ALEXXXXXXXX
Barnsley Barnsley has recently ushered in a full-blown explosion. In the past 7 games, they have not only won all, but also only conceded 4 goals and performed perfectly. With this wave of winning streaks, the team's current ranking has risen to No. 6, successfully entered the upgrade play-off area, the team's morale is high. Derby County Derby County performed well at the end of January, leaving the relegation zone after a wave of victories, but they have fallen into a losing streak again in the last 2 rounds of the league. What's worse is that they didn't score a goal in 2 games. This may be that after their relegation pressure is reduced, the team's fighting spirit has also declined. Verdict: There is a big gap between the strength and state of the two sides, and there is not much suspense in this game. The 1X2 first live odd is 1.83-3.50-4.33, obvious support the home team. Barnsley should win this game easily. Barnsley VS Derby County Pick: Barnsley yossa6133 and StevieDay1983
yossa6133
Agreed, gone for a single on Barnsley, around evens looks a good bet. Derby still not quite out of the relegation picture, they will want to get something from Millwall and Luton. They have looked so poor at the back I can see Barnsley scoring a few here. StevieDay1983
Cardiff vs Watford It's a big game for my Cardiff on Saturday afternoon at 3pm as we host promotion-chasing Watford at the Cardiff City Stadium. Expectations slightly differ for these two clubs at the moment with promotion being a demand for the visiting side where as it's purely an optimistic target for the home team. Will either side be able to walk away with all 3 points at full-time? Cardiff are still undefeated under manager Mick McCarthy and the club have turned themselves from outside candidates for relegation to potential play-off contenders with the team currently in 8th and 4 points off the top four. The Bluebirds have gone 11 games without losing but they were looking a bit short on energy in the 0-0 draw against Huddersfield last week. However, after a week long gap since their last league fixture there's a quiet confidence amongst the fans that we'll see a fully functioning City side going all guns blazing once again here. Watford undoubtedly have one of the best squads in the Championship on paper but the difficulty has been getting that talented squad to do the business on the pitch. Vladimir Ivic was a big gamble that didn't pay off and the Hornets board are now hoping that Xisco can take the club on. The team is in 2nd place and inside the automatic promotion spots ahead of Swansea on goal difference with Brentford also right on their tail. Just 1 loss in their last 8 league matches including winning 6 of those games has ensured they have put massive pressure on the teams at the top. This is a game between two of the best in-form teams in the second tier of English football at this very moment. Cardiff are looking like a far more attacking and cohesive unit under McCarthy but they take on a Watford side that come into this game as the favourites without a doubt. I backed Watford to get promoted this season and I still think they are worthy candidates. It'll be a big challenge for the home side and I think they anything more than a draw must be considered a positive result. Watford have won 3 of the last 4 meetings including the last two played in Cardiff. I'm optimistically backing a draw but I fear we might not come out of this game with anything if Watford put in a performance they're capable of. _Ghost_
Here's my weekend tissue - Q is the quality of the match, basically the mean of the 2 sides ratings. As teams are rated between 0-1, the match quality will also be between 0-1, the higher the better.
