or in-play market, best to check that weather again. Draw will not help much to either Mainz or Freiburg, this should be a game where both teams go for 3 pts, especially hosts. There is a preference for Freiburg on hcap, but not enough to get involved, as their performances really worsened after some brilliant displays couple of months ago, a couple of lucky wins keeping them in top part of table,  while Mainz improved and could have some advantage in motivation here as well. Union Berlin vs Koln game screams of many things, but goals are not one of those – however this line is low for German Bundesliga, and these two have never had less than 2 goals scored in their last 12 meetings, this includes 6 from last 3 years. For bets on goals it is hosts who are worse of the two, as they are v disciplined side who generaly prefer low-scoring affairs, but we can expect Koln to show some ambition here and this game could be much better than expected, especially if Union can utilize their strength on offensive set pieces. With Dortmund involved, high 2.75 or 3.0 lines never seem problematic, but they have their heavy schedule, some injuries and rotations that will take place, plus it is Hertha on the other side, it wouldn’t surprise me to see this go above over 2.75 @2.00 during the day; however can go now with these current prices as well, minimums for bet would be o2.75 @1.83 and o3 @2.07, so plenty of space from current market.

RB Leipzig vs Eintracht Frankfurt

The home side heads to this match after finishing their Champions League campaign in the eight-finals. They lost against Liverpool in both legs and can focus on challenging the title in Bundesliga. The Red Bulls are two points behind Bayern Munich and enjoy an excellent run. Julian Nagelsmann’s side celebrated six times in a row in the German top flight and progressed to the DFB Pokal semi-finals. Yussuf Poulsen and the lads managed to score two or more goals in six out of the previous seven matches in domestic competitions. RB Leipzig has been excellent when playing at home this season, as they allowed only four points to their visitors. The hosts want to keep up the pace and stay in the race for the most valuable German trophy.

After winning five times in a row, Eintracht Frankfurt picked up just a point in the previous two Bundesliga rounds. Nevertheless, the away side still sits in 4^th place, being three points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen. Adi Hutter’s side has an excellent opportunity to play in the Champions League next season, but they need to get back on the winning track. Filip Kostic and the lads have been clinical in front of the oppositions’ net, scoring 47 goals in the campaign. However, Eintracht needs to tighten the defense as they conceded 33 times. They have been playing very well on the road so far, as the visitors lost only three games at the away grounds. Although a pretty tough task is ahead of them, Eintracht wants to get back home with some points from this match.
