StevieDay1983
Caernarfon vs Cefn Druids It's good to be back previewing the Cymru Premier due to the international break and the first game I'm taking a look at is the clash between Caernarfon and Cefn Druids that kicks off at 7:45pm BST on Friday night at The Oval in Caernarfon. The home side will be looking to continue their solid start to the season against an away team that have really struggled to get their campaign started. Caernarfon are one of the teams I have a soft spot for in the top flight of Welsh football. Their fervent supporter base is a delight to have in the league. So it feels strange that without those fans attending games in their hordes that the club are actually performing as well as they ever have with the club in 5th place having earned 10 points from their first 7 league games. Inconsistency appears to be the main issue here with the Canaries seeing a heavy 3-1 loss away to Connah's Quay in midweek ending a small run of back-to-back victories in the league. One win, one draw, and one loss at home also shows that consistency at home is lacking. Just 1 clean sheet in their opening 7 league games is a concern but manager Huw Griffiths has seen his team score in 6 of their 7 games this season. Cefn Druids have had a tough start to their campaign with just 1 point gained from their opening 6 league matches so far. Manager Bruno Lopes saw his team suffer narrow defeats to Bala Town and Flint Town before drawing 1-1 with Cardiff Met. This led to many thinking it would be a tricky but competitive season for the Druids. Unfortunately, the wheels appear to have really come off the cart over the past three league matches with 3 losses on the bounce with 13 goals conceded. The team has only scored 1 goal in the last 343 minutes of football. The Cymru Premier can sometimes be a league that throws up surprise results between teams that are outside the top group but I have a feeling this game could see Caernarfon inflict more pain on a struggling Cefn Druids side. The performances over recent games for the away side have been alarming and they're in danger of cutting themselves adrift if we don't see a huge increase in performance levels. I can't see them getting anything here with the home side winning. Wiltshire Shot
Good luck with Caernarfon. I think the bookies are about right this weekend so I'm giving the Welsh games a miss this time. StevieDay1983

Always going to be difficult winning after going down 2-0 after 18 minutes. Who saw that coming?! At least the over 2.5 goals came in.
