Was given time off afterwards however and resumed with a solid debut run over hurdles last time despite doing plenty wrong and looking in need of the outing. Should improve plenty now and at a big price I can see him outrunning his odds. 2.10 Newcastle - 1pt e/w Karasheni @ 18/1 Is generally pretty poor but two best recent runs have come over c&d and is edging down the weights. Runs in a worse race too than last time and with 3 places on offer I think this one has a solid enough chance of making the frame. 2.32 Southwell - 2pts win Brummie Boys @ 11/2 Looks very interesting upped to 3 miles here as I think there should be plenty more to come now his stamina is stretched further. Pedigree screams a stayer and has shaped that way so far when running sound races over shorter trips. On track evidence, the better ground can suit if anything and I think he's a huge player today. 4.15 Newcastle - 1pt e/w Emulate Rose @ 11/1 Has been a bit in and out of form but won at Wolverhampton not too long back and also was a solid 3rd at Kempton off this mark recently. 7f on the all-weather suits and although not able to get involved at Wolverhampton last time, this straight track promises to suit and I think is interesting at an each-way price. 4.45 Newcastle - 1pt e/w Dusk Art @ 18/1 Has run okay the last twice but doesn't stay 7f so I'm glad they return to 6f here as it was an unlucky runner up at Leicester when last seen over this trip.
