Fulham

Fulham has not won 9 consecutive rounds in the league and fell into the relegation zone again. The situation of relegation is more dangerous. However, the team has recently made improvements in defense. 3 of the last 7 games have not conceded, but they also ended 0-0. However, Fulham's offense was really bad, and only scored 15 goals in 18 rounds.

Burnley

Burnley is also a very weak offensive team. The team has only scored 10 goals so far in the league, and the problem on the defensive end is very serious. However, they defeated Liverpool in the last round of the game, and they had beaten Wolves and Arsenal before and drew with Everton. It can be seen that the team can sometimes create surprises.

Verdict:

There is not much difference in strength between the two sides, but Burnley's recent situation is slightly better than the other. The Asian handicap live odd is Fulham-0.25, seems lacked of confidence to the home team. Burnley should at least get draw in this game.

Pick: Burnley+0.25

Southampton vs Arsenal

The FA Cup action on Saturday begins with the 12:15pm GMT kick-off between Southampton and Arsenal at St Mary's Stadium. The form of these two sides has switched places over the past few weeks with the high flying home side struggling to get wins and the away team re-discovering some decent results. Will the league form transfer to the FA Cup here?

Southampton beat Shrewsbury 2-0 in their FA Cup 3rd Round clash that had been re-scheduled to earlier this week. Star striker Danny Ings comes back into the fold after an injury and then isolating after testing positive for covid-19. Ralph Hasenhuttl's men have only managed 2 wins in their last 7 competitive matches. Historical statistics don't read very well for the Saints either. The club have only earned 1 win in their last 9 meetings against Arsenal. It's also just 3 win in 17 attempts against Premier League clubs in the FA Cup. Scoring goals has undoubtedly been a major concern. Before Tuesday's win over Shrewsbury, Southampton had only scored 1 goal in their previous 5 matches.

Arsenal look a completely different team these days. Mikel Arteta has addressed issues that were causing the slump and it's now 6 games in all competitions undefeated including 5 victories. The most impressive statistic of that run has been the 5 clean sheets. There are suggestions Arteta could use this game to start a few fringe players such as new signing Mathew Ryan in goal and defender Calum Chambers. The Gunners have won all four of their previous FA Cup encounters against Southampton. It's also commendable that Arsenal have won 11 of their past 12 away fixtures in the FA Cup.

These two sides will meet again in the Premier League on Tuesday. It was a 1-1 when they met earlier this season in a game that came at the back end of Arsenal's poor run. I feel Southampton having Ings back will make them more of a threat in the final third but the lack of chances created is still a worry. I feel my prediction here has to be based on current form and Arsenal right now are irresistible. I am worried about rotation playing a part though so I will cautiously back a draw.

West Ham vs Doncaster

The FA Cup 4th Round offers us a wealth of 3pm GMT kick-offs on Saturday afternoon. The one game that stands out for me is the match-up between Premier League West Ham and League One Doncaster at the London Stadium. Both of these teams are enjoying positive campaigns so far and this is a chance for them to bring even more joy to their fans.

West Ham are involved in a season that can be considered as one of their better ones of recent years. David Moyes has led his side to 7th in the Premier League table and the 1-0 win away over Stockport County in the FA Cup 3rd Round kept their cup dream alive albeit in unconvincing fashion. It's now 6 games unbeaten in all competitions for the Hammers including 4 wins on the bounce. The sales of Sebastien Haller and Robert Snodgrass have suggested new players could be arriving but for now the club must use the players at their disposal. Michail Antonio is set to lead the line again and will be hoping to score for a third game in a row. A word of warning. West Ham have won 4 but lost 3 of their last 7 meetings with teams placed in a lower division in this cup competition.

Doncaster currently sit in 4th place in League One and are just 3 points off the top of the table. Darren Moore will need to organise his team without the cup-tied midfielder AJ Greaves. It's now 7 wins from their last 8 games and their 3 wins in the FA Cup already shows they know how to navigate their way through a knockout competition. The 1-0 win away to Championship side Blackburn also showed they have it in them to take the scalps of teams placed in higher divisions. Unfortunately, it's only been 1 win from their last 16 meetings with top flight league teams in the FA Cup. On the encouraging side, Doncaster are looking to reach the FA Cup 5th Round for the second season in a row and they've won three FA Cup away games in a row which is their best run in this competition.

Make no mistake about this game, I think it'll be a tough one for West Ham. I just think it's going to be a riveting clash. I certainly don't think Doncaster are going to roll over but I reckon West Ham will just about have enough to squeeze a narrow win. It does depend on what sort of team Moyes puts out but you'd like to think he'd feel this season is an ideal opportunity for the Hammers to have a cup run.

Manchester United vs Liverpool

Manchester United marches in the Premier League, as they sit on the top of the table. Although the Red Devils were 1:0 down at Craven Cottage, they managed to reach another vital three points and extend an excellent away record. These two sides faced each other last weekend, that time at Anfield, and United managed to get back home undamaged. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team should be seriously taken in the title race, as very few people saw them among the hottest contenders. Bruno Fernandes and the lads started their FA Cup campaign against Watford and booked a narrow 1:0 win. Manchester United lost just once in the previous 12 games in all competitions, and although it came against Manchester City, it won’t hurt them much since the match was played in the EFL Cup. Man Utd wants to continue with confident displays and kick out their rivals from the competition.

Liverpool hasn’t won five times in a row, and that started the alarm at Anfield. The Reds have been very unconvincing lately, and in the latest Premier League round, they lost to Burnley at home. Jurgen Klopp’s side is six points behind Manchester United and slipped to the 4th spot. It sounds unbelievable, but Liverpool hasn’t scored in the previous four Premier League rounds. They picked up just two points from the last five Premier League games, and that’s something Klopp needs to address urgently. Liverpool celebrated a convincing 4:1 victory against Aston Villa in the FA Cup, but the Birmingham side fielded many youngsters. Mo Salah and the lads booked just twice on the road, and the trip to Old Trafford comes in a tricky moment for the visitors.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Manchester United’s confidence is high, while Liverpool is in the crisis. As this is the knockout game, we believe the Red Devils should remain undefeated against their big rivals again.

Goals Market Prediction

The hosts will look forward to remaining disciplined, while the Reds have trouble converting their chances into goals. This might be another clash of these two sides that will stay under a 2.5 margin.

Cheltenham vs Manchester City

The FA Cup 4th Round gives us a proper David versus Goliath encounter at 5:30pm GMT on Saturday afternoon when League Two Cheltenham play Premier League title contenders Manchester City at Whaddon Road. If you're thinking of anything other than a solid away win then you might want to think about getting yourself sectioned... but then again, this is the FA Cup and miracles can happen.

Cheltenham are placed in 6th position in League Two and only 4 points off top spot. Michael Duff used to be everybody's favourite right back signing on a budget when playing the old Football Manager games but is now the man in charge at the club. The Robins have already knocked out South Shields, Crewe, and Mansfield and this will be the club's fourth straight home tie in the cup this season. If they win this game then it'll be only the second time the club will have reached the last 16 after doing it for the first time in 2001/02. League form doesn't bode well ahead of this game though with the team failing to win in any of their last 7 league games.

Manchester City are likely to make changes for this game with their Premier League campaign really picking up some momentum now. Pep Guardiola's side are up to 2nd in the league and just 2 points behind league leaders Manchester United with a game in hand. The Citizens are undefeated in their last 16 matches in all competitions. City have also been dominant against teams from the lower leagues over recent years in the FA Cup having won their last 7 encounters with such opponents by an aggregate of 26-4. City have also reached the 5th Round of this competition in each of their last 5 campaigns.

It's hard to see anything other than a convincing away win here. Even if Manchester City made wholesale changes you'd feel they'd still have enough to ease past this game. Cheltenham are in a good place right now with Duff at the helm but we're talking of clubs being worlds apart here. Anything lower than a 3-goal defeat should be considered an encouraging display for the hosts.

Brentford vs Leicester

The first televised game of Sunday in the FA Cup is the 2:30pm GMT kick-off where Championship side Brentford host Premier League club Leicester at the Brentford Community Stadium. This is an encounter between two fast-paced attacking sides and with Jamie Vardy out injured for the next few weeks this is an ideal opportunity for the home team to spring an upset.

Brentford were slow starting this season with just 1 win from their opening 4 league games suggesting there might have been a play-off final defeat hangover lingering from last season. However, Thomas Frank has dealt with the losses of key departures in Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma by bringing the likes of Ivan Toney and Saman Ghoddos. The Bees are currently in 4th place in the Championship and just 2 points outside the automatic promotion spots. It's just 1 defeat in their last 19 matches across all competitions and that was the 2-0 loss to Tottenham in the EFL Cup Semi-Final. That EFL Cup run saw them knock out Premier League opposition in Southampton, West Brom, Fulham, and Newcastle so they're well-versed in cupsets this season. Unfortunately, their FA Cup record against top flight teams isn't quite as impressive with the club being eliminated from 12 of their last 13 matches with such opposition.

Leicester have enjoyed a superb season so far with the club in 3rd place and just 2 points off the pace of league leaders Manchester United. Brendan Rodgers does face the next few weeks without star striker and top scorer Vardy but he has the options of Ayoze Perez or Kelechi Iheanacho to come in. It's 7 games without a loss across all competitions for the Foxes. They have also shown how effectively they can dispose of Championship opposition away from home in this competition this season having battered Stoke by a 4-0 score-line. Leicester also have history on their side having progressed from all four of their previous FA Cup ties with Brentford, including eliminating the London club at the same stage last season.

I'm intrigued to see how this game pans out. Brentford are arguably a more resilient team this season but they face a Leicester side that have also evolved from last season. The Championship side haven't won any of their last 7 meetings with Leicester but I wouldn't be surprised if they gave their opponents a shock here. Will Leicester scrape the win? Probably. This could be one hell of a ding dong battle though. For the romance of the FA Cup I'm going to have a cheeky punt on Brentford.

Everton vs Sheffield Wednesday

The final game being played in the FA Cup 4th Round on Sunday is an 8pm GMT kick-off where Premier League club Everton take on Championship side Sheffield Wednesday at Goodison Park. In terms of where they are right now, these teams are miles apart both positionally and in relation to club stability. Will the home team add more despair to the travelling side here?

Everton continue to enjoy a positive season under Carlo Ancelotti with the team in 6th place in the top flight of English football. The Toffees have won 6 of their last 8 matches in all competitions. The team is boosted by the return of top scorer Dominic Calvert-Lewin from injury for this game. This is a chance for the Merseysiders to reach the FA Cup 5th Round for the first time since the 2015/16 season. However, they have progressed from 11 of their last 12 matches against teams in lower divisions in this competition. Ancelotti will be hoping his defence can tighten up again having only kept 1 clean sheet in their last 6 competitive games.

Sheffield Wednesday come into this game in decent form. The Owls have gone undefeated in their last 5 matches across all competitions with caretaker manager Neil Thompson at the helm for the past few games. The club remains down in 23rd place in the second tier of English football and 6 points adrift of safety due to their points deduction. Unfortunately, history isn't on Wednesday's side with the club losing 16 of their previous 17 FA Cup matches against Premier League opposition. If their fans want a ray of hope then it's only 1 loss from their last 9 visits to Goodison Park.

If there was one game this weekend that pits two in-form teams against each other then it's this one. You wouldn't be surprised to see both teams come into this one believing that they can win it. Everton undoubtedly have the edge and I'll be interested to see what sort of squad Ancelotti fields. The Italian won this trophy with Chelsea back in the 2009/10 season so he knows what is required to win it. He'll also know it's a fantastic opportunity for his team to win a trophy. I can see them earning a solid win against a valiant Sheffield Wednesday.

Wycombe vs Tottenham

The Monday night game for the FA Cup 4th Round is another David versus Goliath clash as Championship underdogs Wycombe take on Premier League side Tottenham in a 7:45pm GMT kick-off from Adams Park. It's going to be a tall order for the home side who have been struck down by a covid-19 outbreak and haven't played a competitive game since 9th January. Can they defy the odds?

Wycombe were facing a daunting prospect heading into this game anyway but the Chairboys have had to deal with a coronavirus problem for the past two weeks. Not only will this have left Gareth Ainsworth's squad obliterated in terms of available players and their fitness but it also means they're lacking match sharpness after the prolonged break. Wycombe are bottom of the Championship and 10 points adrift of safety. It's the tough season that many expected for the Buckinghamshire club. Still, their performances, arguably, don't warrant such a position. They have been a tricky team to break down having only lost 4 of their league games this season by more than a single goal. The club have lost 7 of their last 8 matches against top flight teams in the FA Cup. That solitary win coming in 2000/01 when they beat Leicester 2-1 on the way to the Semi-Finals under Lawrie Sanchez.

Tottenham are starting to re-discover their form after a little blip during December. Jose Mourinho saw his team cruise past non-league Marine in their FA Cup 3rd Round tie with a 5-0 win. It's also 4 league games undefeated for Spurs now with the club moving up to 5th in the Premier League table. The fact Tottenham are scheduled to play in the EFL Cup Final against Manchester City and remain in the Europa League shows how there is huge potential for this to be a successful season for the North London side. Tottenham have progressed from 20 of their last 21 ties against lower league opposition in the FA Cup. That only defeat coming against Leeds in 2012/13.

These two clubs met at this stage in the FA Cup as recently as 2016/17 when Tottenham ran out 4-3 winners. I have no doubt that Wycombe will put in a heroic display against Tottenham. There's a reason I've wanted Ainsworth to be appointed as Cardiff manager for a while now. His teams fight and put in dogged performances. I think the grim reality is that this will be a step too far for the Championship side and it's arguably the worst type of match for them to return to action after a coronavirus outbreak.

Bournemouth - Crawley Town

This is FA Cup clash and I don't see any reason why Crawley can not continue their adventure after eliminating Leeds.

They just smashed half reserved Leeds side, that was in no wayflucky win, that was wiping the floor with opponent.

Bournemouth after relegation and managerial departure is doing really well. New manager has no experience, but team is pretty much the same - just Callum Wilson  left - and top of the Championship side should evacuate themselves from the cup as soon as possible.

If they want to focus on promotion they should lose today and put reserve team. Which will lose. There is too much at stake for Bournemouth, they are 'at the game' for sure when it comes from promotion.

If they don't want to be punished and miss promotion and be nowhere near promotion again they should nicely walk away from the cup today

Bournemouth - Crawley 0-1
